Morph shrugged as if the circumstances of him happening to be there were almost as confusing and odd to him as they were to Elle, continuing to dust himself off. For a fraction of a second once the strange, misty creature appeared his hands might have twitched oddly, and the attempts at cleaning rubble out of his clothes might even have been a cover-up for slipping a pair of flip-knives that had sprung into his gloved palms back into hidden sheathes up his sleeves, but if that was the case he was doing his best to disguise it by the time it became clear that the creature wasn't attacking either of them, and in fact they were trying their best to communicate.

Morph smiled at both the blind girl and the mist creature as he finished cleaning rubble and dust off of himself "I guess I'm just kind of a wanderer, moving from place to place wherever the winds and my feet take me. A bandit though? Probably not likely. I don't think I'm the sorta guy who could be one of those 'dashing thieves who get by on their luck and their wits' types. Plus, then I'd have to fight and that's really not my style, y'know? I tried staying in the little towns too but I don't think they liked me hanging around with them very much, something against vagrants and drifters I guess."

He eyed the mist creature that had approached the apparently blind girl, showing curiosity more than any of the expected mixes of suspicion, fear and anger he supposed he should feel at the site of them.

"Who are you anyways? You don't look like anything I've ever seen before, and you can talk instead of just attacking like most of the things around here do, which I guess is nice but confusing."

Origin/History of Your Character:

James is the son of Steve Rogers and Sharon Carter, the SHIELD Operative known as Agent 13. James was 'home-schooled' in a sense, trained by both his father and at Sharon's insistence, by the best instructors SHIELD had to offer. The purpose of this was two-fold: the potentially idealistic purpose of having someone Steve could trust to take up the mantle of Captain America if anything should happen to him, and the much more pragmatic reason of preparing him in case any of Steve and Sharon's numerous enemies tried to get to them through him, or to capture and use him in experiments to create new super-soldiers.

In addition to his basic education he lived out an unusual daily life, training with SHIELD in his 'spare time', often in remote and hostile locations to practice field-craft if not aboard the Helicarrier itself. His teachers varied over time when he wasn't able to train directly with Steve. Over time he was shaped into a highly skilled individual the equal or better of many SHIELD agents. Despite the original intent of his training being self-protection, with influence from the organization he began to take shape as something more like the 'perfect Agent in-training'.

Although Steve and Sharon made for good parents and his training with SHIELD had seemed normal enough to him, the pressures of the lifestyle he was living and the expectations people seemed to have for him felt like too much for James, and a year ago he ran away from home in order to try and experience the world and live an 'ordinary' life.

Powers and Abilities [+]

Super Soldier Serum: Being the son of Captain America, James has lived with the effects of the Super Soldier Serum his entire life, naturally giving him the peak of human physical and mental ability. James's strength, speed, durability, agility, stamina, senses and even mental and healing processes are as good as possible without being truly superhuman. This allows James to pull off feats including but not limited to denting or even breaking steel with his blows, survive attacks from superhuman beings and continue fighting, dodge gunfire and even remember anything with perfect clarity of recall.

Master Martial Artist and Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Being trained by SHIELD from a very young age and also having studied under Steve Rogers, James is a master of multiple martial arts including Boxing, Judo, Aikido, Jujutsu, Ninjutsu, Karate, Muy Thai, Escrima, Wing Chun, Wushu, Capoiera, some experience with Krav Maga and Captain America's personal fighting style. although not quite as experienced in combat as his father he's still had an extraordinary amount of training for someone his age.

Trained Special Operative and Intelligence Agent: As someone partially raised by the best SHIELD had to offer, James is trained in infiltration, demolitions and general explosives usage, assassination techniques and tactics, survival in multiple different types of terrain, disguise, languages, interrogation, communications systems and secret codes, escapology, some computer skills, and the tactics, equipment and operational procedures common to SHIELD. He has also spent the last year or so actively evading SHIELD as well as multiple other organizations and individuals.

Weapons Training: As part of his being raised and trained by SHIELD, James is skilled with multiple different types of weapons including various kinds of knives, swords, staves, spears, bastons, bows and arrows, and of course shields, his weapon of choice. In addition he often includes quickly improvised weapons into his arsenal.

Master Shieldsmanship: Though it might seem an unusual choice for almost anyone else, James much prefers the use of shields to any other weapon. He has been trained both by SHIELD and more importantly by the first Captain America in order to be able to seamlessly wield shields or shield-like weapons in combat, as well as being able to throw them with uncanny accuracy. All of this is of course in preparation to one day wield the Mighty Shield of Captain America himself.

Master Acrobat: James's peak physical abilities and intensive training both at his father's hands and with SHIELD has made James a highly skilled acrobat and free-runner and he often incorporates it into his fighting style to increase both his offensive abilities and his evasive techniques.

Firearms Training: Though he dislikes using them out of principle, James is trained with multiple kinds of firearms and even some energy weapons possessed by SHIELD.
