The Empress stood alongside the Prime Minister, watching the docks. In the prime ministers hands was grasped the map of the new world
"So Simmons was right, there are more land masses." The Prime Minister commented as he read the map, the Empress nodded
"I trust you dispatched the message to our allies? And do you know how the Grand Admirals negotiations fare?" The Empress asked
"I did, and he's in the midst of it all from his last letter." The Empress looked to the map in the prime ministers hand. It hadn't been 40 minutes since it arrived, and already parliament had launched into a frenzy about it. Ships were being loaded with supplies... Colonists were another matter. Obviously one could not simply gather people to go as one might gather corn. It took time and progress, but they were confident they could gather them by the end of the week.
The Prime minister had dispatched letters to its allies in the Lance, Vanjanan and Numburg. It would be wiser for them to work together than for them all to risk the continents wealth. They may have lacked alone, but together they could take the new world, he was sure of it! The ships would have to be dispatched quickly, or they would not reach the new world before the potential competition, so they had decided to send an advanced group to plant a claim before their potential enemies could.
The race was on, who could get their faster? And from then, who would dominate? Would their alliance dominant, or would they be outdone. Unacceptable, they must succeed

An open letter to our allies

To whomever it may concern

It has come to our attention that there is a new land mass to the east. By the time this letter reaches you, we will probably have already sent some colonists to sail. Regardless, I believe it would be best for some of us to meet and discuss potential collaboration on the issue. I propose we meet on the capital of the Vanjanan Empire, ensuring no one has to travel too far a distance

Weapons can have a very long life span, just look at the M16. Its fully possible any of those guns existed in 2550. Regardless, doesn't the wiki state when it entered service? I know it states when covenant equipment appeared through their naming conventions, isn't there something similar for UNSC weapons? Or have we never been told that?

Also, Halo Reach era gear would be the same sort as CE, two and three. They all take place within quick succession of one another, barely spanning a few months in total. I find it difficult to believe that any gear we were using in Reach would have been phased out so quickly. And there's only two years from this RP to those games.
I understand, but bloody hell was that cruel, the prices were many times what we had thought, and I don't have the heart to rip the guy off over an ooc problem. IC I think both our rulers would know the price of ships xD
As far as I am aware, its just me buying from places right now, though I think Ducks running a few deals on the side. I think the deal I had made is about to fall through now though, since I cant really afford the new cost
OMG. I feel really bad now, the deal I made completely rips the other guy off... I think I better renegotiate xD
Be ready to update that, I've already got a deal for more ships once the RP start, hurray!

The Umbrae Populus froze up for a moment, quietly exhaling before turning to them. The Agent slowly shook its head, biting its bottom lip and attempting to mimic the human behavior of anxiety. The agents in the vent remained perfectly still, as their bodies skin changed to suit the background of the vents like a chameleon, in case one of the contacts decided to look up, ready to drop down and assist if need be

I'll begin work on a char sheet now, I call First Squad Sergeant! I'm doing this from a phone, so I'll just work on the basic info for now

Personal Information
Marital Partner: N/A
Biological Father: Jason Archer, DECEASED. Killed when Harvests orbital elevator collapsed
Biological Mother: Sarah Roland, DECEASED. Killed on Harvest (Circumstances unknown)
Biological Siblings: Laura Archer, 31, UNSC Navy Lieutenant. Robert Archer, 37, Imprisoned after a double homicide, jailed for life. Andrew Archer, 33, biologist, no military or ONI affiliation.
Biological Children: None
Personality: Perhaps the most defining feature of him is his unshakeable loyalty. He's shown a great many times that he will obey almost any order sent his way... Even if it involved killing civilians. Steven has an unconditional hatred of the Covenant. His devotion to the mission at hand and willingness to obey whatever order that is required to complete it, made him an excellent choice for special ops. He views himself as the squads own military police; It's Jameson's job to lead and his to ensure the rest of the squad stays in line. As such, he can come across as a bit of a hardass and a jar head, but he's devoted to the unit and he'd be there to charge in and pull you out of a burning wreck if you needed him.
He has a tendency to lean towards sarcastic humour whenever he does make a joke or to jab at people.
Biography: Born on Harvest before the covenant invasion, Steven was of British and American descent, having an American mother but a British father.
His parents couldn't have had more different political belief. His mother was a strong supporter of the resistance movements and stood on the left wing, yet his father was a strong supporter of the UNSC and stood on the right wing. Steven rarely paid attention to any politics until he was 10, after which he took some interest in his mother and fathers differing world views, though he never really made a decision on the subject.
Whatever his thoughts were at the time, the invasion of Harvest settled it all for him. While the Covenant glassed harvest and butchered the planet, who was it that tried to rescue them? The UNSC. Who was it who stood against the Covenant? The UNSC. It was that moment he became cemented in his support of the UNSC, believing that humanity needed to stand together against this... evil. The destruction of Harvest and the Deaths of his parents would play a major role in his life choices from here on.
As a result of this, he signed up for the marines as soon as he could, joining right out of high school. It was the only choice that really made sense for him, the Covenant had tried to destroy his future and now he wanted to have a shot at theirs.

Additional Notes
- Nothing particularly interesting to note...
Its just the same as using it in any other media. As long as I don't do something like take Muslims, make them all stereotypical arabs who run around blowing up towers then there's nothing wrong with using religion, or make all Jews have big noses and hoard wealth, but instead use it in a proper manner as a device for the plot or character development then I don't see any reason for it to be wrong.

As for characters, I've had an evil wizard cult leader, a strong atheist (ironically in a world stuffed with gods doing crap 24/7), an alien zealot, an entire alien race of atheists, an assassin who couldn't give two shits about it all etc. If it fits the setting then I might use it, or not depending on what character I'm building.
He had the messenger tell him what happened in Elsweyr basically, he's providing the little evidence he can to the Bosmer quickly, because he's also in a hurry to seek out the other Thalmor. He needs to wrap up Valenwood quickly so he can go to Elsweyr because right now Civil Unrest is rising
