Now would be a good time to point out being fused with dark energy would be mutually exclusive to being biologically immortal, would it not? (I'm thinking you mean having turned them into beings of energy, if not I apologise)
And how would infusing someone with an unstable substance produce biological immortality? Surely it would shorten their life span, since it is so volatile

So, how does this infusing work?
Makudan

The Triarian Collective has sarcastically congratulated the Makudan on their "Brilliant internal security", "Exceptionally well controlled expansion" their "Excellent track record for mercy" and finally their "Certainly not overzealous and self destructive response". It isn't hard to notice the hypocrisy of the Triarian comments, considering the collective its self destroys entire ecosystems on a daily basis

Colony 257

"Human Overlord Mclain.. When this is over we shall need to discuss the Draconian one of your ships was carrying." The overseer said over the communications, before tapping a few commands"Power up the energy projector again... Allow us to see how they well their seeds will work with Carbon Monoxide" He ordered, and the officer nodded
"Affirmative... Sir, EA bases detected under water. We can only destroy the ice caps"
"Sufficent" he replied, and then the ship moved over the planets ice caps, firing the energy projector oj a low setting into it. The beam excited the atoms, breaking the bonds in the water as it melted to reduce it to its base components... The hydrogen exploded under the heat, and by the time the energy projector finished at each Ice mass, which was proportionate to the amount of water but took no longer than a few minutes, there was no water remaining and the land around it was irradiated and scorched to glass.
released oxygen was also split under the heat, and bonded with the carbon that had been trapped below the worlds icecaps to form Carbon Monoxide. As anyone with even a rudimentary understanding of biology knows, with most organisms Carbon Monoxide tends to bind when used in respiration but refuse to unbind. This made is poisonous to many different creatures that relied on breathing.
Essentially, the Collective just tried to poison the air against the seeders as well, possibly starving the seeds...
On top of this they had put into action a chain of events by increasing the levels of greenhouse gases exponentially... The overseer knew that it would require terraforming to return the planet to normal after this, but he would rather have to reterraform the planet than watch it given to an enemy...
Of course, if this failed and he engaged Endgame, then everything on the planet would be obliterated... A climbing scale of destruction. He didn't want to do it if he could avoid it
The checkpoints around the plaza locked, both a physical block of metal and a hardlight shield activating. The unit standing on the APC flew backwards as he was impacted by the fireball, barely managing to curse in Selkatha before he was hit. The two units at the foot of it moved quickly, one rushing to drag his injured comrade behind cover while the other clamboured into the APC. The majority of ground units in the plaza weren't that hard to take by suprise in the confusion... That was except two who were armed with guns as well as their batons, who backed away and took aim, firing a few hard light shots at Shelkar, before using their weapons toe sure that the rebelling individuals couldnt reach them... Some citizens tried to assist the Civilis Protections, including a mage who rushed to the unit who had been hit by the fire ball to see whether he could help, but most ran to the plazas designated inspection positions and awaited instructions
The electroshock batons the rebels stole had several different settings available, but that didn't change them from being a close combat weapon. This made reaching the armed Civilis protections unfeasible, and since they had overwatch on the most direct route to the shipyard, which probably had checkpoint upon checkpoint licked down by now, the would be refugees would have to find another way around, likely by cutting through Residential block 41 building 4c, thus escaping the plaza and onto the street known to the locals as Kurto street, street 481A to use its formal designation. From Kurto Street, they could enter the shipyard through the nearby minor processing facility. They might be have been attentive enough to have discovered beforehand that its side entrance and shipyard access biolocks were disabled, for unknown reasons, yet its other biolocks were working... Presumably, the biolocks were faulty or defective, but as they had not yet been replaced, it could provide a sufficient path for the refugees. But in doing so, they would have to brave the units assigned to the facility, and be careful not to awaken any units that were being processed
They would have to be fast, however, because it would not take long for overwatch to remove their permissions to the Kyn restricted biolocks, completely trapping them on the Plaza
Nano

