Refuting arguments all day long hehe

"Before you force us off think of the logical progression here. For most species forcing atheism does not work to convert them, only causing chaos. Freedom of Religion is a step that for most species allows progress to a more atheist/agnostic society. I guarantee you that some portion of these rebels are atheist, and that with freedom of religion, they could speak freely about there beliefs, without fear of death by the government. Then with the advancement of technology and progression, they would all become atheist, leading to a completely atheist/agnostic society. By allowing the rebels to win you allow for what you consider a more logical and rational society."

Response

"Irrelevant, your hypocrisy is catagorised as humourous. Point one: You are forcing a system upon them, yet condemn this yourselves. Point two: Most freedom of religion nations do not fit the rule you have proposed, therefore the rule is wrong. Point three: Your forcing of freedom of religion is causing chaos, therefore your argument is incorrect."

I didn't even realize that I made an unintentional pun there.

Oh god, I just noticed lol xD
We all know the Equestrians are hypocrites, and that they like to pretend to be righteous etc lol

Wait how come you'll help the random rebels gain religious freedom yet you'd help destroy a chaos insurrection in a heartbeat. Cultists want religious freedom too you know.

What? Ducks always been for religious freedoms...
If you mean the Collective, I'm just swooping in to prevent a war, which would leave the possibility of a galactic law code in tatters for another few decades, couldn't care less about religious freedoms xD

Duck's playing "Universe Cop" if you ask me. The thing that's annoying me a bit is that apparently when religious freedom concerns a group of people that the Equestrians despise, they have to step right in and intervene with Sazkarjhit operations. In the end it turns into a big fucking mess.

Don't worry, here comes another group playing universal cops!
UU meeting

The representatives were interrupted by an Overwatch alert.
"Alert, Equestrian agression detected against Sazkarjhit, refusal to allow Sazkarjhit to handle their internal affairs at discretion. Forwarding details"
The UU representative watched as the words scrolled past on the hologram. He turned his head towards the Primicerii
"You are supposed to be taking the mantle. Restore order." He said. The Primicerii nodded in response

Message to the Equestrians

"Attention, you are charged with unlawful invasion. As no galactic law has been written at this time, you have no way of justifying this invasion. You will therefore be subject to prosecution. Comply immediately and withdraw."
KaabanSaal has dropped, so I think we have another post, but someone else was interested first

On the subject of technology:

Why are we again starting at the logical end of the technological time line for this RP, with biplanes going to be made in the RP...

The OP repeatedly mentions muskets, so we are going to be around 1850 at the latest, with professional armies using more advanced weapons and older armies using muskets, disregarding the aircraft (which regardless of where we place ourselves unless its in the 20th century, are pretty out of place (Especially considering the RP has a "King of the Air" trait which suggests they have been around for a long time). Surely we should start the airships as made out of a weaker material, or wood or have little armour, and develop it over time too? Not start the game with flying fortresses and begin to launch Biplanes off them...

Ok, good, so we're not that far. We've got muskets as the norm, and rifles as the increasingly-norm, with giant metal airships but not metal boats, we've got heavy guns [since a flying dreadnaught, I assume, will have heavy artillery pieces], but not any kind of rapid-fire weapon.

Yeah, lets just wait for Gowia to clean this mess up, I have a feeling we'll all have been wrong with our tech assumptions.

I think the Gm/Co-Gm need to start talking, setting out what is and isn't invented, what can be quickly and what will take time, etc. etc., since there's this big debate. Also, would a weapon LIKE the M1 Garand/originalname be in the near, or distant, future of the roleplay?

Even by the very late 1870's proposals some people are making, the M1 grand isn't in, I don't believe

And yeah, we should wait for Gowia, considering he wrote the traits and one says "Musket misfires" while we also have metal airships and stuff. He needs to set the tech level
