2014 AK Jun 4: The islands of Rey'lar are found to have the odd element Triarct.

2026 AK Oct 21: Vain of Triarct begins emitting large magical pules. Scholars are confused as to why.

2114 AK Nov 13: Pulses finally cease. Reason for the odd occurrence still has not been found.

2156 AK Jun 1: It happened.

2302 AK ??? ?: A misty form came to the islands. She claims to be goddess.

2319 AK ??? ?: First church of Aleir established.

1 AF Nov 1: We have completely separated ourselves from the outside world, the years and years of being separate causes us to worry if we will ever see proper ground again.
Long ago. An odd ting occurred. For years an odd crystalline element began letting off some new magical energy. No one ever discovered why it was happening or what it was affecting. All seemed normal, until Jun 1 of 2156. The entire set of islands lifted from the earth. The large hulking islands simply left, pulling up land masses and disappearing above the clouds. All the people who flew up with their homes were thought goners, until recently. A scarcely filled journal of the events leading to "the calamity" tell us, people are living up there, or they were until recently. An expedition is being made to go and find the island. The first ever flight machine is nearly ready, and a large crew is being assembled. History is soon to be made, the winds are changing.
It had been 5 days. Lady Aleir has not spoken to anyone, and an odd breeze has been rolling through the islands. All of a sudden Yorch, the high priest, has come raving into the village. He claims that Aleir has finally spoken to him, and that an odd danger is coming. Terrible men on metal beasts are flying to find and destroy the islands. Aleir is weakening in these dire times, and needs a new source of energy to keep her alive. A group of adventurers must travel to the forbidden isles, and find the large untapped crystals of Triarct, bringing it back so that the goddess can live, and veil your homes from the oncoming enemies.
Hello and welcome! If you are reading this I assume you found something above interesting, if this is true, I would love for you to join us!

You may play as either a land dweller, or a cloud dweller. One group is seeking to help the others, and another is seeking to keep themselves secluded. This means that the if one group is successful, the other will obviously not be, and that means. Whichever side you, the players bring to win, actually win, and change the world placed here forever.
If you choose to be a denizen of Rey'lar, your world will be less advanced, running on a system of give and take. Buildings are more simple and currency does not exist, instead a sort of favor system takes its place. You do something for a person, they will do or give something to you. Villages are relatively small, metal is scarce, magic is valued highly and thus taught to most. Food comes from crops (make up some weird sky plants if you want idk) and from the odd beasts that appeared after the land took flight. They lurk in the forbidden isles in the thick forests, and are hunted on a regulated basis. People are careful to not over-hunt.

If you are instead a land dweller, you will most likely live in a castle town. Stone roads and clockwork contraptions make up your world. Many of the most technologically advanced items around you use steam powered mechanics. Poverty is at an all time low and most people are at least making ends meet. Magic is becoming a lost art, and instead blade and firearms are being used to defend people. A time of peace has recently been met, and thus many people have been trained for battle, but a decent little bunch have not needed to see it.
Rules:
Standard guild rules, don't cheat, don't have SEX in the threads, don't auto-hit, don't power play.

I know romance is a fun little thing to do, but no ista-love. It irks me when two character speak once and they suddenly cling to each other all "I will die for you" for seemingly no reason. This isn't Romeo and Juliet.

You CAN have a character in each faction, in fact I would kinda like for people to have one of each.

Don't pet the unicorns.

Have fun? Odd rule maybe but yeah, if you feel more obligated to post then wanting too, maybe we should talk about how to change that.

If there is something you don't think you should do, just don't do it.

Leslie's Relationship Chart
♥ = romance|| ♦ = friends || ♠ = enemies || ○ = neutral

Leslie's mark first, then Sarah's, then Alex's, then William's and finally, Jason's.

♦/♦/♥/♦/○Jin: Quite a nice man. I should try not to bother him... He is nice enough to deal with me after all... Pretty sure Alex is gunning for him, gotta watch out for that.

○/○/○/○/♠Adonis "Andy" Ring: Haven't talked to him so much...Hope I didn't do anything to offend him. Jason is cautious of him.

○/○/○/○/○Daniel Wordsworth: ...An....Interesting person. Can't really find any common ground to start a conversation with...them.

○/♦?/○/○/○Isam Hajjar: Saw him once. Kinda scary, Sarah says not to be afraid though.

○/○/○/○/♠Cat: Gives me an odd vibe. Jason often says to stay away from him... I think i'll listen to him this time...

♦/♦/♦/♦/○Dog: Seems like a nice person. William seems to have taken a shine to her... Which is kinda odd.

○/♠/○/○/♥Erin Keller: Have to keep eyes off of her...uh, leg...Can be a bit, standoffish. Should try not to be rude to her...I don't really think Sarah agrees much with her. Jason clams up around her, which surprises me actually...

♦?/○/○/○/♠Alice White: A little odd. Might be someone I could get along with...maybe. Jason thinks she is really weird.

○/♦?/○/○/○Amelia Perrault: Seems nice enough. Haven't talked to her really, for obvious reason...Sarah tells me I should try and reach out to her, but I'm not sure why.

○/○/♦?/♦?/○Estelle "Stella" Adams: I feel a bit nervous around her. A bit hard to talk to...William finds her endearing. Alex finds her interesting.

♦/♦/○/○/○Mackenzie Cole: A really nice seeming person. Jason doesn't like to talk to her too much.

♠/♦/♦/♦/♦Leslie "Nevermore" Axelfeild: ... No comment.

♦/♦/♦/♦/♦Cody Mensah: A really nice person, Alex likes him a lot and even Jason thinks he's alright. Should be really careful not to overstep my boundaries, don't want to bother someone like him.

○/♠/○/○/♠Lucy Coure: Hard to get along with. Can't really talk to her very long without feeling like a dunce. Sarah says she needs to grow up, but she's only eight...

Hah. This might be a bit annoying to read. Don't really know how to list the little signs better.

Got bored, so I figured I'd go ahead and make this.

Isam's thoughts on the apartment dwellers:

Jin: He's an alright guy. Isam honestly can't figure out what to think of him, he doesn't see him a whole lot.

Adonis "Andy" Ring: Is he old enough to live here?

Daniel Wordsworth: He needs to eat a sandwich or something, but he seems okay. Isam is 63% sure he's done something to offend the guy.

Isam Hajjar: Worst guy in the entire complex. Seriously, who let this asshole in here?

Cat: A little strange, but he's never bothered Isam before.

Dog: He can't figure out if Cat is his life partner or his BROTHER. Or if this guy is even a guy.

Erin Keller: She doesn't seem to want to come within fifty feet of him. Isam tries to not take it personally.

Alice white: The cat thing is sort of endearing, he guesses. Strange and slightly disturbing, but endearing.

Amelia Perrault: She actually seems pretty normal compared to most of the other residents. He's gathered that she either can't talk, or just doesn't.

Estelle "Stella" Adams: Nice girl. He's mildly impressed that she can fend for herself with her condition.

Mackenzie Cole: A loud child, what with her MUSIC and such. Where are her parents?

Leslie "Nevermore" Axelfeild: A sad, strange little man.

I'm glad my guy is the only on called "strange" in this group.

Sure someone else is "disturbing" but i'll take what I can get.
