"Why am I the one being blamed?! It's not like I knew there'd be a crazy punishment game right afterwards or anything! I'm pretty sure I said they probably went home too..." For reasons beyond his comprehension, Prospero was now dangling upside down and trying not to get his cape tangled up in his face. It probably would have been better to release the clasp on it, but he'd already suffered the indignity of losing his hat to this exercise and he wasn't about to give in so easily. Luckily being suspended for extended periods had been standard practice for several different tricks and acts growing up, or he'd have fainted almost immediately. As things stood now the most pain he'd had was to his ego although he had a distinct feeling that his face was turning slightly red behind today's half-mask in a way that had nothing to do with his the lack of justice in this punishment.

"Shouldn't I be rewarded instead of punished since I hid the audience so well?" He already knew the protest was pointless and sighed in resignation halfway through it, but at least he made the effort. The delirious Japanese boy did have a point that this was probably child abuse, but that probably wouldn't make any difference. He decided to make the best of things and take a different tactic for the time being.

"Hoy, Sonya Dmitriev! Does me getting punished with the rest at least mean you're ready to accept me as Naoto's Mist Guardian yet?"
ah crap, computer crapped out on me for a while and now I have no idea what's going on. So useless...
Will try and get something up although kind of burned out.
Um, I'd like in please. Not sure what to do for a GF though.
Name: Iwajima Jun

Age: nine years old.

Appearance: [] definitely the appearance of a reliable supernatural detective!

Personality: Jun can at times be incredibly focused, serious, and mature, which is only natural for someone who has worked hard enough to nearly master certain areas of Onmyoudo at such a young age. On the other hand the fact remains that he's still a child despite his high level of skill and his tendency towards hyperactivity is made worse by an overactive imagination fed by a combination of living in a magical world and ready access to media.

Abilities: Possess a high degree of skill with Onmyoudo, his affinity being the number 9. This allows him to use a variety of spells and techniques with his ofuda so long as they ultimately have something to do with the number nine either conceptually or concretely. He also has a surprising amount of martial arts expertise for someone his age, due to being raised to fight yokai.

Weapons/Equipment: Has his trusty detective's trenchcoat, though the only thing unique about it is that its pockets have ofuda on them that allow them nine times as much storage space. mainly used for carrying ofuda.

Brief Backstory:
Jun was a son of a powerful family of onmyouji who primarily made their living combating rogue yokai and other supernatural creatures. Toshiko knew his family from the time when she was in training and owed them a few favours for reasons she'd rather not mention. Because of his family's work, Jun was strictly trained in onmyoudo and related lore before he even started primary school, even to the extent of being given the Gazu Hyakki Yagyo in place of ordinary picture books. However his entire family died under mysterious circumstances. Under previous instructions his father had given him just in case anything ever happened that left him on his own, Jun sought out the Fu Sonzai no Gensō Detective Agency and has been living and occasionally working there part-time ever since, hoping to become a real detective some day and solve his family's case.
While everyone else was busy exploring and so on, Morito decided he'd take this chance to explore on his own. He'd at least gotten some basic level of information about the situation by sticking with this group so far and a lot of them seemed competent enough, but as long as he had to keep acting under this helpless child routine he felt like he wouldn't get anywhere fast. So while the blonde knight went off to explore Morito slipped away and intentionally got himself a little 'lost' through a few alleys to create some distance from the others, though hopefully they wouldn't even notice.

After that he exited the back alleys and walked through the streets, noticing for the first time that both they and the skies were now full of a multitude of strange creatures and bustling inhabitants. If Morito was skeptical of The Viewer and this being some sort of nexus between dimensions before, this just about confirmed it. That meant the upcoming challenges could be potentially anything. But if he learned more about this city maybe he could figure out what the first one might be. If nothing else knowing the lay of the land would be useful.

Following the general flow of the crowd seemed to lead Morito to a bar of some kind. Morito generally liked bars for this sort of job, they were almost always home to people who knew something of use, even if they had to be persuaded. On the other hand his...appearance tended to make getting into them a difficult prospect, let alone convincing the patrons to take him seriously. But maybe he could use that to his advantage.

Morito sidled into the bar and hopped up onto a stool without bothering to look around except furtively, all nervousness.

"U-um...excuse me but I'm lost a-and um...could I have a glass of milk? I feel like I haven't had anything to drink in d-days..." Worked almost every time. Now to either slip information out of the bar patrons with his cuteness act or...let them lower their guards and beat it out of them. Whichever worked would suffice, although...secretly Morito hoped it was the latter.
Um, I had an idea for a Squad 5 Captain who's actually a genius at Kido but gave up on using it after he lost his eye in a fight and the sudden lack of depth perception and general decrease in long-range visual ability caused him to hit a subordinate with a powerful Hadou while fighting. So now instead he focuses almost exclusively on swordsmanship for his personal fights.

Also he would be ultra-manly and hotblooded, generally act like a silly loon and do things like picking up a new hobby every week because "A man's hobbies should be as numerous as the stars and burn ten times as bright!" for example, partially for fun and partially to throw people off as to his competence. Also I talked to Rin and she's okay with him being the person who initially taught her character Kido.

Hope that sounds okay.
"Well, sounds like a sound business deal if I ever heard one, and it's not like we have any other leads. Let's move then, shall we?"

With that Ethel began sauntering down the previously indicated tunnel, seemingly without a care or concern in the world, though staying close enough to duck behind the Sister and the Guard-girl should things get violent.
Mombaki nodded as well, seeming excited at the prospect of the woods and journeying through them on the way to fight this odd Dark Guild and whatever challenges they'd present the group. "Yes. I can hunt far and scout out any traps or ambushes they plan. The woods we go through should be easy to read, so you don't have to worry about getting lost either." Some of his companions probably didn't have such skills in the wilderness, but the forests in the area didn't seem nearly as tangled or large as those of his home.
