Current Sleep? No, I don't need to sleep.

Bio

You want to know about me, huh? Well, I am a type 0 super luminous star as classified by the Yerkes Spectral classification system. Now, I know it seems impossible that a star can type on a computer but I don't care about that. I've been roleplaying for roughly four years now. I tend to stick to my fantasy, sci-fi, and anime roleplays but have been known to go beyond that. I am comfortable playing both male and female roles. I have no posting schedule but do tend to be more active in the afternoon and on weekdays. I live in Central Time Zone (UTC-06:00) for those who are wondering.

And thus Xavier comes to Cynric's rescue. Only to become entangled in a two on one battle while giving Cynric a respite from the heavy beating he would have experienced.
Xavier was quick to throw his sword and shield to the ground as one of the heavies, a man of about six feet tall, came rushing towards him. The large man tried to ram Xavier to the ground but instead ended up hitting the ground as Xavier stepped to the side while slamming his elbow into the man's back. Xavier felt a stab of pain in his elbow as the thick metal plating of the heavy's back smashed into the weak plating at Xavier's right elbow. The heavy was quickly back up as Xavier realized when he felt the man's leg sweep under him. Xavier quickly fell to the ground with an audible thud as the man moved to stomp Xavier in the chest. As the man brought his leg down, Xavier grabed his foot and rolled to his left. As Xavier rolled on the ground, the heavy became unbalanced and fell.

Both the men were on the ground as they traded blow for blow. Xavier landed a blow to the weak plating at the man's ribs and his jaw as the man slammed his fist into Xavier's back. The other heavy finally broke Xavier's grip on him by pushing him at the elbow joints. Xavier was finally able to get a breath of air as he stood up to face his opponent. The man was obviously injured but Xavier was sure he also had a broken rib or two. The brief respite gave time for Xavier to realize that one of the mages, Cynric as Xavier believed he was called, was about to get in a brawl with a heavy. The man who had advanced on Cynric was slammed in the back of the head by Xavier's heavy hand. The opposing heavy rose from the ground on shaky legs as Xavier was surrounded by the tight grip of the heavy who had been fighting Xavier earlier. Xavier battled against the grip of the heavy as the man who he had knocked to the ground punched him in the chest multiple times.
Rargh! And thus I post.
Xavier bore a look of frustration at having to stand in the group of vagabonds and drunkards. Almost all of them were hoping to be assigned to a squad and many of them were likely to. But, the thought of serving with many of these people disgusted Xavier. His training told him that many of these men were likely to be common criminals and would die should they face a trained army. Xavier was waiting for his name to be called when he felt a man's hand slam against his back. Xavier's first reaction was to grab his sword when his hand was interrupted on its way to the hilt.

"Whoa man, don't go waving that about in a crowd like that. You will cause an all out brawl if you do that. It is just me." says the voice from behind him as it moved to face him. To Xavier's surprise, it was his father. The old man of now fifty was gruff from the long years of his life. "I.. how did you know I would be here? More so how did you know I was even alive? I have been gone for so long, you and mother should have thought me dead by now." Xavier said to his father with a look of worry. There was brief silence before Xavier's father started to answer. "I.. did think you were dead. But when I came here to bring a shipment of weapons and armor in to the Fifth Echelon. I thought to ask around about you and heard that you had signed up. I just came to say that .." his father was saying when he was interrupted by the recruiter.

Xavier heard his name called and looked over at his father. "I have to go. I will come back home whenver I have leave, I promise." Xavier says as he walks away towards the group of men and women gathering at the crate. He was deep in thought through most of the time the group walked to the tavern and barely payed attention to what everybody said. When the others were finally done, Xavier took a swig of his ale and readjusted in his tight seat. The ale tasted like it was mixed with sewer water and the tavern was made for people of smaller sizes so Xavier decided to stand up instead.

