Bahamut

Bahamut listened to Grace and shook his head quickly. 2125? That was impossible. That was 925 years behind from the current year. It made no sense. Bahamut slowly turned to Julia and recalled what she said when she said she had summoned them all to save this world and thus save all worlds. Slowly Bahamut started to question if this was actually a game or not. The "NPCs weren't really acting as NPCs normally should do, there was no way to log out which games like that were illegal. Bahamut took a deep breathed and sighed. "Grace, I'm from 3050. The sequel came out in 2026, Titans at War. If you are from 2025, then this makes no sense. Have you ever heard of a game called Elder Scrolls End World? It came out in 3048. It is the MMORPG that I play." He tried to think of a logical reason for this. Perhaps Grace was just pulling a stupid prank on him but if she was being serious then that would mean they had been pulled together from different timelines. He looked to Ming carefully and gave a wide smile. If this was real, then that was the real, actual Ming! How was this possible though? It would require incredible magic power to do that kind of summoning. Then again lalafell was one of the most magically advanced races and she was the librarian of knowledge so it was theoretically possible but the likeliness of it was so rare.
@PharaohAtem Okay then I will edit that in my post now.
Bahamut

Bahamut turned to Grace when she started the Final Fantasy discussion again. She was baffled by what she had said, there was no way that was possible. It made no sense to her at all. "Wait hold on, you still play Gods at War? That came out in 2123. There have been several sequels since. Final Fantasy was shut down because it could no longer keep up with the rest of the MMORGS and it was having too many problems anyway. They were losing money too quickly trying to fix them all. Eventually, they brought down for maintenance for years in 2125 but never brought it back up again. It wasn't until 2130 that they officially called the game a loss and unable to bring the game back up. How do you not know this? It was like the biggest thing in gaming history for years." There were things that didn't make any sense no matter how hard he tried to figure them out. He waited for her to answer eagerly hoping to understand what was going on, ignoring Kiyu for now. He was interesting, a lalafell crossed with a inumimi but right now his focus was on the conversation between him and Grace.

Kiyu

Kiyu smiled at Fiona when she came. He was glad that she was still around. Despite being an Ogre she was a warrior just like he was. He respected her for her strength. He knew what she had said was true, Enforcers would probably die during the course of this mission and he would be the one to kill them but that only gave him more motivation to join. "Yes I'm sure. I couldn't bring myself to care less for the Enforcer scum. They are nothing but a band of criminals in my opinion. They know about the cracks but what are they doing to try and save this world? Nothing as far as I'm aware. I have already cut all contact with everyone who declined Julia's plea just like everyone who has decided to help has done." He smiled at her then looked back at the others and waited for Julia to be ready to leave.

Bahamut

The dragon was quickly calmed down and the maidens retreated underground after everyone helping and Julia singing a healing song. Bahamut watched as Julia spoke to Rethynth then she explained why he may have gone crazy and attacked them all. It was understandable, connected to that much life much of taken a lot. After that, they continued onward through the forest until they reached the first city. It was called Ishaena and it was the lalafell city. The city looked stunningly beautiful, game or not. This place seemed to be filled with magic. He could feel it in the air. He couldn't imagine what the actual city of magic must be like and how much magic must be in that one area.

It was then that another lalafell came over to them. Julia clearly knew him and from his name, he seemed to be the leader of this city. He promised to not tell anyone of them arriving here and with that Julia spoke a few words then vanished in the crowd of lalafell. "This is an interesting place. There was never a lalafell city in Final Fantasy." He looked around quickly and saw a Chocobo station. "They have Chocobos in this world too. Well, I have everything I need anyway. So we can leave whenever everyone else is ready to leave." He walked through the small city and stopped at the other side of it, waiting at the exit for the others to join him so they could leave.

Kiyu

Kiyu had just arrived in Ishaena and hadn't been there long. He knew that Julia would be arriving soon. It had been weeks of preparation for the summon. She wouldn't give any information to him at all as to who she was summoning either. The only thing that he had heard from her since was that she was close to getting everything she needed for the summon. It is what made him decide to travel to Ishaena in order to meet her and her new companions whenever they arrived. The moment he came into the city he sensed there was something wrong with the Tree of Life and Rethynth. He wasn't too close with Rethynth and their bond hadn't properly formed but he could sense that the dragon was troubled. Just as he was about to rush to find out what was happening Chief Yoal came up to him. "Don't worry, the situation is already being handled by Julia."

