A treaty with the Thalmor

To Aedil of the Aldmeri Dominion

What a sad hand fate has dealt the Dominion. Your ideas of Elven superiority lay shattered at the feet of an equal cooperation of men, elves and beasts. Your fleet is broken, your armies in Valenwood crushed. I offer you a chance to surrender to the Empire, Bosmer and Redguards. Your people will be treated with charity and kindness and your captive soldiers will be returned to you. The personal effects of your deceased shall also be returned. Your nation will be able to continue as an independent country governed in this manner should your people wish it. Just a few of the terms that will be placed upon you as a result of surrender are as follows; you will formally apologise for your acts against man and beast, you will release any such captives you are holding, you will allow the territories of Valenwood and Elsweyr to decide their political future without you, you shall pay reparations for the damage you have caused towards the other races. Finally, you're fleet size may never surpass more than a quarter of the Imperial fleet, and your armies will be restricted to 1/3 the size of the Imperial Legion. This will be in effect for one hundred years, after which the naval and military restrictions will be returned to status quo. During this period Empire forces will be permitted to stay in your land to ensure you are honouring the agreement.
Don't try to bluff, the Altmer reproduce slower than the races of men, you haven't recovered from the first war as well as we have, let alone will recover as well and as quickly as we will from this one. The Redguard fleets have put your own to shame and the Imperial legions have broken your army while the bosmer have proven to more than outmatch you on their native turf. If you continue this war, the destruction of the Aldmeri dominion and occupation of Alinor by Redguard and/or Imperial forces is inevitable.

Black Marsh

A second carriage arrived in the city, and the doors are opened, revealing the count of Cheydinhal. He steps off and into the city, guarded by two bodyguards on either side.

Meanwhile, the Elder Councillor had given a small and respectful bow to the Argonian "Greetings, I apologise for the
Emperors absence, he was and possibly is away when this summit was called. I am afraid I shall have to suffice as the Empires representative" the Councillor said as he raised again to his upright position, and when the free Khajiit arrived he gave them a small bow also "Hail" He said simply, before turning back to the Argonians

Cheydinhal

With the count having left right after the anarchy to go yo the Summit, obviously hoping Morrowind would attend so that he could try and turn the Argonians against them, not that it would be all too difficult considering their history, his son had been left in charge. And boy, was he in charge of the mess. The ones they had originally saved had provided some worthwhile information, and the position that it was linked to Morrowind had only garnered more and more support over time, considering the suspicious lack of evidence being considered too skillful for daedra worshippers. For now, he had to keep the legion on a leash... But the three penitus Oculatus had a mind if their own.
They had crossed the border into with a plan, no where near as grand as the plot that had surrounded Cheydinhal, but enough that they considered it a worth while venture. They had, of course, set up their escape route so they could make a quick get away. Using the charms around their neck, which were enchanted to confer invisibility, the three agents operated outside the control of the count, having received orders directly from the legions legate
It had become a bit of an embarrassment, truth be told, so they needed to catch the perpetrators, and they had failed with almost every plan they could come up with. That the perpetrators had not taken the penitus Oculatus had ruined that plan, and they had turned their attention away from such elaborate plots.
Oh dear, two already large nations uniting into one. Well, I'm going to step up trade with my other partners so I won't be impacted by the inevitable civil war, considering the Lance Empires already diverse composition. XD

The Staff Sergeant scanned the replacements slowly, as if sizing them up. He'd read their files; they weren't exactly experienced enough to be dealing with this. He certainly wouldn't have expected them to be with GHOST and suspected they weren't the replacements Jameson had his eyes on. How could command be concerned when people died if they were going to give them people who weren't ready for GHOSTs work?

And was there some rule that there has to be one wisecracking private with every group? If Wiley was going to keep this up, he might as well forget about the Covenant because he's shoot the private himself to get some quiet. He shook his head slowly, and loaded his rifle, checking it's sights before slinging it over his shoulders. He glanced around the room, checking for Jameson again. No where to be found. He frowned as he took his submachine gun from the crate. This was odd, he had expected at least some form of briefing by now, they were running out of time considering they were all ready to go. To say it was unnerving would be to go too far, but it wasn't comforting. What god forsaken op had they been roped into now?

As harsh as he was being on him, PFC Wiley did have a point. They would be told when they needed to be told... but still, he would have prefered some information over silence, even if it was just confirming what they were here for and nothing more. It didn't sit right that they were not going to get any information on this, what could possibly be taking Jameson so long?
"Privates, you'll learn when the time comes. Wiley, Shut up." He said bluntly, loading his submachine gun before slinging it. He pulled his helmet on over his head, and the visor changed to its opaque variation. He glanced around the room... Still no Jameson. He proceeded away from the replacements, seeing little reason in hanging around if Wiley was going to spout jokes about Rabbi's, priests and prophets. He didn't want his intelligence to be insulted by whatever Wiley considered humour

He took out his tac pad and turned it on, tapping a few commands and getting their location. So they had arrived... But what could be out here? The colony had been destroyed a year ago, and surely there was nothing left worth coming back for?
This didn't sit right, there was certainly more to it than met the eye, and considering that most of it was covered in a black sheet right now, he wondered how big this would actually get. Hopefully they wouldn't see too much trouble out here, he couldn't see why the covies would stay around a destroyed human planet, that wouldn't be their usual behavior. Maybe it was insurrectionists? They might have made a base among the ruins, but why the secrecy in that case?
He guessed it would all come out in the briefing, but he smelled trouble all over this. It seemed too strange there not to be
Time to exterminate some bugs
Alert, Genetic imperfections detected among population, possible Unauthorised Procreation committed...

