I don't think the Dracs had much data on Triarian Standard, they rarely communicated and when they did it was mostly the same sort of robotic military sentences

How can you have just detected someone and have been observing them? And weren't most of the Drac records stolen/destroyed ay the end of the War
So how do they know the language?
"Denied, this center is neutral territory, your claim of sovereignty is not recognised. Confirm: Malignant or Benign." A Message came back in Triarian followed by a string of words in another language "Lara Kara Para-Sara Muma"

The galactic core still had a small presence of automated Triarian scavenger ships, which had long since cleaned up the debris from the antimatter rings and what was left of the vessels. They had been using the debris to construct a space station of some kind, which had most systems constructed but its body wasn't complete.
Their mission had begun less than a year ago, and the machines had made slow progress as they had to make the parts after melting the scraps
The new contact was seemingly ignored, save for a single drone which flew towards it, before turning and zipping back to the half constructed space station
Half a minute later a Triarian Patrol, consisting of two hastati and a princeps, appeared in system, responding to the message sent by the drones
The ships moved forwards slightly and examined the new contact, but didn't do anything as of yet

I feel the need to point this out
Universe refers to all space. There are not multiple universes to fly between. You could move between universes in breaking a barrier and moving into a parallel one, provided they exist, but there is only one universe in our universe. Also, if you did break between universes, you wouldn't be covering any galaxies as a result of what I mentioned before

Duck, several things myself
The Selkath Seperatists joined the collective about 80 years ago now. You imply magical knowledge was gained by the Equestrians by essentially studying and experimenting. Well, that's 80 years experience and more on top of that from their time with the Equestrians, they might not be the best but I think they will know enough to be useful in a military role (And definitely know enough for what the Collective wants to use them for)
Your understanding is clearly not extensive. They all have the potential to do it, the same way all could potentially stop lasers and other attacks. How come Triarii still get killed by lasers and can still be killed by magical attacks? The laws of conservation of energy. The energy they are manipulating has to go somewhere, it doesn't just disappear. It gets transferred through their nervous system and transferred back out (they are able to store smaller amounts of energy, which is obviously needed to conduct their ability)
Now, stopping a single laser is one thing, how about stopping half a dozen? As with all energy transfers there is waste energy. The more energy, the more waste. So that's the first problem, high amounts of waste energy inside the body could easily upset the bodies internal homeostasis and thus the enzymes would cease functioning correctly. The second problem is the energy its self. If you pass 200000 through a industrial power cable it will hold, if you pass 10000000 through it it will melt and fry. If you fry your nervous systems you are fucked. Their nervous system was almost entirely restructured when they were in service to the Aetherii so they would have a better chance of passing energy through their bodies and surviving. Their muscle was decreased to allow waste energy to transfer to the outside quicker, their large eyes linked to the nervous system so waste energy could be deposited out (That's one of the reasons for the glow, escaping light energy) and their enzymes were modified heavily, working at a wider range of temperatures (but much less efficient, though this isn't too much of a problem since they can absorb energy and so have a reduced reliance on consumption. Obviously they still need minerals and vitamins too, so its not completely removed. Their reliance was instead weighted towards drinking, given the liquid on Triarius that contains a large number of minerals) Their original form was not as frail, it became so out of necessity to accommodate the power of the psionics they got from the Aetherii
The energy transfer is why Equitem planning to rely heavily on their abilities work in teams, that way they can share the energy between them, reducing the strain on each individual and thus allowing them to utilise their abilities on a grand scale. The Primicerii don't just link themselves in the meetings to boost their strength, its to deal with the excess and the strain from receiving and sending several trillion signals.
