Her eyes were the size of dinner plates as she witnessed the robots starting to really move now. They didn’t seem to have an objective in place other than destruction, which seemed strange to her. Mindless beast and destruction, that made sense, but these were robots. It didn’t matter. Just as she was about to move, she saw another man on the scene. He was running away from the commotion, but towards it.

“Must be another hero! Wonderful.” She thought to herself. It was always welcomed to fight with someone else. It made things go a lot quicker

There wasn’t time for her to take in who he was or give him the pleasantries. That slippery one smiled, then nodded at the gentleman.

Her eyes locked on to two robots that were buzz sawing the bank’s front walls behind one another. Without hesitation, Sahara trotted off her spare tire to get another running start, She swiped her arm to gather more liquid and leapt back on the spare tire. At the same time, she threw down the liquid in front of her path. The spare tire zoomed on the liquid and sped faster. The tired b lined her straight into the robot’s leg. Her actual contact with the leg was at a slight angle, causing her to bounce of him like a cue ball racing toward a robot in the back corner. The robot she hit, fell backwards, throwing it’s saw into the one behind it. The was a large boom from their collision and smoke.

In her mind, the battlefield was like a giant pool table and the moving parts were balls. SHe just needed to right angles to move people and enemies where she wanted them.

Next, she hopped her tire once she was close enough to the new robot, and gave it a hard soccer kick at 60 degrees into the wall beside her target. It bounced hard against the wall at a 10 degree angle, then into the robot. The lubrication from her foot made the tire extra bouncy causing the tire to repeatedly hit the wall then th robot.

“Good, That should keep him busy for a-” She said until another grabbed another one around her midsection.

It had a tight grip on her. Most people would have been worried about being in such a predicament, but not her. Once it applied enough pressure, she bursted out of its hand like soap. She hit the ceiling at 80 degrees and used her hands to brass herself and surfed the ceiling in a handstand.

“This...IS...AWESOME!”

Sahara just happened to be in town this week, It was hard for her recently. It seemed modeling had really been picking up her in the meantime. She really didn't understand why she was particularly popular. After all, she was just a lower level hero. Yes, she was physically fit, but it still didn’t make sense to her. The time to figure it out was not something she had, but it helped with her heroing. Sahara made sure to leave the house once she pulled on her tan trenchcoat, backpack full of water, and Kitty hills.

Today, Sahara couldn’t grab her surfboard before leaving her apartment. It didn’t have a chance to properly dry like the wanted. Of course, in the back of her mind, she hoped that the day was peaceful. She took a stroll down the busy walkway and thought about what she needed to purchase. She hadn’t been in town for some time so grocery shopping probably should have been higher on her list, but she really wanted to collect some gatchas from the machines
Maybe a few gundam ones and a pokemon one to put on her window sill.

The day was so nice as she walked down the street in the direction of her favorite vending machines. A magazine cover with caught her attention as she passed a storefront. It was her in a revealing swimsuit and her posed like she was hiding it. She didn’t understand the directions of that shoot. She would have worn it proudly since it let her access her skin to use her quirk. After sucking her teeth, she moved on. A taiyaki shop came into her view first, she bought one. The fish bread was warm as she ate the chocolate filling.

“ How wonderful.” Sahara thought to herself quietly and leaned up against the storefront. Munching on the face of the bread fish.

It truly was peaceful, People passing by in droves, but were so quiet. This was why she loved this city. The fact that it was quiet. Then a loud explosion sounded down the street, and the city was once again, noisey.

“What now?” She huffed as she stuffed her Taiyaki into her mouth and quickly started grabbing the buttons of her coat. Her feet kicked off her little heels as well.

People started to wonder what was going on as she performed what seemed like a mini strip tease on the street. Under the coat, was a very scanty bathing suit and damp-looking skin. It took a moment as she bundled up her clothes for someone yell out “It’s That Slippery One!”. Instantly, she turned and gave her Miss America like wave, then search around for the closest thing to surf on. Someone happened to have a spare tire on the back of their Jeep, which Sahara grabbed and turned back to the crowd.

“I’m going to borrow this. I shall replace it when done. Send me and email if it belongs to you. Look me up on the hero database!” She said at mach speed, then swiped the liquid from her abdomen and flicked it onto the tire surface.

The crowd stood in awe as she backed up into them. Next, she swiped from her leg onto the ground. Finally, she got a running start, tossed down the tire and jumped onto it. This was the first time she surfaced on something other than her actual board. The double lubrication caused her to travel faster. Now where was she going.