"Well, my name is Xavier Hawthorne. I was born in Surra, more importantly the city of Banth. My father was a blacksmith and I was his apprentice from when I was nine to when I was sixteen. I left Banth and ended up in Gond. I was poor and lacked a job until I was accepted into the City Guard. I left Gond when I was twenty-seven. Let me just show you why I left." Xavier said as he pulled his left hand gauntlet off. Underneath was a mark of a circle with intertwined bands of vines that formed a capital a. "In Gond, this means I assaulted one to many people. Truth is, I did my job and they hated outsiders so I took the heaviest blows from them. Afterwards, I traveled through much of Tysus as a sellsword and came to the Alabaster City on promise of payment for a job done. Let's just say that he will not be alive if I meet him again." Xavier says as he finishes his statement. He grabed a pin which is rusted and dented on one in where the crescent of the moon bent under and attached it to the cloth from which his sword hung from.
And thus I bring into life our second heavy. I am sure the mages should be happy now.

Name: Xavier Hawthorne

Age: 32

Sex: Male

Height:6'4"

Squad Role: Heavy

Appearance:

Origin: Surra

Background:Xavier's life wasn't an easy one in the town of Banth. His father crafted weapons and armors for warriors and inducted his son into the buisness early. By the time that Xavier was sixteen, he had been taught how to forge weapons ranging from a simple iron dagger to an iron zweihander. Yet, Xavier felt the call of adventure and asked his father if he could leave to see other kingdoms. When Xavier's father told him no, Xavier took flight with a bundle of equipment his father had crafted. Life steadily became worse for Xavier as he traveled from Banth to Gond, the capital city of Gond.

When the battered, beaten and almost starving Xavier arrived in Gond, he was faced with a lack of food and housing. The streets of Gond were not a kind place for the young male. The rare hand outs and odd jobs that Xavier worked barely allowed him to pay for food. Xavier finally managed to find a job as a guard. Xavier went through a month worth of training before he was allowed to even guard the walls of Gond. Xavier faced little battle and did nothing more than arrest the occasional theif. He advanced slowly through the ranks of the guards until he reached the position of sergeant.

After reaching the rank of sergeant, Xavier faced heavy prosecution for being an outsider. There was a time when Xavier was charged with assault while arresting a man who caused a bar fight, the punishment was a brand put on his left hand. The distictive brand forever marked Xavier as a criminal and forced him out of Gond with nothing more than a few pieces of silver to his name and a set of armor and a long sword. The twenty-seven year old warrior wandered out of the enclosed lands of Gond and traveled through Tysus for a few years. Xavier was working as a salesword for anybody who would pay him the most.

It was by fate that Xavier came to the Alabaster City. His last 'master' had payed him half the amount after hireing him and the last half was to be payed to him when he came to the Alabaster City. Yet, when Xavier showed up, the man who hired him had never shown up. It was just an accident when Xavier stumpled upong the Fifth Echelon's booth.

Skills:
-Xavier can craft and repair certain weapons and armors.
-Xavier is somewhat good with a sword and shield
-He is good at rating the quality of weapons and armor.

Reason for joining the Fifth Echelon: Xavier joined the Fifth Echelon because he found its gurantee of payment agreeable. That and he wanted to find out more about other portions of the world.

Other information:
Xavier has wiwth him a simple shield and iron forged sword.

All contradictions aside, I am now stuck with the slight issue of writers block. I am trying to decide between a sapper or a marine but I can't find a picture that would fit a proper sapper nor a background which I find interesting enough to make a proper marine.

Whatchu talking bout there's only one healer?

I realize that but, it is more than likely that we could have more coming at any point in time. Plus, our group shouldn't need too many healers considering our size. One is enough. I also consider healers to be practically the same as any other mage.

Anyway, quick question. Would it be possible to be both a sapper and a mage with the control over the shadow warren? Considering that a sapper is practically a ranged fighter they wouldn't be in danger quite as often as a Marine of Heavy.
I notice we have way too many mages and healers. I will begin making a sapper soon enough. Although I was pulled to the appeal of the different gods and being I mage, I just can't see us having more than three magic users. An extra heavy would be useful but a squad should always have that person they can rely on to infiltrate the enemy base.
Well, I am going probably going to have Jodi get lost in the first paragraph then transition to a few paragraphs of her observing the staff of the aft med bay and then finish of with some internal narrative. But, first I need to ask the most important question. What kind of medical equipment do we have? I know that the equipment will be pretty advanced but do we have things such as the reviving pods in Starship troopers? I would expect that a machine like that might exist on a smaller scale(but it doesn't revive you).
Oh lord I hope I am not late. This adventure seems so large it is hard to not get invested in it.
