Name: Pollyp

Description: Passive, small green blob-like creature that have multiple vine-like tendrils that help them move around and store the powder they secrete when happy. They have two black eyes and no mouth as they make their food through photosynthesis. They move in groups of 10 or mare slowly across the forest floor.

Average Size: Maximum of two feet tall, and the smallest recorded was only 7 inches from the ground.

Weapons: It’s tendrils can be used to wrap up anything they feel a threat to the groups’ safety.

Occultic Properties: None

Durability: 2

Agility: 1

Strength: 1

Special Properties: Secretion of a powder know as Narcodis that can be turned into a high inducing drug.
Weaknesses: They are relatively slow and have no truly harmful attack. Most of their strength comes from being in a pack, though most things don’t harm them as they contribute to the making of oxygen trough photosynthesis.

@Deos Morran Here’s Dexter! I hope he’s acceptable, as it’s my first character I’ve made! You said we could do a bit of world building so I made a bit of an area in the Industrial District. I’m also working on a Monster Sheet for the Pollyps as well.

Assualt Rifle Specialist: Being out in the Wild World almost constantly with the need to defend himself Dexter has taken a liking to assault rifles. They aren’t too hard to come about in the Hub and even without proper military training he’s been around and used them all throughout his life.

Connections:
Having spent his entire life learning and trading in the Hub Dexter is a favorite among buyers. His friendliness and reputation with most there allow him to obtain important information when he needs it.

Knowledge of Biology:
Since he’s been out in the Wild World ever since he was the young age of 8 he has had multiple years of experience with the plant and monster life of the World surrounding Anselmo. Being able to distinguish poisonous plants from safe ones, and which local monsters are which.

Equipment:

KX-12 Assualt Rifle

An Assualt Rifle with three modes of fire; Burst, Full-Auto, and Semi-Auto. It’s built in angled grip allows for precision when firing. It’s ACOG 4x scope and canted Malta RDS along with an adjustable stock allows for versatility when in combat.

SI Cabal Revolver

A simple 8 shooter revolver. Also has 4 quick feed clips to put into the gun for fast reload if necessary.

Background:
Dexter grew up poor in a run down part of Anselmo in the slums of the Industrial District. This areas core business wasn’t like the rest of the industrial district. It’s primary source of labor ran in a Black Market sort of organization known as the Hub. Drugs, Weapons, Old-Earth Tech, and everyday items sold by people who couldn’t afford to live in the high traffic areas of the civil district where most of the businesses comes through. Dexter and his parents sold Narcodis, also known as fairy or pixie dust. They traveled outside the wall into the Wild World daily to collect it. It is formed from one of the creatures known as Pollyps. They produce the dust on their vine like tendrils when happy. When snorted it brings people into a relaxing hugh and it is always in hthe hell demand in the Hub. Dexter started collecting the dust daily with his parents ever since he turned 8. Dexter grew into the harsh lifestyle of the Hub. Most of the people there were strictly business, not to make friends and therefore Dexter had to grow without the help of friends through his early life.

When he was 16 his dad passed away after a fatal heart attack. His mom was weakened and unable to run the business and it was handed over to him. He worked harder than he ever had before and had no time for anything but work. He collected, sold, and organized on his own. He always made dinner for two, but only he ever ate. After his mom had been unresponsive for two weeks he went to check on her. Only to find her body lifeless in her bed, wrists slit. Now he was truly on his own. But still life moved on. Same buyers, same prices, no help. It went on like this for years until Pollyps we’re being smuggled into the Hub and the use for the powered was negated after people started making their own. With his business dried up ad no other source of income Dexter moved on with the ramining money he had. It wasn’t slowly faltering and it wasn’t long before he’d be out. Until he was approached by a man from the military district with a job.

All expenses paid, food and weaponry provided, months out in the Wild World, and they do forget about his illegal past. It was dangerous yes, but it was the only way Dexter could continue on living before he became a homeless man begging in the slums, unnoticed by everyone. Everyone has their problems, and he wasn’t about to be held back because of his. He had experience, and he had self-training. That was all he need out there.

Appearance:
Under the mask Dexter has short, light brown hair, fair skin, and a rough stubble. He stands at roughly 6’0” and has a lean, fit body from being out working in the wilderness daily.

Wish: He wishes his parents would have been able to experience even a fraction of the luxury he had after he accepted the job. That their last memories weren’t of the horrible polluted slums of the Industrial District and the cold uncaring faces of the Hub.

Trauma: The death of both of his parents in the same month.