*Crash!!!!*

Another explosion was getting closer as she whizzed through traffic. At last, she could see it. It was Balla Halla Banking. There was no time to waste. Her nimble body weaved in and out of traffic to cross to the bank. As she arrived, people were fleeing from what looked like Giant robots that were attacking the bank. Once she came to a stop, Sahara shook her head at the sight.

“I heard everything was going automated, but this is getting ridiculous.”
There was a moment where the students had to introduce themselves. Afterword, Gang Orca dispensed the niceties. The students were told of what they would expect while being in the school and how to uphold themselves. During which times, Alexa noticed certain students didn’t seem to be paying attention as they should have been. Xen and Voodoo seemed almost alouf as the information was given out. That struck her as odd, but she chalked it up to first day jitters. She also made sure not to look in Herito’s direction. It almost felt like if she made eye contact with him, he’d reveal her secrets.

Alexa felt a new kind of nervousness run through her like electricity. This competition against her new classmates on their first day. How would she do? She really needed to do well. Not that anyone in her family would come down on her, but for herself she had to prove why she was there.

When they changed in the locker room, Alexa kept to herself. She had to stay focused, but she couldn’t help but think about the two students that didn’t seem hero like. Voodoo and Xen seemed really scary if anything, but it really could have just been due to nerves.

“You need to focus. How can you pull ahead when it comes to these events?” She told herself quietly.

There didn’t seem to be any people in the class that had a speed quirk. The race was probably a safe bet. If only she had the right kind of shoes, she probably could speed run in her bubble like a Gerbil would, but it was too slick. It would help her possibly in the throwing competition and the in the debris event. Though again, she would have to use it her quirk and quickly drop the barrier once she evaded the obstructions. It was a lot to think about. She really wished she was a better tactician.

The bell rang loud.

Alexa was pulled from her thinking session and forced herself to get out of the locker room. Once her classmates and herself were outside, they were told the event order.

First up was running. She felt alright about this. She ran everyday, well just about and swam to help with her breath control. She needed to be able to hold her breath as long as possible. This would be fine.

All the students lined up, then the beacon sounded. Alexa pumped her legs, but she wanted to make sure she didn’t use all her stamina at the beginning. Her pace was steady was as they continued along the track. Her eyes were focused in front of her and not on anyone else. In her head, a Capybara waited at the finish line, waving a flag just for for her. As they made their way to the last stretch, she realized there was a girl ahead of her. She tried to pump harder, but she couldn’t seem to catch her. The disappointment sank in a little, but it was alright. Once she passed the line, she was told she got 2nd. That made her feel pretty good. Unfortunately she didn’t hear her time because she was focused on the others coming in. The muscular girl was right after her.

“R-really?... Strong and fast?” Alexa thought to herself as she tried to get her breath together.

The next event, The long jump, went as she thought it would. She tanked. No great distance, just an average marking. Of course the muscle girl did way better than a number of the class. She was surprised that the green kid did better than she did though.

“I wonder how he pulled that off.” She would think to herself quietly.

Next, throwing. This she felt a little better about. Alexa didn’t feel like she would be the best, but she felt like she wouldn’t be last.
When it was her turn, she took hold of the ball firmly in her right hand. The confidence was rising as she readied herself. This was something she did before, but with a different principle. When her mind was ready, she put herself in what sort of looked like a running stance. Her left leg bent and her right leg extended, and toes pointed into the ground. It made her laugh inside, when she heard a couple of kids in the class questioning what she was doing. Yes, it was odd, but she knew exactly what she was doing. With a hard jerk, she threw the ball straight up. Quickly, she brought her hands together and sucked in a deep breath. Her barrier came up, lodging the ball within its wall. Once the ball was secured, Alexa pushed with her right foot and staying firm on her left. The barrier spun in a circle. Alexa kicked harder with her right and the barrier spun faster. She continued doing this, until she felt satisfied with the speed of the barrier. Once she was ready, she let go of her breath and brought her hands away from each other. The barrier fell and the ball zoomed through the air.

“She used her barrier as giant slingshot……..Very impressive.” Gang Orca said in an all knowing fashion with his arms crossed a his chest.

Her ball landed at 502.1 meters.
A student passed them by as they chatted. He looked familiar, then she remembered. It was Albion, they had talk to him after the written exam. They would give him a wave, then continue talking.

"We'll finish this conversation later. We should get to class before we're late." Alexa said in a rushed tone and began to trot off to class. She could hear Gale following behind her.

Once inside the class, her grey eyes took in all the faces in there. Her heart beat faster as she saw Yin's face in the class. She cursed that she hadn't gotten in earlier so they could talk. She gave her an enthusiastic wave and a smile.

