"Go mitosis" The Overlord ordered, and the fleets blinked as they launched to separate locations. The idea wasn't to secure the most valuable planets, it was to secure as many planets as possible. This wasn't about tech gathering, this was about tech denial, which generally would work best if you could limit what the Exogens got. The odd device that had been constructed in front of the Invictus activated "Construction Complete" The Overlord said with a grin, as his crew danced their hands over their terminals.

Dead World

"You are some form of extra dimensional being then... One who was displaced in our advance"
"You killed me"
"Your would have been given the chance to serve the greater good"
"What? Slavery of some form? Experiments? All for the greater good?" The being said, and he paused, hesitant, and opened his mouth to speak before being cut off by the being again "You walk alone, dream of home... Your memories of eons ago... Even after all this time you are one and the same, the common purpose... You still share the same mantras... 'Flesh to dust..."
"Bones to glass, energy to energy, life to death and death to life. Above all, good to all, and all to good" He finished
"How far you have strayed from those days long ago... I spoke with them, I know... And now you come to send the last of my life to death then? Now that I am too weak to defend myself? Apl these years... Just another casualty of your march"

The Overseer looked in surprise as the contact infiltrated their systems. Rather than siccing Overwatch on them, he allowed them to access the files as it seemed they were non-malignant. He tasked Overwatch with protecting mainline documents, leaving terminology and basic language functions open. He tapped a command on the terminal and spoke
"Your quick thinking is commendable." He said, as he examined the terminology they had used. Non-Necrotic had been used in the wrong place, though non-virulent was a correct usage, the contact confirming it was not of major threat. The Overseer understood enough of it "Collective confirms status: Benign, Zero (Blank), Non-Virulent"
Sanctum

The group instantly stops engaging the planet, their weaponry cutting short and broadcasts a message to the beings they had received one from, broadcasting it in several different languages just to be certain
"Apologies, we did not realise you were present. Apply..." There was a pause, before under the Overseers breath the words 'Hoc lingua non sufficere' could be heard, followed by him continuing "Identify."
The Equestrian presence was ignored for the most part, the Collective forcing it's fleet out further, as more forces set off towards Sanctum from Triarian Controlled worlds. The Invictus hovered in space, heavily defended by a number of Praetorians as something was deployed and constructed in front of it.

Dead World

"I don't understand" The lead scientist said as he took a few steps in advance.
"You never did." The thing said, casting it's sad smile towards them "You forced yourself upon Tolrial. Destroyed the culture and subjected it's people to change they were not ready for... it worked out for you in the end... but how many failed attempts have there been?"
"It was for the Greater Good"
"Of course... whatever the greater good demands" The thing said, slightly mockingly "I was a casualty of the Greater Good too... but why have you come?"

Luna

Luna was safely dropped on Equiis, and the Indespectus ship quickly leaves the system, clearly an important part of it's existence is not being seen, as they are quick to remove it from everyones eyes, the minute Luna is safely returned to the Equestrian Empire
Dead world

The landing team looked around the vast expanse of nothingness they had been told to seek out, but there was indeed, nothing. Yet they felt something, drawing them in. And then there was a voice
"You have come." The voice came, and the lead scientist stepped forwards
"We were directed here... Apply"
"You know me." It said, and then the direction of the source of the voice changed, and they spun round and saw the speaker "You killed me."

Sanctum Fleet
It had been some time before they had set off, and the fleet AI had counted every second meticulously, waiting for their arrival. And they did arrive, to the devastated ruins of the Sanctum, their eyes running over it. The new drive had done good indeed. Whoever knew that it would be a good idea to catapult yourself through a void at some billion times the speed of light, your hull barely holding at the force the 'innovative' method had subjected it to
That's because it wasn't. If they had been in this universe, the ships would have been completely obliterated, anything would have, even the precious Draconian and Aetherii vessels. It was a bold stroke of luck the laws of physics in 'slipspace' had been bent this way, or half of the ventures through it would have messed with their ships.
"Scavenge tech deemed relevant. Leave or burn the rest, depending on time constrains. Non-hostile contacts not to be engaged. Code: Inject. Mitosis. Diagnose" The Overlord ordered, and the fleet acknowledged, the vessels launching through the black of space, amongst the ruins of the once great civilisation. The overlord sighed weakly, muttering to himself "This voyage is likely for nothing, this place looks ruined." He glanced to the ships time keeping systems and frowned... That was odd...

