Dark lets out a snort at Carolyn's response. "It is a free country, quite frankly neither of us have to answer to anyone if we don't want to. However, I wouldn't take this as an interrogation Carolyn, but you're actions seemed off last night. As in you should have been able to break through that dome last night, yet I feel like you resisted. Why was that, why did that murder become so personal to you last night? Honestly I expected you to throw the attacker against the wall the moment you got through his barrier."

Dark lets out a sigh. "Also I could relate to how he felt, not 100% but know what it's like to have the power to do what you want to do. I just hope he doesn't dwell on it anymore. Oh and if you care, I almost killed Kyo a little bit ago. He's in the hospital wing. I had to take sometime to think about what I done and going to pay him a visit if there is time. You should as well, he was your favorite detention attendant after all."

"He's right you know."

Dark enters the hallway, frowning at Carolyn and Cancer. Still thinking about what he did to Kyo, and why he made his attack so intense in the first place. It was only suppose to be a sparring match and yet he almost killed his best friend.

"Not only would you be a murderer like the man last night, you would also be kicked out of this Academy. Speaking of which, why were you there to begin with?"

Dark realizes what he's done and extinguishes the flames. He takes a step but is stopped by Balthazar, who reacts quickly healing Kyo up as much as he can.

"I'm taking him to the Hospital Wing, training is done for the day Dark." He says with a disappointing tone in his voice. He carefully levitates Kyo as they fly out of the gym.

Dark sits back, wondering why he let it linger for so long. Perhaps what he saw last night and letting Aphrodite look through his mind, caused him to repeat what he did when he was a little kid. He wants to go see Kyo but thinks he should give him sometime to heal and rest, Dark straightens up, crosses his legs and begins to meditate.

Dark smirks as Kyo fell for what he actually wanted. The dark magic that Kyo went through remains on his clothes and body, and with a snap of Dark's fingers flames rise from Kyo's body and clothes.

Dark staggers doing his best to fight it off, he does everything in his power to concentrate on the flames. Succeeding he increases the heat of the flames, the attack from Kyo gets louder and louder but he keeps on focusing on the fire. One of them is going to back down, and it isn't Dark.

Dark uses his telekinesis to cushion most of the blow to the point that it feels like Kyo smacked him, it stings but nothing broken which is a plus. Dark jumps back a few feet, while directing the whips to surround Kyo once more, he lets them set on the ground and flicks his wrist as the flames increase in heat and height. With another flick, they begin to turn black, blocking out the light for Kyo.

Dark extends his arms emitting flames from them, they expand and coil up on the floor. He raises his arms again lifting the flames like a whip, sending them towards Kyo.

Scenario 12

Dark lets out a yawn as he begins to stretch out, but makes sure to not hit the sleeping Aphrodite. The visions she saw last night after looking into Dark's past overwhelmed her and she fainted, or so she claimed to Dark for the reason why she couldn't make it back to her dormitory. He didn't really try to argue with that, plus other than Carolyn the prefects really didn't mind what he did. They owe him after all so he's glad they let this slide. He rolls over on his left and slips out of bed covering Aphrodite as he gets dressed for training.

Making his way to the gym, Balthazar and Kyo are there waiting for him, this is the first usually it's Dark that is there before either of the two. Balthazar with his usual cold look at the both of them, with his arms folded, tilts his head to the center of the gym. Quickly he gets into position and looks over at Kyo, Balthazar already told them that they were going to spar against each other at the end of the month. Dark looking over at Kyo and notices that his friend isn't exactly there.

"I'm ready when you are man."

Dark halts from Carolyn's blast, then creates a cocoon around him and the others with his dark magic to protect them from the upcoming wave. Carolyn's cocoon just wrapping around her before making impact. Once it subsides he lands on the ground on one knee panting. The power felt familiar but that's not important.

"Is everyone alright, Carolyn, Cancer, Aphrodite?"

"I'm fine Dark, thanks for protecting us." Aphrodite lands beside him and helps him up. Still upset on him holding her back. "Why didn't you help?"

Dark regains his composure and takes a few deep breath before replying.

"I'll tell you later on, but for now."

Dark walks over to the river and notices the dead man sinking to the bottom. An improper burial but he wont be missed by anyone. He hears sirens blaring in the background and looks over at the others.

"It's time to go guys, unless you want to be questioned on what went on out here. Whomever did this seemed to clean up his mess and showed no signs of a corpse."

Dark flies over to Aphrodite and takes her hand and they take off towards the Academy, they look back at Carolyn who starts to rise to her feet and out of the car. She takes flight, veering away from the couple obviously still upset at Dark for holding her back as well. It is what it is, and in his eyes he know he made the right choice.