It wasn't long before the vocoder of a Civilis Protectione unit could be heard... Two in fact
"10-20 Oir Square, Green, Low citizen activity. " One reported, and the two continued forwards into the Square
"Think you'll get promoted after what happened last night" The second asked, and the first quickly replied
"Chances are good..." The Two glanced up as a scanner, moved over head, beeping as it examined the area, flying down to the group of citizens and watching them for a moment, before turning and heading up again, there were several cameras overlooking the square, all built into the walls of massive buildings for habitation... This was a habitation world after all, its main purposes were to provide housing
The low activity report of the Civilis Protectione unit was somewhat deceptive, there were hundreds moving through the city square, but for a habitation world this was barely anyone. Most were eating, given the time, and others were at home... Collective day was tommorow, after all, and some had been lucky enough to get today free of work too.
Yet the Civilis Protectione knew no rest. It took a lot of dedication to belong to them. Long hours, working on holidays, many, many codes and regulations to learn as well. It was an arduous job, but there were those who could handle it. There were less of them than usual in the plaza, two ground protectione teams split into two man pairs each, and a single, sleek black apc parked with two officers standing talking, and one standing on the side of the apc, surveying the plaza. Overhead passed many ships, heading to the Equitem guarded shipyard. Overwatch spoke reminders and information...
Off the plaza came residential buildings, recreational buildings... It was very much an important social hub for the city... And almost all the buildings had bio locks, with checkpoints on every way to and from the square, hard light bridges, suspended holographic information screens, self changing buildings, energy doors and much more. In the center was a monument, parts of it suspended in the air by noe visual means, yellowy orange and dark, near black, blue lines streaking its silvery form, creating beautiful patterns. Like everything Collective this had a practical purpose too, doubling as a defensive anti air structure in a conflict projecting the same dark energy that formed the patterns into the sky. And this was just an outer world
The Triarian ships in orbit return to attacking the seeders. It becomes clear to them destroying the seeds is a waste of time, the blasted ships keep dropping them... They'll deal with the ships first, and remove the seeds afterwards... Seeing how many have turned up to protect the world, maybe they wouldn't need to use Endgame after all... Good, it was not exactly thrilling to destroy all life on a planet
"The irony is hardly bearable"

Colony 257

One of the phase tanks enter one of the seeder ships, and then unphased. The antimatter charge that had been strapped to it detonated deep within the bowels of the seeder ship

" Soul of Hatred reporting. I have discerned the energy of the biological organisms aboard my escortee. They have a Draconian among them." The voice of the soul of h
atreds shipmaster echoed over the ships communications, and the Overseer gave a small smile
"They thought they could hide it from us" He said, shaking his head slowly
"Praelatus meus, the EA forces have no withdrew their forces from the world. If the exogen ships land and we engage endgame..."
"Then they shall burn with the planet."
"... Yes, praelatus meus... Unnatural energy fluctuation detected at..."
"Affirmative, my optical buds perceive it... Its dangerous, if it attacks, amputate."
"Haha... It doesn't have a prayer at engaging use sir" Another officer said as he tapped a few commands "If it does, we shall see how it fares being fused with a phase assault platform"

The second phase tank turned, zipping across space towards the strange 'woman thing', and slowed as it reached her, its Iris closed slightly, tracking its eye between the being and the ball before her. The officer on the bridge watched, ready to give the amputate order if required
"Sensor array can no longer pick up biotic signals from human ship" A bridge officer reported and the Overser frowned and pulled up the sensors, rubbing his chin
"Recalibrate and try again, must be a sensor error..." He watched the view screen and cursed, transmitting a message to the humans "I shall inform the Truth ie Subjective that he is no longer required to transport you then.... Advise you stop dropping forces on the planet, they are going to keep firing those pods and they are releasing a lethal foreign substance that blocks breathing apparatus, I doubt you have an oxygen supply to last forever" He reported, tapping a few commands on the terminal to close the transmission "Order the Soul of hatred to get close to the human vessel... I want to know what is on board that's so important. And prepare Endgame."
"Yes Praelatus meus" The officer said, and the Overseer tapped a button, sending a message yet again
"The Soul of Hatred is moving to escourt you to your fleet, Parem Habui"

The Soul of Hatred turned and zipped to the vessel, stopping less than 400 meters to the side of it, blocking it from the view of the seeders ships and moving at the same speed as it.On board, its shipmaster pulled up a view screen to examine the human vessel, and his eyes began to glow a dull orange as he did.