Escourting Luna

The Dropship took them to an Indespectus class, which proceeded to take Luna back to Equiis... At a somewhat alarming rate after engaging its dimensional drive and launching them through space. Despite this, its speed was kept relatively low to prevent any accidents from occurring. Talking with the Majority of Triarii was difficult, to say the least. Being Spectre, they mostly scuttled around ensuring the ship was running to the best standard it possibly could, and only a few actually held a conversation... Though the conversations were very telling of Collective Culture, and it was apparent verbal communication was not a Spectre strongpoint. They almost relentlessly used terminology, especially when referring to anything about the Collective, and spoke in a strict and rigid order, with a form of address used at either the beginning or end. Only two of them deviated from this structure, both of whom dropped the strict structure and adopted a more social tone, but even it was laced with terminology and it appeared that they were either overly exact or overly poetic
Somewhere

"Nothing works... Why does nothing work?!" He exclaimed as he paced un front of the massive door. He sighed in frustration then turned to the door and launched a volley of Psionic attacks at it out of annoyance... Then there was a response, a resonating 'thunk' and he stepped back in surprise, before laughing at his triumph. The Argutus with him looked to the scanners "Praelatus Meus! We're getting readings!" He said, and the door rolled open. There was no visible light, so the lead scientist, recovering from the initial shock of his success, took a few steps into the room and formed a fire in front of them with his mind, but it died almost as soon as it grew, granting him only a momentary peek at the room, which appeared to be a square. He looked at it in confusion for a moment, then in shock as the room became illuminated, revealing a bridge over some black liquid, leading to a small circle island in the centre with a pedestal on, above which floated a purple orb that seemed to be the source of the light. He began to cross the bridge, and as he did he heard people calling out his name... He made it into the center of the room and took the purple orb in both hands, and as he did his eyes shot in orange and he heard two voices in his head. One was the beautiful voice the Triarii had heard before, and the other was a new, more male voice, but all the same angelic. The two spoke in unison
"You continue to unearth more, and this is no exception. Take with you this gift, and with it may seas part for you, may lighting bend knee to you and the rider take the steed once more. But beware, Triarii, with power comes a responsibility you cannot even begin to imagine. We are watching, abuse this power, and expect repercussions. You exist so far from what you think you want, and what you need even more so... You must separate the two, Triarii. Go now. Seek out this world" An image of a star map appeared in their minds, as it zoomed on a location. "Upon arrival, and through all your actions, use less logic and more empathy. You will know what to seek when you are there. What you are doing now, this... This is not your purpose!" the voice became slightly enraged, as the message faded, every Triarii pausing for a moment to consider the message. Not knowing what awaited, the lead scientist darted off to his ship, leaving a skeleton crew to examine this cave, and departed, searching, meeting up with many other craft, all searching for the world

Meanwhile, something more... Standard was underway, and Triarian vessels departed, dropping into the other universe. Their destination was the Draconian Sanctum.
Gaia Landing

They were in the heart of a city, with alien alloys of red and black composing the walls, and lakes of the odd, lava like substance flowing under bridges and in fountains, with strange alien flora growing in strict, regimentally maintained formations. It would be beautiful, if not for the hellish feel the colours gave off. and everything appeared to come to a halt as the Triarii Present nodded to the Aetherii "As you command, masters, so shall it be done". There were Civilis Protectione present, maintaining a perimeter, and hundreds of Synth Soldiers. There was a noise from overhead as a Dropship came down, the crab like synth holding a metal container which opened up, four Spectre Synth Soldiers charging off... And two of the Draconian Synths, clad in black spectre armour, weapons in hand. Spectre Corvus stepped off it, smashing his hand against his chest and lowering his head to salute the Aetherii, then Luna, before speaking and gesturing for her to approach
"Praelatus Meus, an Indespectus class is waiting." He said, as two Civilis Protectione exchanged glanced over Spectres appearance

Somewhere...

"Open it"
"Yes, Praelatus meus" The Argutus replied and he tapped commands, and the machinery they had set up sprung into action. The massive circular door had resisted Plasma, warp cannon, and impossibly, anti matter. It shouldn't be there... Indeed, sensors said it wasn't, and yet it was. The machinery grabbed at the door, energy cutters whirring, arms grabbing, blurring of energy... And when it ceased...
"No detectable change"
Somewhere...

"How old do you think it is? 10 Trillion? A hundred Trillion? Why would it be so heavily sealed, what secrets lie within..."

