Hello! I'm currently looking for new writing partners! I have been roleplaying and writing for about 10 years, mostly with the same person on and off. Lately, that partner has become quite busy with life, and I find myself greatly missing my favorite hobby; writing stories and developing characters. Therefore, I have decided to try and reach out, and find a new partner or two to continue writing with. Admittedly, this makes me slightly uncomfortable, as I'm not the most outgoing person when it comes to meeting new people. But! I really love writing, and I'm sure I'll find someone that loves it just as much, and all will be well. :)
Themes/Interests:
- The occult (Werewolves, vampires, creatures, demons, you get it)
- Fantasy in general, medieval or otherwise
- Fanfiction (Using the world of Zelda, Pokémon, Monster Hunter, you get it. I'm down to use a fan-based story to get the ball rolling at first and go from there!)
- I'm not against trying my hand at future/sci-fi stuff!
- Romance: In ALL of my favorite roleplays, the two main characters are always romantic interests in one way or another. I find it to be a good plot device to get things started, and also make things more dramatic later on. This doesn't mean it has to be a romcom; my favorite instance of this were two characters that *hated* each other, but were always pitted into situations where they couldn't escape one another. I'm more than a bit of a romantic at heart as well, and its simply the thing I enjoy most about main characters.
Adult content:
I've been through art college, so nudity and adult scenes, when used in appropriate settings, are normal for me. I am a little touchy on how they are written, simply because I think there is a fine line between smut and romance, but that can be discussed whenever the subject comes up. I am also no stranger to writing up things that involve blood and gore--something you'll find in a lot of my own artwork. Not that I pack it into every inch of roleplay, but if a character is battling a creature of tooth and fang, you know I'm gonna be all up in those details.
I have also been writing for a long time, and I'm usually interested in playing around with darker ideas and themes and how they can make plot more interesting. By NO means does the first story have to start here, but just know that if we start to get along, its probably something I'm going to start brainstorming with.
I'm an Illustrator!
Which means I get really attached to building characters and worlds, and usually will draw up visual references for all characters. I am really invested in this stuff creatively, and I'm looking for someone that might be into that on the same level. Not necessarily by drawing, but just knowing what their character looks like, pulling up visuals and references, and building on the world we're playing with. Communication:
I work on CST, and am usually offline from 12am-9am. Since I am an Illustrator, I tend to be at my computer a lot, though I'm not necessarily looking for the same. I understand that life gets busy, and I have the patience for 1-5 replies a month from my current partner. I mostly value communication--and I understand ghosting all too well, as the last time I did this, I was ghosted quite a few times. I'll understand if things just aren't clicking, I just prefer to be told as such.
I prefer Discord as a main method of communication, as I value being able to reply on both my laptop and my phone depending on where I am. You can find me there under "Creeperlox#4524." I'll try to keep up with this site for a while as well, if you'd prefer to start here! I'm very open to just having some light discussion to see if we vibe together or not.