The Triarian ships watched the Seeders approached and then just vanished, before reappearing, having jumped to the other side of the planet. From the Aquilifer, two phase tanks were launched, activating their phase generators and flying towards one of the seeder ships that was heading towards the EA fleet.

Any time one of the seeder ships began to approach the Triarian ships, they would activate their trans dimensional drives and make another jump across system, sort of playing a 3D piggy in the middle with them. The flagship of the fleet approached the planet and began to power its energy projector to the highest level, but didn't fire. It was preparing for the worst, but the worst hadn't happened yet, the enemy had no invaded on land yet. Instead, it fired plasma at the seeds as they landed
The overseer turned his head as he listened to the message, and tapped a command on the holoterminal, opening communications "Status, Parem Habui?" He inquired, his eyes closing slightly, "If your current vessel is not interstellar capable, then the the 'Truth is Subjective' is willing to provide transportation." He stated, tapping a few commands as he watched the ship of the new contact. He knew exactly how to deal with this mess...

Colony 257

The Collective forces moved the Psionic amplifier out into the open, and in a flash it vanished, along with the organic forces. The mech soldiers powered down the shield and the remaining equipment, and in a flash they were gone too, leaving only the teleportation device, that was completely obliterated a few moments later by an explosion of anti matter. The Aquilifer passed over the assembly walker, and the same beam came down, lifting the assembly walker from the floor and into the ship. The Phase tanks and remaining air units flew up to the Aquilifer, while the ground units dashed into the beam
Broadcast to the Equiis forces
"Advise you abandon the planet to this contact pull all of your forces off. We have a plan, do not fear.
"Praelatus meus, foreign substance detected... unknown substance, lethal... Fungi, estimated destruction of current biological life: 99.3812031849283381048129182937%"
"I see. Turn the shielding to Hardlight, keep those spores out of our defensive position. Begin exfiltration of all biological forces outside the shielding, get the assembly walker moving to destroy that unknown fungi. Move the Evocatus that is engaging the Equestrians to fire low power energy projector beams to cauterise the infection immediately. Code: Cauterise, Stabilise, Extract 9s"
"Yes, Praelatus Meus"

Colony 257

There is a flash of the shield around the psionic amplifier, the colour changing from blue to red. This 'hardlight shield' prevents anything from moving through it, and the Aerial Synths quickly zoom into the air, boarding the Aquilifer as it enters the planet. The Triarian inside the Psionic Amplifer changes it from being used as a mind control beacon, and begins to use it to focus his pyrokinetic abilities on as many of the incoming seeds and their produce as possible, as well as using it to induce kinetic energy to force the strange airborne substance away from Collective forces and civilian population centers... to do so, he directs as much of it as possible towards the hardlight shield, as all life surrounding it is already dead... with the exception of the Equiis pact forces, whom he transmits a Psionic message to. The message was simple. "Run". The Triarii who had been working on something at the entrance quickly begin to reverse all the work they had done
Dropships deploying organic forces, except true synth types who are assumed to be immune, quickly return, and organic forces from the planet are quickly extracted... The carrier passes over the downed habitation walker, and a massive reverse gravity funnel comes out of it and the Habitat walker and it's associated parts are sucked up into the cargo hold of the Aquilifer carrier. The Assembly walker fires it's Dark Energy caster at the 'Seeds' as they land, obliterating entire area's of the landscape, and one of the Evocatus ships flies low, it's energy projectors on low power, burning the 'seeds' as they land, irradiating the area approximately a mile around each shot. The mech forces and true synths change their focus to the 'seeds', but large numbers of the smaller ones are taken off planet as quickly as possible anyway. The smaller ships moved into the planet and begin to fire at the 'seeds' with their plasma weaponry.

