Los Paraisos : To the Grande Diamond

The wind whipped past her face as the entourage made their way towards the Grande Diamond. Aria paid no attention to the rest of the group as she stared at the passing scenery, brows furrowed and teeth gritted as she hung on to the seat. To think that both Estelle and Josette had been kidnapped despite kidnappings being the very thing they were trying to prevent. What had she been thinking last night, allowing herself to get so drunk? She had been naïve to think that just because they were in a group they would be safe. If anything had happened to the girls-

The group screeched to a halt, Aria nearly tumbling off the side but managing to grab onto the bro in front before she could hit the dirt. With a small smile of thanks to the man in front she hopped off and surveyed the scene, arms crossed.

They were at a good distance from the Grande Diamond and the building certainly lived up to its glitzy name. It was an enormous building with an exterior of shining white stone and carved statues, giving it a classic yet still modern look. Burly security guards prowled the premises, promising trouble if they were careless in approaching.

"Crimcrim! Boss! Miss Pretty and Doctor Evil and oh my omelets there are too many of you to name. Who's the target. Who do I distract. Who do I nab and bite and steal from and - what's the next step!?"

"I think we should just charge in there. There's like... a billion of us."

"And how many people do you think is in there?! That place is massive!"

"...We use the back door?"

“No, but didn’t Freddie say that there was some kind of pass to get in? Is there anyway we can get one of those?”

Aria twisted one end of her scarf, listening to the discussions of the guilders around her. Usually she would have suggested using an illusion to sneak in, but with this many people it would be rather difficult. Perhaps if they all squeezed together, but then they’d need to navigate the building without bumping or alerting anybody as a large clump. Not to mention she was still clad in Chirps’ smelly guild outfit without any of her weapons. If push came to shove she could manage to give a good punch in the stomach or other delicate areas but otherwise-

“Aria,”

The illusionist turned at the sound of her name, only to manage a bumbling catch as Xan, no longer in a sodden clown outfit, threw a very familiar duffel bag her way.

“I picked up your stuff from our room when we went back.”

Trust Xan to be on top of things! Aria gave a big grin and a thumbs up at her friend before ducking behind a nearby bush to change, throwing on a quick illusion just in case. Within a few minutes her multitude of small throwing knives and such were hidden away in her clothing and she stepped back out, adjusting a glove and decked in her full guild outfit. Chirps’ clothes were draped onto the ranger’s head as the illusionist bounced over to her friend, feeling suddenly more refreshed and clear headed than she had been all day and more than ready to give a good whopping to those who had the galls to kidnap her fellow guilders.

“Dressing up as security guards might work, but obviously not for all of us.” She joined in the discussion. “I might be able to sneak us in if I take a few people in at a time but it would take a lot of caution and quite a bit of time.” The illusionist blinked, before offering up another idea. “What if I take a group in and create a diversion so the rest can storm in? Would that be easier?”
Typing up a post now! I'm rather guilty of skipping out on OOC discussions as well, mostly same reasons as Michi uvu I'll try to post more here as well!

Also, I'm envisioning the Grande Diamond to look something like casino Monte Carlo on the outside but a bit taller :D

Finally posted ^u^

And so many pretty pictures and songs! You guys really have a knack for finding these kinds of things.
Eyes shadowed under the thick hood of his cloak watched as the group of humans were subdued, trapped under nets while Luke grabbed hold of a slight looking girl. This was quite the varied looking group- or he supposed they were. Apart from Gary and a certain man who occasionally appeared in vivid dreams, he didn’t think he remembered enough about other humans to make an unbiased comparison.

“Shhhhhhhtttt, Sacchhhiiin! Look at that hommun’s earrings! They’re like, you know, bird arms. Or something. What’s the word? Feet-ers?”

A quick dodge to the side to avoid his energetic friend’s flailing pipe dislodged his hood, revealing a head of tumbled black hair and curious grey eyes set upon what most people would describe to be quite the handsome face. He stood taller than his pink-haired friend with her head reaching his shoulders while the rest of his body was hidden underneath the black cloak the four were draped in.

Looking down at the weighed down humans with more inquisitiveness than hostility he pondered the brightly colored earrings that dangled from the human’s ears.

“Feathers,” Sacha decided quietly, voice low enough for Gary to be the only one to hear him, but had to quickly step aside when the girl brought her beloved pole down on one of the humans. He couldn’t say he felt much sympathy for the now bleeding human- it was partly his fault for talking about dancing bears during this serious discussion.
Ignoring Gary’s protests he reached over her head and gently lifted the pole of her grip as per Luke’s requests just in case she decided to whack someone again be it herself or another human, giving her a look that told her he would return it later. Then again, the blue haired human certainly could talk a lot for someone who had been hit on the head twice already.

“If you intend to bring death to the table-“

Bring death to the table? Everyone knew Death was a poor companion to have over for dinner. It was nice enough for him to remind them of the fact, but at the same time once again very much off topic. Frowning, Sacha reached over with the pole and gave the man a prod.

He suddenly paused, looking to the mouth of the cave.

“Quiet,” he spoke slightly louder this time, voice soft but commanding as he raised a finger to his lips, handing the pole back to Gary. The faint sound of voices and footsteps were quickly approaching, signalling the arrival of the other half of the group. He turned his head towards the dark haired girl questioningly. They were out of nets, and certainly weren’t going to be able to move these guys out of the way quickly enough. What should they do?

Los Paraisos : La Macabaret

Aria had to hold back some laughter at the enthusiastic screamed greeting between the two bros despite the short throb of pain it sent through her head. They certainly were an enthusiastic bunch, weren’t they? An enthusiastic bunch that seemed to know every worker in the resort.

“Er, sorry to disturb this touching reunion,” the illusionist cut in, “but we actually wanted to ask about last night’s performance with miss Selan Leclair and mister Don Capuello.” She raised the newspaper that was turned to a large picture of the two. Before she could say anything else Ken perked up, grinning brightly.

“Ah, last night’s performance! The most beautiful thing I’ve seen in a long time. Brought tears to my eyes it did. And the proposal at the end!” He sniffed, wiping away a manly tear at the memory. “It was the best open mic night we’ve ever seen! In fact, I have the whole thing recorded right here. just give me a second bros,”

He swivelled around in his chair, typing away at a few buttons before the monitors sprang to life, showing Selan and Don on the stage. The songstress was decked out in a stunningly beautiful flowing white dress while Don was sharply dressed in a white suit, probably borrowed from the establishment. Aria watched in fascination as soft piano notes sounded out through the speakers while the image on the monitors started to replay last night’s scene.