Primicerii meeting

They stood in silence around the holoterminal, sharing their thoughts and seeing events. Some of their thoughts leaked out in words
"...Alliance must be saved..." One 'leaked' and a second leaked his own
"Affirmed... Equiis pact is..." The second said, but then stopped short
"Wait! The masters return!" They said in unision "Dawn..."

Above Gaia

The Overseer looked in disbelief at the screen "The masters return..." He said to himself, taking a quick moment to compose himself before he danced his hands over the terminal, opening a communication "Yes, Praelatus Meus, we shall assist in the guests safe passage" He said, as the Defence Master peered over his shoulder, saucer wide eyes squinting as he examined the screen. The scans definitely showed Aetherii... The Draconians had failed...
"Aetherii... They live..." He said slowly "The Masters live..."
And Collective channels buzzed to life, the discovery eclipsing everything else. The Equiis pact, that likely would have warranted some discussion, was given merely a passing mention. The Draconian Augmentation demonstration was suddenly secondary to the observers, even the discovery on the fringes of space was mostly eclipsed
Primicerii #17, Attelus, Chamber

Attelus entered his chamber and gave a short order. The lighting dimmed as he proceeded into the room and sighed weakly, before speaking into the dark
"Hello darkness my old friend. I've come to talk with you again, because a vision softly creeping left its seed while I was sleeping. And that vision that was planted in my brain still remains, a dream so real it seemed corporeal." He said as he contemplated, proceeding across the room "In restless dreams ai walked alone... Down shattered streets of cobblestone. 'neath the halo of a battleship, my eyes were stabbed with the flash of a warring state... It split the night like a energy blade through a strand of fibre... The echoing sound of violence. And in that naked light I saw ten billion corpses maybe more. Corpses broken through hatred, festering wounds from their brothers, man, woman and child torn asunder. I turned to the soldiers that were fighting, obsessing over creed and warfare... 'Fools' said I 'You do not know... Violence like a cancer grows! Hear my words that I might teach you! Take my arms that I might reach you!' but my words, like silent raindrops fell, and were lost in the will of Violence." He paused as he gave a few commands, activating his holoterminal "Then those people bowed and prayed, to the bloodstained gods that they had made. Claiming to be pure men. Claiming those they killed were sinners .. Then some words came from afar... Carried in manners bold, and it said 'The words of their prophets advocated peace for all, and open arms... Now consumed by the will of violence'"
Above Draconian world, Current Operation Burning designation 1523

The Overseer watched as the world was glassed by Triarian vessels. Why? Simple, they were now irrelevant. The moment they became irrelevant, the Collective wanted to destroy every trace of the previous Draconian civilization. Generally, the Collective wanted to wipe away as much of the Draconians as they could, a sort of vengeance for the Draconians having wiped away the last of the Aetherii
Besides, can't have the Alpha Strain uncovering their routes.

Nova Prospekt

"Here it is." The Argutus said, as he pressed a button and revealed a creature beyond. It was a Draconian... but it wasn't at the same time. A tough Chitin had been grown in between it's scales, granting it even more protection. It's claws had been sharpened and were now poisonous. The same glands that had been implemented into the Synth Infiltrator were placed in the Draconian, allowing it to produce and spit poison. It's eyes had been enhanced through various biomechanical augmentations, and it's nervous system grafted with cybernetics. The brain had not been replaced with the processor like the original Draconians did, as the Triarii saw the weakness in this. Instead, a chip was implanted into the brain that would provide similar boosts but could be disabled without much damage to the Draconian. It's tail was now razor sharp, and the muscles on it were even more evident now. It had a second heart and enhanced lungs, as well as other augments not unlike the Saeva Simius. It looked to it's new masters, then two jumped down from the ceiling to join it, and one scuttled over the ceiling of the room as it regarded it's new owners. The High Ranked Saeva Simius with the group grinned
"That shall be good in combat" He commented, and the Umbrae Populus next to him nodded
"Indeed, I believe so." The Draconian scuttling overhead launched down and landed in front of them, raising with a grin spreading across it's face, revealing extremely sharp teeth.
"You haven't seen it in armour yet" The Argutus said with a smile, and presented yet another one, clad in highly advanced armour covering it's whole body. The Argutus gave a signal, and four Saeva Simius Auctum raised their plasma rifles and fired at the armour clad Draconian, which launched into a blur of motion, evading the plasma fire. Then stood in the open and took two shots from a plasma pistol fired by two Umbrae Populus. A shimmering shield covered him, taking the shots without any damage getting through to him
"And that's just the surface, as the humans would say, follow me and I shall provide further information",
