They would normally but all his power was channeled into his hands at the moment. So unless they all hit his hands.
I thought that the original sword was stuck in the ground and all the others were copies of it. So there would be no magic involved with it being stuck in the the ground.
Wait how did Marcus survive "crashing heavily into countless swords"? Wouldn't he have been impaled?
"Hahaha, this extremely fun. I believe it's due time to stop holding back." said Deus. Tony grinned, "Fair enough." He heard the spell being spoken and jumped into the air, but then realized his mistake. He channeled all his stored energy into his foot so when he landed on a sword, he balanced perfectly on it. "I'd be dead as hell if this ability was so god damn versatile," he grumbled. "That's a nice spell you got there, very dangerous," he told Deus. Hart quickly had to change his attention to Marcus, who had somehow gotten a friggin tree and hurled it at him. "DAFUQ?" he yelled as he charged up completely, glowing bright red. He created a shield out of the energy, and when the tree hit it, and explosion was created. Hopefully it would blow Marcus back, if not he would meet him head on. He still had his personal shield and he was physically enhanced for the time being.
Also if the sword was planted face down, wouldn't all the other swords spawned also be facing down? But I can roll with it so whatever :P

Tony noticed his attack fail against Marcus, his ability must have kicked in, but right now he had to deal with Deus. The wind from Marcus' punch blew the flames to his left, so he dodged right still using his enhanced speed. At the same time he dodged the wind punch made for him, so both should slam into Deus from behind. Tony blasted another shot of energy at Deus, who was in mid air. 'Dodge that,' he thought. Hart then pushed the rest of his stored energy to form a shield like layer of it on his skin. His skin now glowed a soft red, almost unnoticeable. Now he had more space to absorb energy, and could still use the energy he already had.
Tony finished charging up right as Marcus appeared behind him, all the plant life around them was dead. Hart was ready to go. Marcus punched the ground and Tony took off, using the energy he absorbed to match the speed of Marcus. Tony was then easily able to escape Deus' vortex. So the guy had a wind affinity, interesting. Tony shot off two experimental blasts of energy towards both Deus and Marcus, the energy was a bright red, kind of hard to miss. At the same time, Tony siphoned energy off of that wind vortex Deus constructed, he could feel himself getting more powerful. He wondered why Marcus hadn't nulled they abilities yet.
