Name: Katarina "Kat" Kirlov

Age: 20

Gender: Female

Allegiance: Trainer

Pokemon:
Rex, ♂ Larvitar:

Serenity, ♀ Ralts:

Appearance:

Standing at 5'4", wearing glasses, and always dressing as conservatively as she can, Kat isn't one to stand out in a crowd, and doesn't try to be.

Personality: Katarina is very very shy. not because she doesn't like people, or because she just isn't outgoing, instead her shyness stems from something much different, fear. Katarina is shy because of a fear of her own naivety, she does trust people, just about everyone in fact, she'll believe anything anyone tells her, and will give anyone a chance, and she is proud of that. It does however come with alot of downsides. and it has bit her in the butt more than a few times. Rather than become paranoid, and potentially sacrifice her belief that everybody is a good person, she has instead coped by being shy, and not drawing attention to herself. That said, those she does trust, or that manage to get past her quiet shell will find an almost sickeningly sweet girl who would give the shirt off her back to a complete stranger if they needed it.

History: Born and raised in Goldenrod City, Katarina's father the owner of an excavation company, and her mother a retired radio personality turned stay at home mom. She spent her early childhood, incredibly sheltered and spoiled. She got used to getting everything she wanted when she wanted, and learned quickly that if she didn't get it, that a little crying and a pouty face could get it for her, she was a total brat. Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately depending upon your perspective though, her parents were not fans of such behavior, and as a thirteenth birthday present she found herself completely cut-off.

Being cut-off, Katarina was left with few options to acquire any luxuries she wanted. Eventually she came to a balance of doing without the accommodations she had come to expect for long periods of time, and on occasion helping her father with his work to make a few bucks. As time went on though, she ;became more and more complacent with just doing with the bare necessities, but that didn't stop her from hanging out at her dad's job sites. She would regularly go just to talk to the workers, help them with whatever they needed, and see the Pokemon at work. Over time she actually came to develop a fascination with the excavation work, often they would find fossils, or relics of the past, sometimes even entire cave systems. Katarina would often make sketches of their discoveries, a hobby that she soon became quite passionate about, and after awhile decided to pursue it as a full-time profession when she could.

As such on her eighteenth birthday she decided to leave for Lumiose City, somewhere she could hone her skills, and have her work fully appreciated. Before she could leave however, her father gave her a going away present, a larvitar that had been one of the many pokemon that aided him in his business. With that, she set off, determined to become a famed artist no matter how unrealistic the goal might seem. Of course, being an amateur artist isn't particularly lucrative, that fact combined with her unwillingness has left Katarina broke, living in a tiny apartment, and desperate for cash.

Other: Katarina has terribad eyesight without her glasses.
Hmm, it has actually garnered some interest. So, I have to now ask would you prefer Casual or Advance?
Since everyone seems to be doing it. I'd like to reserve Ralts, and Larvitar if that is copacetic.
Interest. I am showing it.
Welp, you have my interest.
Bliss... what an aptly named drug. That was the only thought that went through Mouse's head as she sat there in her near empty apartment relaxing to some nature documentary about drop-bears. Smiling, she let the high take over, in this moment she wasn't running out of money, there wasn't a gang looking for her, All that existed was her, and the drop-bears. That strange euphoria was however brought to an abrupt end as a chirping noise erupted from across the room. It took her a solid minute to arrive back in the real world, and another half-minute to realize the noise was coming from her commlink. As soon as the realization finally hit her Mouse rose to her feet and darted across the room. Generally speaking, she wasn't one to so abruptly kill a good high, but even in her current state of mind it was hard to escape the fact that she was strapped for cash, and as long as there was a chance that whoever was on the other end was offering much needed money, she was gonna jump at the opportunity.

As she picked up the commlink her hopes were validated, Red Five, a hacker she had met awhile back was in need of a little magic. Mouse was ever eager to oblige, not even considering the fact that she very likely might not even be up to the task.

Definitely, heading out now. Where am I going?

Mouse quickly threw on her holsters and did a quick check to make sure she had anything she needed. Still she was halfway out the door before she realized she was just wearing socks with no shoes. After quickly remedying that situation she rushed out the door of her apartment, destination, unknown.
Life got really hectic for me recently, but things seem to have calmed down. So I shall get to work on a post shortly.
It was over a decade ago that the UN and Costa Rican government blockaded Las Cinco Muertes. Noone can sail near, fly over, or otherwise get within two miles of the island chain that now is home to an ecosystem of dinosaurs.

Of course there was no way that would last forever. Dinosaurs, a potential fortune, that is only out of reach due to a few under-crewed battleships. It was only a matter of time before some rich businessman would try and get his hands on the same Pandora's Box InGen opened all those years ago.

Enter Benjamin Statler, the Founder, and CEO of Statler Biotechnology. Armed with billions of dollars, and a desire to make more, he has set his eyes on Isla Sorna, her sister islands, and the wealth of genetic marvels they contain.

