The first trans-lance mouth dropped open, and his mechanical voice echoed out again "The Collective survived. We are the union Victorious. Many survived because of the Collective that would not have under others. This union brings a species wide safety to which you cannot compare. Destruction is not the goal, your failure to understand echoes your failure approximately 50,000 years previous. We shall remove that failure. We shall add evolution and prosperity and fraternity. We shall bring an end to war, an end to suffering, we shall bring a universal ownership of resources, from each according to his ability, to each according to his need"
I gotta agree, I would say more the nation just gets to continue as an NPC nation (His colonies should probably be returned to neutral though, and we can say the colonists starved or caught a disease), that way if his computer is repaired before this RP dies he can come back if he wishes to.
Coast of Vivia

"Hurry up... if the guards see us we'll be screwed over..." One whispered harshly to the approaching ship, despite the fact they obviously couldn't
"Who ordered foreign weapons... hell, who started arming us, are we going to start an uprising? Doesn't seem like our Modus Operandi..." His partner asked, turning to him
"Who cares, just do what you're told and keep your head down." There was the snap of a twig from behind them as the ship approached, but they didn't hear it over the sound of the smuggling boat dropping anchor just off the coast. A long boat dropped from the ship, carrying the weapons over towards the coast line, making ground upon beach. The two rushed over to the smugglers to unload the weapons.

Then there was a crack, the sound of a musket being fired towards them, and all the men ducked down. There was a yell and just over the ridge came about 10 watchmen, five with rifles and the others with swords and pistols. They took aim down towards the landing ships
"Hands into the air, rebel scum!" The Guard captain called out, clicking back the hammer on his pistol. The darkness had provided good cover for the men of Corustaria, and from behind a rocky coastal ridge came a small Corustarian ship, the signal having been the gunshot, and moved to intercept the smuggler ship.

Princess Burrows own speech

"As I'm sure you know, two days ago an interesting discovery was made. Along the banks of Vivia, brave guardsmen captured two rebels who were bringing in weaponry from Drakran smugglers. Anti-Foreign rebels bringing in foreign weapons, that is what we found... I... I think that this displays their true colours their... disloyalty not just to the country but to their own cause... The watch informant who... I mean, the lo..." The Princess sped up, trying to catch her 'mistake' quickly, but gave up and backed away from the stand quickly, turning away and giving up on the speech. No one could see her smile as she did... Anti-Foreign rebels caught importing foreign weapons. All orchestrated by Corustarian spies and Drakran's president, but of course, the rebels and civilians didn't know that. Corustarian agents had been ordered to keep their heads slow to avoid the inevitable witch hunt the rebels would likely launch. A bold move, but hopefully effective

The other Lance Human took a few steps forwards towards the Equestrians and Wookies, speaking "Quid facite tu resistunt? Nos nisi volunt attollere qualitas de vita nam omnis species."

Invasion proposal for E-1 001

Prospector: Executive, E-1 is ripe for collectivisation. Not only would it remove a barrier to Universal Union but it's planetary bodies would be an excellent addition to the Collection should we succeed. Destruction of E-1 species is undesirable but acceptable

Executive: Begin invasion preparations, they are unacceptable. Universal Union, is that so much to ask? I don't think so.

Construction begins on:
Two Times Evocatus
Two Times Princeps
Four Times Hastati
Four Times Velites

Technological advancements

Two simple devices have been created as of late for usage by Civilis Protectione against any remaining Trandoshan resistance, and possibly in combat against other species

Roller Mine: The Rollermine is an electrically charged, spherical device slightly larger than a soccer ball that reacts to movement within a sizable radius. Rollermines are used as offensive and defensive traps. As the name implies, they roll towards enemies and electrocute them via close-range electric shocks similar to electro stunsticks. Extensively used along roads, they are often deployed in groups of two to four by dropships. Upon landing, the mines will remain inert or, if they land on softer terrain like soil or gravel, they will burrow themselves into the ground, remaining almost invisible. When an enemy target is detected, the roller mine will pop out of hiding and roll towards it. The mines can magnetically cling to a target vehicle and make the driver lose control, often making them veer off road and into buildings. Attached mines cannot be removed except through excessive force; touching them will merely cause electrocution. They are also deployed in buildings and structures, taking any intruders by surprise.

Manhack: The Manhack, referred to as Dissector by the Collective, is a flying, gyroscopic device with three razor-sharp blades that constantly spin at extremely high speeds. They are able to cause severe damage to anything they collide with. They are small anti-personnel devices that use razor-sharp propeller blades for both propulsion and attack. Their spinning blades produce a high-pitched whirring sound, which is often an indicator of their proximity. Their blades are powerful enough to cut and break through wooden obstacles and some weak metals, but not through stronger materials such as concrete. They are programmed with very little concept of self-preservation, careening off walls and through objects in their single-minded pursuit of their target. The concept of the Manhack is an example of the inhumane methods that the Collective uses to control the populace. Even if they do not kill outright, the deep cuts, scars and marks that are left on it's target are highly susceptible to infection. Manhacks are used to scout areas, escort scanners and to force enemies out of spaces they cannot easily or safely access. Manhacks never travel alone and are usually deployed in groups of four or more. Some Civilis Protectione officers and soldiers carry them on their person and can deploy them to clear out inaccessible areas. Their razor-sharp blades make them especially deadly in confined spaces such as alleyways, sewers, and small passages.

"Acceptable, provide alternative" The Trans-Lance said simply, folding his arms and waiting

Nova Selkatha

The Selkath began to preach, drawing a crowd of people to the plaza, come to gawk at the odd Selkath speaking foreign words. Only a few minutes later he was met by the sound of a mechanical gurgle behind him
"Public disturbance, not very wise. Explain yourself, and apply" The Civilis Protectione said folding his arms as he stared the Selkath up and down

Kashyyyk

The Trans Lance Human looked towards the Equestrian, pausing for a moment "Language found. Failure to establish psi link." He reached up and removed his helmet, revealing his sickly face. Just in sight was a small black spot in his neck and was still bald, revealing him as being recently augmented. His eyes with an odd yellowish and his skin was pale. He opened his mouth... just opened it, hanging it open eerily as he spoke in a mechanical voice. Moving it was irrelevant for his mechanical voice it seems. A recently augmented being was certainly a grotesque sight, strikingly different to their longer serving counter parts, who tended to have regained a more healthy looking appearance. "You shall cease your movement in a forwards direction. Restriction denied."
Ik you have, Numburg and Lance sort of need to get around to it though, considering they're the ones with a massive uprising on their hands lol
Lone Ship

"Failure to comply will result in malcompliance charge. Reveal information"

Kashyyyk

The two dropships landed in the hanger, making their odd noise as the weapon mounted on the back of the pod swept over the beings, as if searching for targets. The back off the drop pod opened and Saeva Simius stormed off, a total of 10 in each pod. They brought their weapons to bear and knelt down, training their weapons on the Equestrians and wookies. Behind them stepped off two Trans-Lance Humans, who placed down an orange crystal and waiting... and waiting... and waiting
"Defectum autem fictus triarii" One reported over the radio, taking a few steps to the side
He never even mentioned you... I SEE GUILT!

In other news, is anyone else going to post soon? lol
