Even 20% of the Speed of Light is unrealistic for a almost Earth-Sized Moon.At this point Darkwolf's just godmodding to capture New Condia... a irrelevant planet with only a few million colonists and some farms.

And on the other hand, duck, you have been using not one but two uber shields, etc to repel 3 invasions of this supposedly irrelevant planet. Before you say anything about the energy in accelerating space rocks, why dont we talk about the energy required in maintaing that planetary shield...

Oh, and the unrealistic aspects of an actual space goddess giving magic to the race she created, which all share a link with her from her parralel universe heaven...
By comparison, a sentient star would make sense.

People in glass houses shouldnt throw stones...
But your right, I threw some of the most unreasonable devices I could conjur your way, and they were simply brushed off. (Indeed, the most ridicoulously OP beam I have even thought of in this RP, only knocked down the fleet shield for a few secons, and didnt even graze the planetary shield. Considering that, could New Condria ever fall on any legitimate way? For an irrelevant planet, its damn near invincible.

And duck, to me, New Condria is far from irrelevant. It seems from the defences that is actually pretty damn relevant.
Well, its not accelerating, because it was moving faster a moment ago. In space, if you give something a push it will keep going until it is affected by other objects gravity or collides, so if you foumnd a great strip of nothingness, you could potentially accelerate the object to light speed without needing to worry about resistance during acceleration, thus taking less energy.

Technically, the asteroid is decelerating, extremely fast, rather than accelerating fast, though obvioisly its at a speed that would realistically crush it (But then, FTL would realisticallty destroy ships too.) but its rather harsh to fly in at literally the speed of light and vaporise... well, everything

And let me be clear, this object is alien to New Condria's system. Its been brought from outside and is now decelerating. So no Duck, it doesnt matter than your moon is half the size... well, actually it does because it means less gravity on the asteroid than in Sol system

I'm going to be quite honest here, I dont defend the 70% asteroid myself. Its been a while since I passed GCSE physics. I defer to more informed judgement on what the speed of the asteroid should actually be. I have a rather lacking knowledge on physics... but then, sci-fi writers don't have a sense of scale, eh?

It's kind of like how I believe in far taxes but I really don't like liberals and their self righteous dogma. I am also a traditionalist and believe in old fashion aspects of society but I don't like the modern conservative movement, which is why I refer to myself as a centrist, traditionalist, pro government and pro patriotism. My views of patriotism is that real patriots give back to their country and its citizens as a show of their love and pride for their country. I believe that patriotism like with many things in today's world had been hijacked by greedy people who use the word to exploit their country

Patriotism is all too often misplaced or exploited, such as by the Anti-EU wings where I live in Britain. There's nothing wrong with patriotism, I myself have a lot of pride in my country, but patriotism is best taken with a dose of scepticism. There are plenty of snake oil salesmen around who like to exploit peoples loyalty.
So, we have the Draconians going to war, S'Luk unleashing their ambitions upon New Condria and Chaos corrupting Faust. Why do I feel like this is the begining of the end for the EU...
Unionist, Royalist/Monarchist. I also believe in the national dignity, honour and responsibility of the Union to its constituent countries, it's allies, oversea territories, fellow commonwealth realms, Ex-Territories etc

I would define myself as a socialist, but I cant be by definition as I support the House of Windsors right to the crown (Indeed, supporting a crown in general is technically anti-socialist). I am generally oriented in that direction however, being for the welfare state and the responsibilities of the crown towards the people. I do of course, also support the responsibilities of the people to the crown. Society is an agreement. You obey the laws, work your hardest and be generally a good person, and you get supported in hard times, protection etc in return.

The main difference between Monarchy and Democracy is that a person is put in charge due to blood, not personal merit. The position is leader becomes a title of inheritance, something that a few lucky children 'deserve' no matter how rotten they are. Rather than a title/responsibly that one must earn.I will agree that Democracy is far from perfect, it has many flaws, and gives too much voice to people who either don't care or don't know crap about the world in comparison to those who do know or care about the world. But it is definitely a better system that systematically raising the most ultimately spoiled/entitled brat of a child you could ever imagine and then letting them lead.

