There are two sniper's nests mentioned, Changeling was already taking care of one as well and Rin was using helping with it rather than taking it on alone as part of her introductory/re-introductory post which she really needs. So...you're kind of cutting off people's chances to post all around unless there's a third I forgot...sorry for being a grumpy killjoy but yeah...making up challenges for yourself to defeat and autohitting them into dust while then taking their explosive weapons and hitting every other enemy area of the map...kinda meh, but...I'll let the GM consider it before mentioning anything further, without getting into the making a metahuman for yourself to fight issue.

You could just fight at street level since there's plenty to do there, y'know...

If you really have to be cool specifically by jumping to the roof and taking out a sniper's nest, do Strix's before he gets to do anything I guess and I'll have him go find something else to do. Since I'd rather have mine hogged than Rin's character's and changeling's.
Um...Dead Cruiser, should you reallyrandomly introduce a metahuman into the training exercise by yourself and take on a sniper's nest by yourself when my character was already involved in it? and resolve your attacks on the NPC snipers yourself when my character was trying to do something?
edited out.
I too have returned and should be around more consistently
I'm not saying attacks should never hit a character, if someone's specifically being a Marty Stu and never getting hit when they could have afforded to take a hit for dramatic tension or such and they just decide "My character's too awesome to ever get hit" and godmodes through everything, sure auto-hit them a little. But moderation's still key in everything and you have to work with the player and know what kind of damage crosses over from "build tension and make things more exciting/dangerous" to "potentially permanently crippling or killing someone's character" and stressing them out over it maybe.

I think most of the time at least, you should trust your players to react appropriately and decide how/if their characters get hit.

I'd also like to point out that there's nothing stopping people from picking up the enemy's weapons. Those non-lethal armaments should satisfy any silly moral codes your characters may have about using firearms :P

Okay, I don't want to make too big a deal out of this, but dismissing potentially defining character traits of some of the PCs as 'silly moral codes' is...kind of dumb from certain points of view. For example with Strix it's not lethality from firearms that makes him really dislike using them. They're a symbol of his parents' deaths and everything that's wrong with the world to him. The lethal or non-lethal nature wouldn't make a difference and calling it a 'silly moral code' is kind of meh. That said I was debating whether the grenade launchers would be different enough that he'd consider using one...

Um, wait, uh...Blast Girl has personal gravity manipulation. Without getting into how she could have made herself heavier to prevent from even being picked up again in the first place, um, well... she could easily have made herself lighter again after being thrown so that she didn't crash through safety glass and a counter.... Honestly I don't know what to do now because she would've done one of those things and without doing those things she's either seriously injured or dead...

...That's kind of a bigger problem though. One or two of your GM posts at least have involved auto-hitting the PCs which...is kind of bad for reasons similar to this.

Sorry for the criticisms, I haven't slept for a long while but this stuff's been bothering me.
I just kind of find a lot of what he did in the OP to be kind of iffy in terms of politeness for RPs but I'm letting it slide and I don't want to make a big deal out of this stuff. No real harm so all's forgiven although I'm not sure how 'interrogate Luthor' involves Maximus, if you could explain that'd be good.

and yeah NicNak if you could try to work on formatting/capitalizing/punctuation and all that jazz a little more it would make reading and understanding your posts and such a lot easier. I don't mean to be a grammar nazi either, it just saves time and makes things nicer.

As for Batman ignoring that stuff...um...I don't think he would, could the Lex stuff maybe be happening at a different time or...something? I just don't feel like it's in-character for Batman to ignore a major threat to Earth and agree with earlier mentioned stuff a bit...but hmm...
Well yeah but I can understand Rin feeling frustrated and again, while IC it makes sense, recognizing that the intensity level seems a bit off for some people OOC seems pretty valid. Now that I'm back around I'll try and be helpful coming up with stuff too

Edit: Actually if she saw that Strix was having trouble taking out the sniper's nest, she could use the Tindalos Teleportation thingy to get in close and help him hit the sniper's nest close up, specifically. Which would make sense since they know each other previously maybe.
Um...Nicnak, did you get approval on that bio yet? Also I know you definitely didn't get approval from me yet as Batman's player to try and integrate yourself into the scenario Vita and I are playing out since I've been offline for a long time so..yeah

Also other than 'funded by Lex Luthor" it...kinda seems like he's an OC without any connections to the DCU in any format but that's less important.
Well yeah but the course is kind of designed so that it's REALLY difficult for anyone with mainly melee ability to do much at this point and honestly I feel like it is being a little excessive...