Next, her eyes fell on a pair that looked like they were ready to eat any and all alive.

'Don't mess with them...'

Then, finally, her eyes met with a pair of silver ones that she knew. She froze when she saw him.

"Oh....God...No..." Her voice was trapped in her throat, but her lips moved on their own. Her muscles stone and she wouldn't shake his gaze.

'What do I do?! Everyone will know!!!!!!'

"Ahem! ...Mind taking a seat...So we can begin."

It didn't take too long to realize that she hadn't even greeted the teacher before looking for her seat. She stiffly turned, bowed at Gang Orca, then turned again to find herself a seat. The back window seat was open and that would be her territory. Awkwardly, she trotted over to the seat not realizing that no one was going to take the seat. Once at it, she would seat and take out her Opal notebook with a printed picture of a serious Capybara and a word bubble saying "Work Hard!"

'I probably looked silly but I'll make up for it with my quirk.'

Immediately, she scanned the room for her classmates. Making sure to avoid Herito's gaze again. A green kid really stood out, but no big deal. A kid with copper swirls on his skin that poked out from the sleeves of the uniform. That seemed interesting. A kid with long black hair in a ponytail. A really buff girl on the other side of the room. There were a couple of empty seat and some other students who didn't seem to be paying attention(NPCS).

'This is going to be a long year...'

“Today is the day!” An excited Alexa told her reflection while brushing her hair in the mirror. Her body worked thoughtlessly to make herself presentable. It was a food think thing that she had a school uniform, she'd probably wouldn't have been able to figure out an outfit for this special day.

After wiping off her specs, she trotted over to her computer. She took a moment to look at her “Quirky” page. There had been notifications of friends from middle school wishing her luck and asking her to take pictures of the teacher she has. Also, there were comments on a picture of her with her acceptance letter and her family, of course. A big smile ran along her face.

This day would be great. She could feel it deep down. As she turned away from her computer, Ian was standing in her doorway. He was looking at her differently, not like he was about to attack. It was as if his eyes were glowing. She was a little unnerved by it.

“You alright? You’re acting weird?” Alexa said as she crossed over to her backpack.

“I-I’m fine.. I just can’t believe you’re really going to UA. My friends don't believe it either.”

“Yup! I'm gonna go and become the best hero ever.” She said as placed her balled fists on her hips and looked out the window

“You do realize...that doesn't look cool when you do it.”

“You do realize you can get out of my room.”

Ian flashed a smile, then made his way downstairs. Again, Ian acting like a fan was really weird to her. She slipped her bag on her arm and a slight memory of the bag switch played in her head.

‘Oh god.. Its ok… He won't be there. Nothing embarrassing will happen.’

She slapped both hands on her cheeks to get herself back in the right mindset. No more incidents would happen because she made sure to paint a capybara, her favorite animal, on her bag.

After finishing up her morning ritual, Alexa walked downstairs and saw her parents sitting at the kitchen table. They were laughing at something, but they quieted down when she showed up.

“Here she comes. Miss UA. Here to save the day!” Her father sang to her in a crooner style. Alexa’s face changed to a red hue.

“Stop it Hank. You'll embarrass her.” Her mother laughed as she knudged him.”Can't mess with the future pro.”

“Thanks guys…” Alexa's voice had a shy tone as she rubbed the back of her head.

It was nice that they believed in her so much. The fruit bowl between them caught her attention. Quickly, she grabbed a peach and took a bite.

“You sure you don't want me to make you waffles?” Her dad eyed her.

“ENo.. Tu muchh fewd wud *chew chew* way mi down.” Alexa answered with peach stuffed in her cheeks.

“You know best.” Her mother mused, but made sure to grab some more fruit, unzipped her daughters bag, and tossed them in. “Your bag smells weird. Did you know that?”

Alexa nervously laughed it off. She totally forgot to clean the inside of her bag once she got it back.

‘Damn you Herito.’

Once the car had pulled up in front of the school, the anxiety started to build again. What would happen once she was in there? Would she make a good first impression? Who was her teacher? Would her classmates like her? So many questions spun around her head.

“Alexa, everything will be fine.” Her mother said as she gave her head a pat.

Rouge filled her cheeks as she glanced over to her mom.

“How did you know something was wrong?”

“I know that “stuck in your own head” look.” Her mom smiled lovingly at her. “Things will be fine and if they aren't fine, you'll get through it. Your my daughter, you can get through anything.”

Of course this woman was right. It's a good thing she had her in her corner.