Actually, thats wrong. Several european Countries (notably the Holy Roman Empire) had an elected king. Admitedly elected by the rich and important, and in the case of the HRE it devolved to the point where it may as well have been hereditary

The trouble with what your saying is that "Monarchy" and "Democracy" are broad and sometimes overlaping terms. You can have hereditary monarchy, you can have appointed monarchy etc. Democracy is the same, you can have republics, you can have communes (obviously there are no soverign communes, because they simply dont work as a national system.).
Hell, you can even have both monarchy and democracy at the same time (Constitutional monarchy with an elected governing body, or a monarch voted in by the people)

Saying the two concepts automatically equal one thing, or that the two are mutually exclusive, simply arent true. Hereditary monarchy suffers the problems you suggest, but monarchs can actually be appointed as well which can circumvent said problems. Likewise, democracies can still be dominated by rich brats who brought their way to the top or had more money to spend on a political campaign, and in the past it was common to restrict voting to the well off anyway, or they would be the only ones literate enough to vote.

And while some claim republics are better than monarchies, some republics can in fact be less democratic than monarchies, depending on how the two are run.

Monarchy is the wild card really, it can overlap with both Democracy and Dictatorship, which are probably better suited to the discusion than "Monarchy" and "Democracy", or even "Ways of new" and "Ways of old" because the concept of democracy has been around for thousands of years. While the two still cover a range of government types, they do not really overlap as you cant have a "Democratic Dictatorship" by definition.

I agree, however, with a certain gentleman
"Democracy is the worst type of government, except all the other types which have failed."
New Condria

"Do you think us defeated?!" The voice boomed out, and in place of the disturbances appeared a large asteroid that hurtled towards the planetary shield at roughly 70% the speed of light, hurtling towards the planet. It was about the size of Earths moon, slightly smaller, but definitely a massive rock. The transports moved towards the planetary shield in anticipation of its destruction, save two which turned towards the Sazkarjhir fleet and flew towards them. the L'Er preparing themselves for another tactic. Then other disturbances lit up all over the system, clearly incoming reinforcements. The small number of vessels currently in system spread out in an attempt to split the enemy forces, forming a loose sphere around the enemy forces and blasting at the Sazkarjhit ships with the same devastating weaponry they had used to destroy the EU anti-matter frieghters so efficently earlier.
That image!
This is all falling into place nicely, despite the set backs...

Also, Lets stop with the meme's... As said above "Its very silly"
New Condria

The largest ship it scanned the Terran fleet as they passed through the fleet shield and then scanned the great sphere. The gravelly voice echoed out
"You will pay dearly for that..."
There was a pause as the weapons began to hit the shield... then the siege engine raised its shields, diverting power from weapoms, and moved forwards into the fleet shield... and passed through it
"Thank you, dear humans, for the key to the fleet shield. Your paths have heen mapped. Now the graves shift to offer room, a fate you will abide..."
The siege engine detonated, using the fleet shield against them as super heated plasma, innuemerable explosions and some ungodly black energy that consumed all in its path, richocheted off the fleet shield and filled it with flames and fires and death. Even if the fleet shield now failed, the reach of the explosion could be devastating... It was an obvious attempt to kill 2, or rather 700, birds with one massive stone, at the cost of the siege engine.
But the debris from the destroyed craft would almost certainly be pulled towards the planet and impact the planetary shield regardless. It was a costly move, to be sure, but one S'Luk was confident would pay off. If it could destroy even a majority of the terran Grand Fleet, the blow to morale resulting from its destruction so soon after entering the battlefield might cause a rout or at least demoralisation
"This tomb is now yours."
The four battleships advanced on the remnants of the Iscandarian and Terran fleets, aiming to try and destroy any remaining vessels they could
The voice barked out over the Sazkarjhit fleet again
"Leave now or meet their fate, our patience wears thinner by the moment!"
More disturbances appeared behind the Sazkarjhit fleet, though obviously of a different pattern of ship engine. The two cruiers investigatingbthe warping ships broke off and moved towards the disturbances...
