And also, yes, I did just try and force your magical element to bond with a standard element in order to create an impossible element that would be highly unstable and breakdown, thus attempting to overload your shield gems... Chemistry can be fun rofl

Or I can just open up a tiny hole in the shield temporarily to allow a single freighter to past through and supply fuel. I don't have to lower the entire shield. Plus the stations also have small stockpile.

And the frieghter can be destroyed in transit and that small hole can be fired through...

Can I remind you that a snall hole in this context is several hundred meters wide?
New Condria

There was a wail from one of the battleships as it shut off its beam and moved forward. The battleship paused from a moment as it diverted energy from engines and weapons to another device... then emmited a single pulse which sent the Iscandarian anti-matter missiles backwards, repulsing them and detonating them, the blasts consuming the balefire megaspells. There was a shimer on the ships surface as the shields absorbed the magical lasers.

Then the S'Luk fired back; The beams converged into one location and destabalised the atomic fields of the magical energy shields. The Iscandarians had merged their shields, which might prove to unexpectedly aid the L'Er. Electrons were lost, positively charging the shield. A single slug smashed into it next and shattered, releasing negative ions all over the shield, causing the two to bond. As magic was not conventional energy and thus existed outside the laws of physics, while the incoming energy was standard, the result was a highly unstable non-documented and impossible compound... And the bonds instantly broke, releasing a torrent of energy which travelled back into the Iscandarian gems in an attempt to either overload them or simply cause enough damage to render them inert.

The L'Er battleships moved forwards, aiming to blast at the Iscandarian ships. The force was heavily outnunbered.

The ships engaged an override of their generators safety restrictions to produce a higher level of energy. Without the need for life support, communications or other systems often needed by other species, the L'Er were able to overcharge their weapons and shields to protect themselves

There was a signal broadcast from the largest L'Er ship on thousands of channels towards the EU ships, as they spammed the computers with meaningless snippets of code in an attempt to slow them and divert processing power

The transports began to move towards the planet, preparing for an invasion. The voice boomed out again on New Condria

"Do you really think this rock is yours? Listen to the wind 'No', It says 'You do not own us, you will never own us, even as you build your rotten titans upon this dirt'"

Now Wilson, I never said he had to leave, I used the word please. And while yes he can continue posting here, his opinions should no longer matter, and if they do then that is wrong as he left the RP. His word should have no more say in this RP.As for what you said Wilson, that was not what I already stated wasn't it? However there is still 3 ways they can do a prolonged engagement.A.Shut down weapons so power is not consumed as fast. That is costly though as you loose a lot of firepower.B.Lug around freighters with the fleet. They have to be unarmed though or retro-fitted with hangar bays as you don't want them consuming the fuel meant for the fleet.C.Be around a planet under EU control. Each planet as atleast one fuel depot, and this is the one option that does not come with disadvantages. However you can't exactly move planets, so this is a purely defensive option. And I am going to do all I can avoid war with the Draconians, I do not want 5 fronts to deal with. And you never answered the question of how many ships you had.

Uh... No 3 does have a disadvantage. You'd have to lower the planetary shield to pass transports through to reach the ships, or to bring the ships down for refueling. Both make your planet vunerable, as well as the refueling area as once it is identified you can bet it would be a priority target for attackers...
What an interesting development...
New Condria

The largest ship scanned the new comers ships and tried to match them to known EU patterns. When there was no match, the voice of S'Luk echoed out to the new forces

"This is not your fight... but you are welcome in it."

The six battleships continued with their assualt, the two taking up position above the planet as the transports maibtained formation approximately 10,000 years from the plabet. The largest ship remained still, doing nothing but holding its position, though energy readings revealed that it had raised its shields.

The voice continued
"Will you identify yourselves. new ones? Are you one of their... acquaintances?"
Why do I get the feeling Parra is going to ambush the force Duck has sent backwards...
We've been saying magic needs restrictions for a long time. They're never agreed on or implemented, and ducks current restrictions seem... well, worthless. The idea that its limited by mana fails because they just stick it into devices to get around that. The limit by rarity fails because from such a massive population pool they will always be able to find enough magic users.
Ding dong, the L'Er is back!

"Did you think us defeated?!"
The New Condria Invasion

S'Luk arrived in the ethereal transports, and behind them the vangaurd of the S'Luk invasion force, five battleships. The group began the invasion.
The Battleships moved forwards towards the planet, targetting any nearby ships or orbital platforms and firing a single thin beam, which was designed to destabalise the atomic field and disperse the matter, and then dragging it across, attempting to slice in half the hostile constructs.
The shuttles moved towards the planet, and two of the battleships diverged off from the group and moving towards the surface of the planet.
S'Luks battleships did not appear to be overgrown with the same parasitic biomass as previous encounters, at least there was none externally at this time, which suggested they were newly taken or constructed ships. They also did not match the constructs of the races that the EU had contacted, which left two possibilities; They were either taken from some uncontacted third party, or they were a design created by the hive its self, which was least likely but in some ways more concerning.
There was another type of ship, a larger one. It appeared some thousand miles behind the others and didnt appear to do anything for the moment, though it produced a startling amount of energy.
There was a single voice that all on the planet heard. It was gravelly, yet something in its tone denoted an air of intelligence and authority.
"Children of the enemy, you are a flagging world; Soon you shall be L'Er, your stolen thoughts added to our own, your consciousness ours. I wondet what we shall find, I wonder, did you think this rock was yours?"
