Name: Mushuro Hoshigaki

Age: 14, he just looks young

Gender: Male

Personality: By day, Mushuro is a timid, quiet and childish student at Gunryo Academy who tries everything he can to just peacefully get along and not attract anyone's notice. Also by day, he's a hot-blooded and manly masked vigilante who fights against the tyranny and oppression of those with high-level chips as the heroic Pandaman! His timidity and childish face aren't actually an act to hide his nature however. Instead he has a true split personality induced by years of over-the-top ninja training that attempts to burst forth and overwhelm him whenever he sees injustice and oppression, a problem he despises while wishing for an ordinary life of peace.

Bio: Mushuro's family is secretly a clan of former ninja, all of whom worked for the Chairs of different cities as enforcers and private assassins disposing of anyone who spoke out against the status quo. Their abilities were feared and whispered of in secret in the dark places of many a city wherever the strong-willed and independent gathered to resist. While they made their mark on numerous populations and earned their keep and endless praise even from those with S-Rank Chips, at least in the case of Mushuro's branch of the family they were not content with being horrifying murderers-for-hire forever.

So one day, Mushuro along with his family disappeared, removing their masks and outfits and living free among people who had never truly seen their faces. They wandered from city to city whenever the past started to catch up with them and still trained their children in their ancient family arts just in case, even teaching them to split off that dangerous side of themselves to better complete their disguise. However, now that Mushuro's been enrolled in Gunryu Academy he can't seem to stand the way citizens are treated anymore and the very split that's supposed to hide and protect him keeps putting him in danger.

Grade: First Year

Battle Chip: none

Anything Else: Despite not having a Battle Chip or ready access to weapons, Mushuro has been trained all his life in ninjutsu specifically by people who had defeating Chip-using dissidents as their primary job. As such he is able to defeat some chip users mainly through pure martial arts skill while that side of his personality is active and defend himself from people he should have no way of standing up against. When in his normal shy and timid persona however, he has no such abilities and all the power of a scrawny too-young-looking child.

Um...sorry, my leaving message was part of a bigger thing that got posted by accident to here, and I didn't notice it until now in this thread because of mid-term exam stuff and didn't plan on leaving. I...actually just finished my signup. Sorry and I'll understand if you no longer want me here.

Name: Kitagawa Touya

Age: 14

Appearance: in western dress to attend a family business meeting.

Personality: Touya is polite, standoffish and reserved for the most part, but gets surprisingly fired up in battle, especially against strong opponents. Once he really gets to know people he warms up considerably, but until then will just be polite if cold. He practices and trains himself relentlessly in order to be a better fighter and martial artist generally and wants to be the very best he can even at risk of his own health, and more than likely sees fighting monsters as just another way he can prove his strength to himself and others, rather than wanting to be any sort of hero. Being raised to be a perfect gentleman and representative of his clan and being mostly home-schooled, he speaks in a very odd, faux-archaic manner most of the time.

Background: Touya was born into a very respected and well-known zaibatsu that also has a long history of martial arts, and has been groomed from day one to be their heir. As such he's been mostly isolated from other people, home-schooled in between attending business meetings to learn his family's trade and endless hours of practicing their traditional martial arts styles. Other than that he mostly read books on various different subjects and was forced to study calligraphy, tea ceremony, business tactics and many other 'gentlemanly pursuits' As well in order to be 'the perfect representative of his family' living a rich but incredibly disciplined life.

Abilities:

Spell 1: Tortoise Destruction Wave!
Despite its' name, actually just forms a small, high speed wave of water and a tortoise shell of ice under Touya's feet, allowing him to surf on a miniature wave at high speeds for fast maneuvering. The wave can knock back enemies in it's wake occasionally, but can't deal damage.

Spell 2: Ice Shell Impact
A stylized tortoise shell that forms on his wrist, while it can be used as a weak shield or to increase the impact of his strikes, its real use and power is as an ice-firing hand cannon using the tortoise's retractable head as the barrel of a gun. Touya detests using it's real ability as it goes against his nature as a martial artist.