"Protectione team alert, biosignals of individuals for PCIDs transmitted to your HUD scan imperfect genes. Subject is confirmed non-perfected individual. Possible genetic malmatch through non authorised procreative activity. Code: Inquire, Prosecute, Confirm." Overwatch said to them, as the units prepared their weaponry. The Collective law code actually forbade reproduction without the consent of the state, given on a case to case basis to prevent the formation of imperfects. If an imperfect couldn't be cured, full amputation from civil society was the appropriated treatment.
Effectively, the genestealer cult had been identified and branded as Imperfects due to their Genestealer DNA, the biosignals readings would constantly state that the genes were nonstandard. As a result, the subjects were slated for amputation

The APC rode forwards, the individuals activating the biolocks on their weapons, which scanned their DNA before linking it up to their integrated HUD. Hardlight pistols, electroshock batons, anti-personal pulse grenades... And the squad leader had a light hardlight rifle. Not what one might consider military grade, but considering the effect of the hardlight rounds on even armoured targets, they were still dangerous. Shots had been known to remove limbs entirely, and the shot almost never failed to punch straight through the target. It was, after all, travelling at the speed of light to its targets.
And as this was a Saeva Simius new world, those holding then were the massive apes. The worlds gravity alone was .2 G lower than what they were used too, and it was still 3.8G. These were known, unaugmented, to be able to tear a man limb for limb with relative ease.
The apc arrived at the location, its dark energy machine gun scanning the area. The six Civilis Protectione units poured out of the back, their squad leader watching his motion tracker while the 02 linked the bioscans with their HUD integrated tracking device
As for detecting the fleet its self, unconventional means achieved that. This was, after all, a massive psionic signal, flying across space. There wasn't a Triarian Watcher alive who was going to fail to report that to high command, conventional means be damned. And the response was appropriate.
"Attention all ground, defense and space units, arm planetary defence grid and prepare for exogen infection. Code: Inoculate, Cauterise, SWORD. Inoculation code: Steriliser, Viscerator, Bouncer. Force deployment code: Non-Surgical, Zero, Zero"

Equestrian transport ship

The Equestrians would make a shocking discovery come morning, when it turned out the transport ship they had used to get to the Triarian planet was now partially eaten and had areas of an odd biological substance on jt, with little worm like creatures apparently trying to eat the ship. These were, in fact, Larvae for a somewhat larger creatures. They were known for infesting and eating devices they came across and there werre entire procedures dedicated to detecting and removing them on Triarian worlds, due to an infestation in the past which resulted in several ships being damaged by the ravenous creatures

Triarian subspecies

All genetic markers in the male pointed to what the Collective would easily deem imperfection. His sensory systems were not properly developed, only one of his lungs workered, only one of his two livers worked, and his nervous system was slow in comparison. Atop of this, he seemed to possess, a lowered level of intelligence which pointing to a child having been born extremely prematurely and somehow having survived. Dozens of other problems plagued it, mostly from under development. Yet it had an unnerving way of having survived so far, and seemed rather content. Externally it could be mistaken for being as healthy as the others, if only it could see.
Uh, what? They held 31 planets and have since set up a habitat world on another, making 32. I believe you are thinking of the number of habitat worlds not including home worlds. There were 12 non homeworld habitat worlds, now there are 13. There are also the home worlds, forgeworlds and hive worlds to count atop that figure. If there were only 12, then the vast majority would be home worlds
Seems I may have to dig up the Endgame code after 50,000 years plus of it not being used. And with only 32 planets. How depressing :( xD
Seems I won't have to worry about the travel and possibly not the communication, muhahah

Speaking of which, it seems my Insect client race won't be too fond of your insect race trying to eat their worlds. I think their queens will be mighty pissed xD battle of the beasts, eh?
I should point out this will likely be the only Hive Fleet, which might explain the change in behavior, because all galaxies are now believed to be devoid of life due to the destruction, and the milky way is now completely cut off from all other galaxies for at least the next 500k years.
Unknown discovery

"Apply and identify the object" One of the Deuscidium merely stated, and Spectre teams filed out of the chamber to secure the location

Another strange discovery

Continuing the current trend of weird discoveries, the Collective recently discovered a small, decagon shaped room far below the surface of one of its forge worlds. Built out of Aetherii metals, it held a small device that was known to be used by the Aetherii to lock secrets away. Oddly, when opened it revealed that there was nothing onside but stale air, and the reasons for this having been buried is entirely unknown. Some, including some of the Aetherii, have speculated that it must have been a mistake made by there ancestors. Others believe it may have been placed there intentionally but included nothing for whatever reason, or had originally included a message which had been lost over the years after not having been sealed correctly

Equestrian Cloning Project

All of the clones have been female... Except one who has interestingly come out as a male, with other odd DNA markers that are separate to the female models, but implies a relation.