“Thanks mom. I'll get in there and give it my all.”

“That's all I ask. Now get going.”

Alexa rushed to give her mom a kiss on the cheek and hug. Next, she grabbed her bag and hurried out of the car. She made sure to wave at her mom before running up the steps. There were so many students around. The feeling of strength, diligence, and focus seemed to fill her being.

‘Man, I got this!’

Luckily, she was placed in class A and it was located in the same area as the written test she took. No real worry was in her being until she heard a male voice calling her name. She hadn't really gotten over the “manga” situation. Reluctantly, she looked back and saw Gale.

‘Why did he have to say “hey”. He sounds like the guy from manga. Elevator scene...Focus...It’s nice to see he got in. I'm so happy for him...Bathroom scene... Just hope he doesn't notice...Rooftop scene... WHY DID I READ THAT BOOK?!’

After they shared their pleasantries, gale proceeded to tell her about the training he had with Noir and unlocking a new ability. He also went into detail about the robbery and everything that transpired. As she listened, all the nervousness slipped away, but was replaced by worry.

"Gale...I'm glad that you've accessed some potential of your quirk..." She said as she looked up to him.

'He seems so happy. I..I can't ruin that.'

"Just be careful with your new teacher...Ok?"

Alexa blinked in disbelief at Herito. The face that he was trying to get her to stay was strange. She thought he would shame her or at least take his sister's side. Then the mention of having something for her too. Really strange. The bag reappeared quickly and it shocked her. How did it get there? Did he have it with him the whole time? It was mindboggling.

Before she could thank him for it, she stepped out of his sister's way. She didn't need to have any unnecessary problems. Plus, what did he mean by brother complex? She would leave that for another time.

“Hairy knees? Quite the name.” Lita scoffed.

It was pretty funny when Lita pointed it out, so she couldn't help but giggle. Lita seemed to be on a roll with shaving jokes and name changing jokes. It did definitely help with what an awkward moment they had before.

It took Alexa a moment to think about what would happen next. He implied that he had a gift but it couldn't have been her bag. The way he used specific wording and tone, he was implying something in the bag. Now that she thought if it, she had a change of underwear in there.

‘He must have touched them! How indecent?!’ Alexa screamed inside her head. Her face matched the expression.

The feeling on slipping into the ground was suitable when he mentioned looking inside her bag. He definitely seen her underwear. She hoped beyond hope that he didn't touch them. The thought of her garments smelling like formaldehyde was a lot to take in.

….

“You...improved my clothing… Like I'm wearing nothing… and bullet proof?!” Alexa blinked again as she took it all in. She never worried about being shot while running, but being safer wasn't that bad.
“I don't know what to say… Thank you.”

Her “thank your ear genuine but she didn't know how she felt about it. The thought of someone touching her clothes without asking was unnerving but he made improvements that she never dreamed of. Her grey eyes averted themselves from his silver ones.

“That is kind of cool Lex. Now no one can stop you even when your barrier down. I wish I had that.”

Alexa smiled at Lita. That was a way to think about it.

“I wouldn't mind some more friends, I guess.” Alexa flashed Herito her most carefree smile.
“This dude that was at the exams accidently slammed into me and took my bag. I took his and… Well you’ll see in a minute.”

The guilt flooded through her as she opened the manga book and held it out for her cousin to see. The hidden knowledge they weren’t supposed to know until they were grown was at their fingertips. The consequences of their actions were far behind them now. And now, the elevator scene.

“Is that a ….?! Alexa...What?!” Lita said in a stage whisper.

“I know, I know! I didn’t expect this either.” She put her hand up to cover her face when she saw a stranger pass by.

Lita sat back for a second as breathed a sigh. She was the less rigid of the two.

“Alexa, I don’t think we’ll go to jail for this…. I mean how could anyone find out.”

It took her a moment to think about what she was saying. Maybe she was right, but they were breaking rules. Adults would be angry. As she was about to answer, she heard a familiar unsettling noise. She didn’t know what it was until she looked around for it. As she looked, Alexa could feel herself growing paler as the noise got closer. It was breathing. Finally, her eyes met with a pair of golden ones. Her brain clicked and she knew exactly who they belonged to.

“EXPERIMENT KID!” Alexa wordlessly mouthed as she sprang from the bench. “N-No It’s not what you think! I-I- !

Alexa was trembling as he looked on her. Then he called her a pervert, and the words splashed on her like a sticky goo. Crawling down her skin, the unwashable title of pervert trickled down her. Then the guilt of him knowing she went into his bag baked her.

Lita chimed in, hugging her cousin around her shoulders.

