Name: Vick Vandeltroff
Race: Wind elemental

Profession/Role/Position: Vick's father used to be a very successful oil tycoon, he bought, bribed and weaseled his way into politics, and brought his son along with him, giving him the ever so important position of "Head of information and data control" meaning, he does absolutely nothing while computers on the other hand, do. Vick has his safety set in stone, his rank set next to it, and his pockets overflowing.
Appearance: Vick is an almost sickly looking person, he has pale skin, a thin figure and slender features, his angular face has an upturned nose, elongated eyes that almost seem like slits, and a thin line fore a mouth. He has longish black hair to his earlobes, unlike one would expect, it is not really styled and he doesn't seem to care much about it. Vick's build isn't completely skin and bones, if anything he is pretty average, the length of his limbs just seem to make him look skinnier than he is. Vick has startling blue eyes (when they can be seen) and he seems to match everything he can to them. His expensive black suit has a shocking blue tie, his hat has a shocking blue trim and his cane (which he does not need) has a shocking blue ornament on it's top.
Equipment: His "walking" cane, his pda, his phone, his magnum and his cold, hard, dirty cash.
Implants: Vick has false legs, which can be adjusted and changed slightly in many different ways, they allow him to jump and run faster then expected from a pampered man-boy like himself. He got them after a little joy ride that went wrong.
Magic: Vick has only the natural magic that comes with his race, he can make wind blow and use air pressure to lift himself, and other objects up and about.
Personality: Vick is a cruel and slimy man, he blackmails and steals to get what he wants, has it in good with the yakuza, and does nothing but make money to waste on more luxurious uselessness. He doesn't care about other people, is cold and sarcastic to people who he thinks are lesser than him (which is most people) and he always expects to get his way. He does nothing and profits, and looks to keep it that way. He is a blatant racist to any half-ling of any sort, thinking them to be scum.
Bio: Vick has always been a spoiled boy, his father ran the oil business well before he was born, and he came into life rich and safe, he grew jaded because of this and to this day seems to remain that way.
Misc: He is notorious for causing intoxicated trouble, and trouble in general. His position always seems to stay secure though.
Company/Organization: He has his official position as Head of information and data control within the government, but is also known to be a benefactor of the yakuza, and still has a hand in the oil business, as well as other large corporations known to be corrupt, he takes the seedy part of town and makes it seedier, it's just his style.

Name: Allie Pendlton
Race: Phoenix
Age: 124
Gender: Female
Profession/Role/Position: Works in the editorial department of The Texas time
Appearance: Allie is bellow average height for a middle aged human, she has a little meat on her bones, not overweight, but you might not call her "skinny", she has tanned skin and striking red hair, with striking orange eyes. Her hair reaches down to her waist and she doesn't seem to ever cut it. Her face is rounded, with soft features, and her eyes are framed well with some thick eye lashes. She wears gender neutral clothing, unless working, then she wears business attire, skirt, leggings and all.
Equipment: She uses a trusty laptop, which she carries around often, and also has a bracelet to help stabilize her abilities.
Implants: She has none
Magic: Being a phoenix she able to regenerate after being mortally wounded, when she "dies" she melts into ashes, and it takes a day or so for her to come back, if her ashes scatter, they will pull together no matter how far apart they are spread. She does not start with her normal body, and actually reverts to the body of a 15 or 16 year old, a fact she laments dearly. Also due to her race, she has an ability to control fire, though for a phoenix, she is atrocious with it. Hence her bracelet
Personality: Allie is a somewhat sassy and sarcastic girl, she talks how she wants with most people, unless she knows they can maker life sh*t when they can't handle a joke. She tries to be an optimist though that doesn't usually hold true. She has some slight attitude problems, and doesn't seem to want to fix them. Really she is just an average person, she has her quirks but hey, who doesn't.
Bio: Allie has been around for a while, constantly dying and coming back will let you do that. You might think she would be wise and stoic after all those years, but she seems to be forever a somewhat angsty teen. She lives life rather uneventfully and deals with what she has, not much drama or earth shattering plot here. Just a chick who is bad at dying.
Misc: Some people seem to be sniffing about her as of late, she has no idea why.
Company/Organization: The Texas times. A relatively mediocre company with a relatively mediocre paper.

It's 1:35 AM here, so I think I'm going to hit the sack, I will be creating more characters soon though.

I see already that characters below 18 can enter this asylum, but I am thinking of making a very young character in comparison to the ones accepted so far, would that be allowed or deemed a bit too unrealistic? (I know we are talking about having superpowers, but the law isn't exactly as willy nilly because of it) To be exact he/she would be either 8 or 12.

Elaine moved to see whoever was speaking in the current conversation, she heard Feress' comment and she looked up to Lyari, she shrugged then blinked hard. "I suppose I will stay with Mr. Far-ess for now..." she turned to trot along after her furry caretaker but she looked back at Lyari once more before the fog began to absorb them. He seemed...interesting. She didn't know but something about him seemed slightly unstable, an yet for the most part, trustworthy. She shrugged it away and stepped even closer to Feress, she was going to be his shadow from now on, and a good shadow was never far behind.

Dusk took a stride to keep shoulder and shoulder with Ansen, "So, you are one of the more experienced ones here with the darkness...what is the likelihood that our group here is attacked?...I don't like the chances of certain members being able to protect themselves." Like earlier he was still itching for action, but he would never trade the lives of, anyone, for just a little bit of swordplay. That being said..."Do you think we can hold whatever might be in here off?" he hoped his cowl and the fog would be enough to hide his plastic face, the one which now had a coy smirk painted upon it.
