No! It must be extremely convoluted and involve magic tricks, deception and illusion! somehow!
Ooh! If the barrier's not magic then I have a further plan maybe!
Wondering how to get Naoto separated from the group.
I don't think it was too far to assume when your response to my saying I didn't want to do anything that might result in fatalities was basically "Why do you care about that when it would let us win."

Secondly, your plan assumes highly trained, disciplined and experienced superheroes who were specifically selected both for this exercise and to train the people participating in it in the future would fall for what's nearly the oldest trick in the book and wouldn't just say, stop when you tried to get them to hit each other or literally anything else.
He may or may not attack them as a test.
I WANT to not kill people who are actually League members meant to train us and also not get disqualified when we were specifically told by Pariah to do all of this non-lethally. Just because you want to do everything in the most ridiculously dark, overly 90's-anti-hero style doesn't mean the rest of us have to or even should.
I'll try and post shortly but I might get interrupted. Also Prospero's having SO MUCH FUN!~ XD
Strix almost smacked a gloved hand to his forehead as the explosives went off behind him. Of course, things were never that simple with this sort of thing. He would have to make some adjustments to the Echo System and his suit's scanning capabilities when this was all over to avoid being so easily tricked like that again, but for now it was time to focus.

Several layers of defense had sprung up around the bus that was their objective, so most likely they would need a well-planned assault to push through it and seize the day. Considering he'd already boxed himself in as a de-facto 'leader' to some of these people without thinking about it he figured he might as well keep going in that vein, so he started moving into a position for the people he immediately needed to hear and see him.

"I need Magnetar to help our steel friend over there throw his weight around. If you want targets I'd suggest the one throwing electricity around. If it's done right he could be a lightning rod for a lot of incoming fire before he crashes. After that use him to bludgeon whomever you want. The Diamond lady seems durable, but try not to hit her with him too hard, we don't want to strike a vulnerability and shatter her.. Apogee, go in hard and fast to take down the giant at the front. He's doubtlessly one of those big, takes-hits-like-a-mountain types but I'm thinking you're just as strong and durable and twice as fast. If you finish up with him or the opportunity presents itself, see if you can do that ice breath trick Zenith does to freeze up the elastic man who turned himself into a net. Elasticity decreases when exposed to cold, he'll become brittle, slow and ineffective Morph, if you're one of those shapeless slime-beings who gets stronger from contact with water then I recommend taking on the one sending out waves of the stuff, but if you might get washed away then target the one throwing chunks of the sidewalk. Physical trauma doesn't seem like it will be an issue for you. Plasmus, the heat from condensed blasts of plasma should counteract the ice shooters attacks nicely, but keep it non-lethal. Bullseye and Red Eye, either help with crowd control on these henchmen or help with the human flamethrower! Now Move!"

Strix was going to have to have a very serious talk about authority with Pariah later.
Um...considering we're not looking to kill these people, some of those would achieve frankly terrible results. Larger body is also likely to come with increased durability, which somewhat nullifies the over-simplified 'bigger target' approach.
Role: The Esper

Name: Isamu Gorai

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Appearance: This

Personality: Isamu likes to project the image of a carefree, maybe slightly ditzy or bumbling high school student who doesn't take anything seriously. While he'd really like that to be all there is to him, the truth is that it's all just an act while his true nature is that of a serious guardian against the supernatural who finds himself heavily burdened by his powers. The ability to sense memories of the past through objects can overwhelm him without careful precautions, and sensing people's emotions at will has made him somewhat of a jaded person. Isamu's knowledge that there are things out there that most people can't explain or sense only adds to his sense of burden and isolation, and while he acts as though photography and journalism are his life's passions he also sees them as a necessary tool to put himself in a position to monitor anything paranormal or unusual due to his powers.

Brief Backstory: Isamu first manifested his powers at around five years old, but after telling his parents about seeing other people's memories and being treated by several doctors of varying types he learned not to mention them. Instead he pretended to throw himself into an ordinary yet happy school and home life while keeping an eye out for any sort of information on the paranormal or things beyond ordinary understanding. In order to try and prepare himself for any eventuality and also just for the sake of discipline and control he started taking up various martial arts. Even when it came time to join school clubs, he picked the photography and journalism clubs, to put himself in a position to hear and potentially investigate any unusual news that might link back to his powers or the paranormal.

Skills: Aside from his powers Isamu is a very skilled martial artist for his age in both armed and unarmed styles. In addition Isamu is a decent photographer and journalist. He likes to cook as he says it relaxes him, though he somehow manages to do most of his cooking while entirely wearing oven mitts.

Abilities: Isamu is an ESPer, a human with psychic powers. Specifically he has psychometry, Empathy and the ability to sense and analyze monsters and supernatural beings. Psychometry allows him to feel the past and memories by touching objects with his hands, though he often can't get a complete read on things and usually has to wear gloves to avoid being overwhelmed. Psychic Empathy lets him sense the emotions of others even if they're trying to keep them hidden, though he has to consciously focus to use it and can only read the feelings of one person at a time. Finally Isamu can sense the presence of monsters and supernatural beings, and if he takes pictures of them with a camera of any sort, the resulting photo will give him a sort of analysis of them.

Archetype: Hephaestus, which allows Isamu to make various weapons and fix or sometimes 'upgrade' things. Although the weapons and changes he makes to objects only last for a short while, he can even make much weaker copies of mythical or legendary weapons.