The RP would center around the group hired to explore, and recover data and specimens from The Five Deaths. So, any interest?
Alrighty, well, I shall post a CS.

Name: Elianne Dahriel
Race: Elf
Age: 25
Faction Loyalty: Gold

Appearance:
Standing at 5'7" and with a very lithe figure, Elianne while still maintaining the grace of her youth, appears very worn, with an ever-present expressionless face. A result of spending her life under the brutal tutelage of the Antivan Crows, and the subsequent assassinations she carried out.
Class: Rogue, Antivan Crow
Class Description: As a Crow Elianne learned to seek out her opponents weak points, and utilize them to bring her foes down with one swift strike. While a capable enough swordsman, she rarely gets into a prolonged fight. The poison at the tip of her blade or arrows often finishing her foe before they can pose a significant threat.
Weapons: Twin swords: Bloodletter and Vir Valorum, and a Dalish longbow she hasn't yet thought of a name for.
Armor: Almost none, Elianne wears steel greaves, bracers, and pauldrons, aside from that however she dresses for maximum movement

Biography: Born a Dalish elf, Elianne doesn't actually remember much of her childhood from before she was bought by the Antivan Crows, only a few things like seeing her clan's Halla, and being taught to respect nature. Nothing of her parents or even which clan she was a part of. Instead almost all of her childhood memories are of her training to be a Crow. Watching her friends be killed because they failed in various ways, and learning that the only way top survive was to do exactly as she was told no matter how reprehensible the deed was. She managed to maintain some level of morality over the years however, often bing the one to offer moral support to others after they comitted some horrendous act, helping them justify it, and move on. That was right up until the day came that she herself was set with the task of killing one of her peers, not just that, but one of her closest friends. Still she carried out the deed, but she was never quite the same afterwards. What had been an outgoing girl who cared about others had become a recluse, keeping to herself, and almost never speaking unless it was necessitated.

Years passed, and with them Elianne committed more and more heinous deeds, with each one offering less and less moral questioning from her. By the time she was grown and had reached the rank of an actual assassin within the organization she spoke of death as casually as a nobleman speaks of fine wines. Often describing her kills in great detail to her peers, laughing as she would explain the morbid details. She had grown into something show-off even, taking great pride in taking some of the most difficult contracts that few believed she would return from and completing them, not for the money or the praise, but just to prove to herself that she was one of the best at her job. Being a Crow meant being ruthless, but she took it to a new level, especially when a contract gave her difficulty. She would leave a trail of bodies, men, women, even children if it helped her get to her target.

That changed though with her most recent contract, it was one three others had already failed. Some Apostate Elf living in the woods of Ferelden. It took months just to find where the mage was hiding, in the Korcari Wilds just west of a Chasind village. After about a week of tracking, and some bribing local Chasind hunters she finally pinpointed the mage's hideout. Finally she would finish the job, it had taken far too much time and money to even be worth it by this point, but it had become a matter of pride to her. It only took a few hours before she had the elf in her sights, as she brought a poison tipped arrow from her quiver though, a crack of a stick nearby, and then before she could react, it all went black.

As she awoke she knew she was tied to a chair as her first attempts at movement met with unbreakable resistance. As she came to her senses she was able to look about the room, it was one of the Chasind buildings, and the mage was standing there right across the room from her. She silently breathed a sigh of relief. If killing her was intended she wouldn't have woke up after all. She kept her mouth shut and listened as the mage explained their situation. She went on with some story about how she had an agreement with the local Chasind to tell her when the Crows came for her. Elianne didn't actually pay attention to what she said until she got to the sob-story about her Dalish clan being attacked by slavers. The similarities of her own past caught her attention. She listened to a long story about how the mage had escaped her would-be captors, become a lone apostate mage wandering the wilderness, doing what she had to to survive, and finally ending up with an Antivan Crows contract on her head. Finally though the story got interesting, as it turned out the first assassin sent after her was one of the very same elves that was taken by slavers as a kid. A friend of Elianne's as it happened though she had no knowledge of his Dalish past, and doubted he himself even did. She then explained that depite besting him, when he came for her, she also recognized him, and could not kill him. So she left him with the option to die or leave, but never return to the Crows, to seek out a life for himself.

The Mage it seemed viewed the assassins like Elianne as victims, and had played the same situation with the others that came for her, While she scoffed at such a viewpoint, when faced with the choice to either die or try and live out a life outside the Crows, the choice was pretty obvious for her. So she left, to the rest of the world just some elf with a bow and a couple swords, to the Crows another casualty of a particularly difficult to kill mage, and to herself a weapon suddenly deprived of a purpose. All she had known for all her life was killing for the Crows, but now she couldn't go back, not having failed to eliminate her quarry, she would be killed by her own comrades. All she could do now was try and find a new purpose.
Ya'll still accepting by any chance?