The Phase tanks stop their attacks, and dropships instead came down, each with a mech soldier, offering CPZ, Military, Equiis pact and anyone else who is unfortunately enough to find themselves on the planet a lift into orbit. They inform all natives that they can return to their planet as soon as the threat is eliminated... though it's doubtful anyone will take the offer of the faction that just tried to murder everyone, it is worth a try. The returning to the planet is partly a lie. The Collective doesn't estimate high chances of success with their tactic of removing the seeds, it's a delaying tactic to evacuate as much as they can from the planet.
The overseer frowned as he heard the uncivilised message, then shook his head. Such idiocy, how could they not understand war was not the way forwards? And such a hypocrite. Of course, they had foreseen this. As for this new contact, why bother fighting it? If the holier-than-thou Equestrians were to ignore it, why shouldn't he? It wasn't worth the sacrifice to destroy them, then. He pressed a button and transmitted a message back

"Hypocritical exogen, Your actions are nonsensical applied to your goals. You care not for others suffering, else you would not encourage bloodshed and evil. You do not see what lies ahead when the stars have failed and the children are dead. There is only greed in you. We pity you."

He tapped another button and sent a message to the ground forces "Protect the beacon. It is the only way to end this battle without a river of blood. We shall remove it once peace is established, until then we will fight and we will die to protect it. Axios!"
A bridge officer turned to him and spoke "I always fought the Equestrians would be helping us."
"The Equestrians are a populist movement, they don't always understand that sometimes what the people want isn't always the best option"
"Indeed, but in this case why do they do it?"
"Obviously they think the 'oppressive trinity' can't be removed without destroying a few trillion lives along the way. Typical Exogen beliefs."

Colony 257...

The balefire megaspells impacted with the habitat walker, and one of it's legs were blown clean off, causing it to collapse down, immobolised. It's energy projector was no longer functioning, but it's other weaponry was online, and it was making that known, using the warp cannons on forces that were being brought down from space. The spell came down towards the Assembly walker, which turned and fired its dark energy caster. The Dark Energy met with the spell in the air, causing both to detonate overhead. The resulting explosive eclipsed the sky for a moment, and burnt with the brightness of a sun. The Assembly walker turned and stomped off towards the Psionic Amplifer...
The final spell smashed into the shield around the psionic amplifer, but it slid around the shield, devastating surrounding terrain but leaving everything under the shield intact...
Now it was the Collectives turn.
One of the evocatus entered the atmosphere, and powered up it's energy projector on low power, before dragging it across the enemy forces that approached the psionic amplifier, the area for miles around being scorched and uninhabitable, turned to glass. There was something else within the shield, something giving off immense energy signatures... then there was a flash and there were more Collective forces within, digging in and preparing the area for combat. The beacon it's self sat inside a cave atop a mountain, and the shield was set up so that forces could shoot out but not in, allowing Collective snipers to shoot enemy hostiles without fear of returning fire. Turrets were set up all around the area...
A division of Aerial Synth soldiers shot out of the shield, firing at their opponents forces. Behind them came gunships, which fired warp cannons into the enemy ranks. Attack, after attack, after attack. Energy projector shots from the evocatus, Hardlight, Dark Energy, warp cannons...
There was a chasm surrounding the shield now, as a result of the megaspell, and with a single land bridge crossing it A team Aerial Synth soldiers moved to the bridge...
As if in spite to the Equestrians actions, the Triarian ships broke off from attacking the seeder ships and moved down to the planet... the evocatus flagship hovered for a moment, before vanishing and coming out on the far side of the planet, seemingly leaving the battle.

At the entrance to the cave containing the Psionic Amplifier, two Triarii worked as fast as they could to arrange something

The phase tanks split into two groups. 60 of them hovered into the air, then turned, their 'wings' changing slightly before they launched across towards the beacon, thirty activating their phase generators and thirty not having done so. Upon arrival, the thirty attacked the enemy as those with phase generators moved up towards space, heading towards the Equestrian ships. The remaining 40 also activated their phase generators and passed straight through the defences of the colonial militia base, literally going straight through anything which tried to stop them, as if they were ghosts. Once inside, thirty of them disabled their phase generators, while another ten kept them enabled for now. All the phase tanks started to attack, broadcasting a message to the base to lay down their arms

There was a pulse from the Psionic amplifier as it activated, and began to attack the minds of the people on the planet. At first, it was barely noticeable... voices whispering in your head, urging you give up... they spoke quietly and softly... That would change soon enough...