Kiyu smiled and gave a quick nod. It was good that the city was so close to the Tree of Life. The lalafell here could sense anything that was going on. He had to try and get his bond up with Rethynth at some point, he wanted to feel what they felt when they were in the city. Knowing that Julia was so close he waited for her casually. It took around five or so minutes for her to show up and come into the city. He let Chief Yoal speak to Julia first and when they were done talking he walked over to Julia before she could get too far away from her companions. "Greeting Julia. I came from Salazo. Since you told me you were close to performing the summon I decided to come here and meet you all." He stepped forward and bowed. "I am Kiyu. It is nice to finally see all of you. What are all of your names?" He looked at them one by one. His eyes widened when he saw Ming, a pure inumimi and quickly ran up to her. "Oh wow! A pure Inumimi! It is a great pleasure to meet one of my own. I look forward to learning from you." Kiyu smiled brightly before turning to the rest of the group. His tail wagged happily as he waited for each one to introduce themselves.

Name: Kiyu
Gender: Male
Age: 260
Species: Lalafell Inumimi
Appearance:

Personality: Kiyu is a friendly person who has studied the way of the Samurai. He is experienced in magic combat and despite his short size and blade, he knows he can put up one hell of a fight. In fact, it is the short size that most people underestimate about him. Kiyu understood what Julia was planning to do for a long time but he wasn't worried about his criminal offence. There were only two ways this was going to play out. Either the world was saved or he fails and dies anyway. The execution sentence meant nothing to him because he knew if he did nothing the world he would eventually be erased and Julia was going to need all the help she could get. That is why he decided to help her.

Bio: Born from an inumimi mother and a lalafell father, Kiyu possessed the abilities of both. The sheer magic potential of a lalafell and the Samurai Arts of the inumimi. He was trained in The Way of the Samurai at a small age by his mother while his father taught him how to use magic. Once he had the basics he trained himself every day and continued to constantly practice. When he reached adulthood he began to hear about the threatening cracks that were rapidly appearing in other worlds and universes. He decided to investigate immediately and see if he could figure out why and how they were being formed.

It was during his investigations that he met Julia who was already investigating the cracks. He, Julia and several others worked on solving this mystery but with no results. As the years went by the situations grew more dire. Eventually, Julia came to him with a plan. She would bring in four strangers from different universes that had the capabilities of surviving in this world and who would be willing to help her to solve this mystery and help her fix it all. She asked him if she could rely on his help and that she had to tell him now before she got him into something that would give him a death sentence. Kiyu agreed to help her. He wanted to solve the mystery of these cracks as much as she did. He understood why some of the researchers she had befriended over the years declined the plead for help but it would mean that, as Julia requested he would have to cut off all communication with those who couldn't or just wouldn't help so they didn't get put in danger either. Weeks of preparation went by, one of the top researchers named Kat helped Julia gain a lot of the required materials to summon the chosen heroes. During the end phrases of the summoning Kiyu left Salazo and travelled to Ishaena ready to meet Julia and her companions whenever she arrived. He was eager to meet them and see who Julia had chosen since she was the only one who had a part in the choosing.

Bahamut

Bahamut listened to the NPC and smiled, he looked at his fame and influence statuses and saw that it raised slightly. Then as expected, a name appeared on the screen. "Fiona" with her social status towards him. It was slightly raised, meaning that she considered him an ally instead of an enemy. They weren't close friends yet but that could easily change. He watched everyone else perform their trials and took in their abilities and what they could do. It was when Grace asked him a question that he started to pay attention again. "I'm no NPC. I am Bahamut, a Dragonborn Arcane Shifter class so I focus on magic that summons or transforms me or the items and objects around me. I can also heal, cook as well as craft weapons and armour for us." After answering her question on his build he turned to Ming and watched her fight. As expected she didn't hold back and could have easily killed Fiona. It is then that Julia spoke.

Julia gave the name of the world they were in and explained that they had been chosen. What was strange, however, was that Julia mentioned strange cracks that were appearing everywhere in all universes and realities. He remembered very clearly that he had seen several while spending time outside as well as on the news. They were too much for the government to cover up. Then Julia said that this was not a game and it was all real. Even saying she wasn't an NPC. That was very aware for an NPC and they weren't talking how a normal NPC should. Some things weren't adding up. Bahamut took notice of the fact that he couldn't leave until the mission was done. He went to his setting to check his log out capability, and as expected there wasn't one. This wasn't normal either. It was at that moment at Julia's came on his screen. She immediately saw him as a good and trusted friend and ally. The fame and influence bar was almost maxed already. Julia had summoned them and completely trusted them. She had no doubt that they could help. "Some things aren't adding up here. I do have some questions. Why were we chosen specifically? What made us so special? How did you know we were the perfect team? Do we know what are causing these cracks to appear yet? If not could we use the Library of Knowledge?" He asked a few simple questions to try and gain more information. If this was a game then it was going to be needed for the quest and if not, well then it was still needed either way. It would just mean it was much more serious. Either way, they needed to know these things. While he waited for answers he turned to the other person and slowly gave a nod of encouragement.