“ We’re really sorry ok?! She didn’t mean to look in your bag!”

Alexa took step away from his upside-down form when he mentioned the lab. The thought of it lined with dirty manga all over the place. And her strapped to a lab slab.

“N-No, I’m f-fine thank you.” Alexa clenched her cousin tightly as she took another step back. She wasn’t quite sure how much she was trying to protect her or run off with her.

To make matters worse, she heard someone else behind her now. Alexa and Lita’s head turned slowly behind them to see a beautiful girl glaring. When the thot comment arose, Lita pulled away from Alexa.

“Thot?! We don’t want your perv brother!” Lita snapped as she placed her hands on her hips. Alexa could feel she was about to puff up and stab her with a poison spine.

“Lita… Let’s go” Alexa said as she took hold of her cousin’s arm. “Sorry for the misunderstanding.. And for looking in your bag... You can give me my bag back at another time.”
Securing the bag.

Alexa sat down in the park anxiously. Everything was making her on edge. Meeting to show an adult manga in broad daylight and in a public place. This was teenage suicide. Her grey eyes darted around at every person walking by her bench in the shade. Any other time, she would be enjoying the beauty of the park’s trees and flowers, but today was about the business.

‘How did he even acquire something like this? I mean we are like the same age!’

As the questions raced around her head, she heard his nonexistent heavy breathing in her ears.

‘Will I turn out like him if I read this stuff?! Will I creepy breathe when I see guys?’ Alexa started to tremble at the thoughts.

‘I won’t be able to have guy friends anymore. I’ll be considered a creep! ...No more talking to Gale’

Her head bag to hang lower as made sure to keep the bag in her peripheral sight.

“If only I didn’t switch bags…”

A familiar whistling made it way to Alexa and her head shot upward. It was Lita, where a blue and white bubble sundress. She really like to emphasize her love of the water and all things marine. That’s why Alexa loved her favorite PufferFish. She was also glad that they hashed out all the exam talk the night before. She didn’t want to talk about all of that stuff now. There were way more important things to discuss.

“Why so glum, chum?” Lita mused as she daintily sat next to her on the bench. “This better be good. I was planning on sleeping in.”

“Lita, you know I wouldn’t drag you out here if it wasn’t worth it…. Why did we have to meet at the park again?”

“I want to scope out boys at the same time.”

“....I hate you.”

Lita shot her a surprised glance. They boy watched all the time. What was so different now? They would make up bios for them and everything. The Lita leaned closer into her cousin was she saw that was fiddling with her green tunic and wildly kicking her black tights and calf-high boots to match. Something was up.

“Lex, what...do you have? What did you want to show me?” Lita’s eyes were super close to her cousin now.

Alexa sheepishly brought her eyes up to her cousin and was blinking so fast.

“I can’t protect you once you see it. It will change your world. The cops may come for us…. Are you sure you want to see this?”

Lita’s eyes were really big now. She sat back again the bench for a second and thought about what her cousin was saying. What could it be? How life changing would it be? What was this new knowledge that her cousin had? After a moment of thinking, she replied.

“Yes, show it to me.”

The face Alexa made couldn’t have been anymore serious. It was like they performed a blood oath. With that, she turned and reached for something in her back pocket. It was a pair of disposable gloves. Alexa put them on like she was about to go to work and Lita sat their in aw.

There was clearly a quizzical look on Lita’s face but it would all make sense in time.

“This dude that was at the exams accidently slammed into me and took my bag. I took his and… Well you’ll see in a minute.”

(Any post dealing with the bank attack are to be completed and placed here.)
Teddy had made it out, and without any pain or scratches. He wanted to breathe a sigh, but the job wasn’t over.

‘I can’t use my powers yet. I have to wait 10 minutes. Where is the van?!’

The breakdown of not riding with them down here was really getting to him. It was supposed to be simple. Why were so many people working the bank? Was it a Pro Convention or something?

Before he could ask, he could hear the police starting to move on the front. He rushed to the side of the building to think about what was the next move.

Once the police huddled around the front of the door, Another round of spikes were sent out. Three officers had been impaled by the flying projectiles. A shoulder, an arm, and the stomach wall had totaled up all the injuries. Other cops quickly tried to move them out of the way.

The henchmen started to shoot the doorway as well to get them to clear the area. They needed to make sure that they didn't get caught by the police. Their boss would have their heads.

Will Teddy make it out with the money? Will the inhabitants of the bank make it out alive? Only way to find out is to go https://www.roleplayerguild.com/topics/174842-muha-sidestories-heroes-related/ooc
