anyone besides Vita still here?
Sorry but nope! All the hate!

Also doing a collab post for your character's intro really is a bit classless.
Um...who exactly are you collaborating with? It seems kind of dishonest to write your posts with someone who wasn't accepted into the RP...
My day's been neutral. Made teriyaki mango curry though.
So, finally stopped being sleep deprived and stuff to do a Benkei post. This sort of thing won't happen again, luckily!
As the circle cleared, a figure stood up in the middle, rising to a full seven feet tall and revealing a massive frame to match his height. He wore robes that could be vaguely recognized as those worn by sohei, warrior monks of a bygone era and though the massive man hardly seemed to be a religious type his towering body did seem like it fit a warrior.

He looked down at the small man who was regarding him with a mix of shock and awe, though in truth most men seemed small to one as large as Benkei. As he reviewed him and took in the man's exclamation of surprise, a puzzled look came over the giant monk's face as if there remained some element of the situation still beyond his understanding. After a moment of silent study of the magus before him, a grin like lightning suddenly split his face. The voice that followed was thunder.

"I...AM...BAHSAHKAH! Now, you who would call yourself My Master I ask you...What is your ambition, your goal, your dream?!"
Jun stared around wide-eyed at the huge western-style mansion. The Iwajima family home had been been what some people might have considered a mansion, it having been a fairly well maintained and modernized noble's residence dating back to the heian period before it was abandoned. Still, even though it hadn't been that long since he was last in his old home it felt like a lifetime ago and his memories of it seemed small and simple compared to this massive structure.

He only spent a little time awestruck, instead trying his best to act mature and focus on detective work. The sheer amount of maids struck him as odd, but he supposed that a family as rich as this might have a lot of maids anyway. But he found it odd that they didn't seem to have any security personnel. Oh sure, they were a family of high accomplished magic-users but he still thought it was unusual that they might rely on that alone.

Well, since they were here to investigate he might as well test the defenses a little. He had a set of paper tags slipped into his shoes for emergencies, and as they toured through the hallways he tried his best to discreetly activate them, though the next part would definitely be noticeable.

"Speed nine!"

As he dashed through the halls of the mansion, he would try to do the one thing that immediately came to mind to simulate the seriousness and volatile, emotional response of an attack without actually doing anything that might hurt anyone.

He tried to flip up the skirts of every maid in the mansion as quickly as he could. The fact that he was giggling like a loon the entire time probably helped sell his performance.
August hummed happily to himself as he dug a little plot in the dirt. He paused to adjust the sunhat he was wearing, then gently lifted a flower out of a tiny ceramic pot next to him and placed it in the hole before re-filling it and patting it down with a trowel.

"There you go little buddy! Grow up big and strong now, alright?"

August did feel pretty dumb talking to plants sometimes honestly, but he had always been taught that it was good for the plants if you talked to them or sang to them or that sort of thing so he compromised between humming and talking. August liked gardening at least. It only really required lots of patience and a calm attitude and it came with its' own very visible rewards seeing something grow and bloom or even making something edible out of the effort that got put into the hobby.

August picked up his crutch off the ground and slowly pushed himself up to a standing position with one hand and lifted a watering can with the other. Through a careful and practiced balancing act he balanced the watering can against his arm and crutch as he tipped it slowly to water the flower and a few other plants nearby. Suddenly though a strange computerized display screen popped up right before his eyes. The shock of it plus his vision suddenly becoming obscured was enough to make him drop the watering can and nearly fall over, though he caught himself just in time. He puzzled over the strange dialogue box for a minute or so.

"Become...a Maou, huh? Well, I guess I don't have much else to do today, right?"
Name: August Lim

Age: 14

Gender: Male

Appearance:

Personality: August generally doesn't think of himself as a very good guy but he knows he's not exactly a bad one even if he doesn't want to admit it. He mainly just wants people to live peaceful and hopefully happy lives and wishes to do the same for himself. On the less bright side August has a bad temper that can sometimes grab hold of him unexpectedly. He also tends to mask his actual thoughts with cynicism, but will leave that behind if you get to know him well enough. Underneath both the feigned cynicism and occasional anger issues really is someone who wants to see the whole world smile if he can, but he's found himself rather bored with his life lately and not knowing how he can make any sort of difference in the world.

History: August was born with a neuromuscular disorder and a slightly warped left leg. Fortunately he was raised by very caring people and excellent doctors, so his life has been fairly decent and a long series of experimental treatments and extensive surgeries have even let him walk fairly well on his own. He always felt a little bit of an outsider most of the time despite all of this and tended to take up quiet, contemplative hobbies by himself. Lately he's mostly been wondering what to do with his life and longing to escape to do something new and positive for a change.

Skills: Most of August's hobbies involve quiet things he can do by himself like reading or gardening, and for obvious reasons he doesn't have much in the way of physical ability. However his arm strength is far above average and he has a lot of experience with horseback riding for both therapeutic and recreational reasons. Lately he's also taken up a mix of several different forms of meditation to help with pain control amongst other things.

Also...would Prospero even have a cell phone? Would he even know how to use a cell phone, it not being magic-trick based? XD
