Name: Pria Adgerra

Age: 19

Gender: Female

Weight: 130 lbs

Height: 5 ft 3

Appearance: Pria has a "gentle" build. She isn't overweight or particularly fit, but she has enough fat to be soft in most places. She has olive skin and an over-all well put together look. Her jawline is clear-cut and her nose is button, matched with big heavy lidded eyes she can seem almost whimsical; a fact not aided by constant day-dreaming. Her lashes are long, and partially hidden by the thin framed but rather large round glasses that sit on her nose. Also found across her nose is a spread of freckles, and above her right ear an almost star shaped birth mark. Her lips are full, and adorned with a beauty mark above the left corner. Her brows are well kept though naturally large. Her coiled black hair is medium length, though kept out of her face with pins. She wears a sort of "comfy" fashion. Overalls, elegant jewelry, single colored long sleeve shirts. Some question the tan book bag she always has over her shoulder, but she always misses it when it's not on her person. She wears classic red sneakers, a little faded and beat up from use. Her nails are decently long though rarely painted. Her smile is a little crooked and her teeth surprisingly white, with canines that stand out almost a little alarmingly.

Abilities: Reflection magic, ship piloting/navigating.

Strengths: She's a quick thinker, brave, knows how to handle her own, has a lucky streak, can run for a long time.

Weaknesses: Not the strongest physically, can get overwhelmed emotionally, can't swim, needs her glasses to see long distances.

Likes: Mirrors, precious stones, fancy things in general, animals, reading, the idea of an adventure, freedom, rain/thunderstorms.

Dislikes: Being looked down on, making mistakes, getting her hair caught in things, cats, loud people, too much heat.

Personality: Tries her best to always be kind and courteous. She was raised in a sort of rough environment around a lot of people, so she is adaptable to almost all sorts. She is prideful, and feels like she has to prove herself to everyone. Doesn't like to admit she was wrong, but loves to help people if they don't get/can't do something. Sort of a potty mouth, but she doesn't like to admit that either. Can be the jealous type.

Inventory: Silver pocket mirror, collapsible staff, backpack, charts, journal and books on varying studies, wand of fireball, MAP-C (Mass produces. Anti-gravity, Personal Computer) wallet with identification, licence and some credits. She keeps most of her funds stored away, in case she looses her things. Glasses and backup glasses, hairpins, makeup case. Granola bars and water-bottle.

Bio: Pria was raised on a travelling commune by her mother. The two traveled with a few hundred others on the relatively small space freighter leaving a war-torn planet behind. Her father was lost to the battles and she never had siblings. The two managed in meager dwellings, not stopping on any planet the ship took port at. Eventually her mother grew tired of the ship life and the two departed onto the planet they currently live on. Her mother had found work as a teacher, teaching religion and basic. Pria has spent the last few years of her life wanting nothing more then get back to the stars. She was raised seeing new worlds and gliding along the cosmos, and while she would never tell her mother she didn't like the life they had planet-side, she wanted more adventure in her life. Her mother taught her just enough magic to be dangerous, and her upbringing made her adaptable. With enough hard work and study she earned her basic piloting silence, and is now ready to assemble a crew and purchase a ship.

Aaloka Rudgar

(Likes being called "Allie")

Age:
16

Physical Description:
Aaloka looks much a like the other children changed by the Ascendancy of Man. Altogether normal despite in top physical shape. She stands at roughly 5"3. Her build is toned though not overtly muscular. She has the tan skin telling of her descent, and almond shaped brown eyes. Her hair is black, and cut pixie short. She is lithe with slender hands, large eyes and a large forehead, looking almost doll like. She has a heart shaped face, a small nose and long lashes. The symmetry of her face broken by a large scar down her left eye. A smattering of freckles crosses the bridge of her nose and decorates her cheeks with constellations. The same marks can be found on her shoulders and parts of her lower back. Her nails are trimmed short and two fingers on her right hand are slightly more pale then the others, from when they were replaced. She often gives off a sort of lazy appearance, with a heavy lidded and unflinching stare.

When it comes to fashion she wears simple clothing of habit. Comfortable and serviceable is how she chooses to dress herself, though she does have the desire to branch out and care about her outward appearance. Her favorite color is purple, and will wear that if she can help it. She hasn't collected any accessories except for a simple locket, though she hopes to expand the collection.

Important items:
The aforementioned locket is one of her prize possessions. Twisted in it's own way, she took it from the body of a field medic who seemed to show her some kindness. She didn't have any deep relationship with the woman, but it was enough for her. It is a small bronze locket in the shape of a heart, there is no picture inside yet.

A purple and simple friendship bracelet from another child in the program. They met as prisoners of the Rau've and became fast friends. While Allie decided to join the group in vengeance, her friend Martha went for a life of peace. To remember each other she left Allie this simple band of purple cloth.

Armor worn under clothing for protection, made of flexible fibers of shock absorbent material made to repel large points of impact. Less made for high stress situations and more-so for a nimble fighter.

Nemesis Weapon:
"Nemesis Vampirus"

A scythe made of black alloy and adorned with glowing red etches. Using it's magi-tech forces it can sap away life from a struck enemy if they stay within a certain distance. It is light-weight and wickedly sharp. It's unconventional shape as a weapon makes it more useful for pulling enemies in, and piercing armor then it does cutting. It's secondary ability is return to the wielders hands. It is tied to the user by being infused with their blood, giving it's name "vampirus" along with it's health absorbing ability. This also means the owner is able to tell where it is, with a vague sort of "sixth sense"

Short Bio:
Aaloka was a prodigious student in India, aspiring to one day take over the family clinic. Naturally this did not come to pass. Instead she was taken to "ascend" and "fight the good fight." Before her body was changed she was a very non-confrontational person. She lived with her father and mother as a somewhat lonely only child, and wasn't entirely the most popular among her classmates. She took to the regiment and programs well enough, not initially holding any restraint and being an obedient subject. While she was the questioning type in her mind, she was never rebellious.

The awful tests and protruding nature in which she was treated made her retreat further within herself. Aaloka no longer wanted to become a doctor. In fact she wanted very little at all. Considered as a smashing success she did as was told, and pushed the crystalline elements through her veins to become a better and better soldier. Tasked with becoming a melee specialist she underwent many rigorous field tests and harsh training. Every day was another stress-test. Pushing her body farther and farther so that she could push back against an enemy she held no hate for.

And she did. She fought long and hard when her scars were healed. All the wounds inflicted by the tests were taken away so that she could grant them en masse. She cut swathes through enemy forces for only a short time. Her initial release as a soldier was not long before the battle of Proxima. She fought as she always did then, but pushed too far and was captured swiftly. Her magic, her special weapon and unflinching nature not enough to outdo the Rau've forces. And then she woke up.

Like the other surviving children, she was a prisoner, though treated much better by the enemy then she ever was by her makers. And she could run no longer, the space in her brain she fled to was laid bare. She faced reality and wept, until she could no more. In time she met the others, she befriended them and she came to feel again for the plant-like people who saved her, and who she regretted with every fiber for killing. Which was why she decided to continue the fight. The quiet girl who once excelled at sports and wishes to be a doctor was now a reverent made of a quiet anger. She would avenge the lives she took, and she would fight for those who were hurt like her. After all where else could she go? Peace seemed so far away now.

----
Name: Amelia Runefinder

Age: 74 (Looks roughly 20)

Sex: Female

Race: Hulder

Appearance: With long straw blond hair and a pale complexion she looks mostly human. Her features are somewhat sharp, with high cheekbones and a heart shaped face. Her nose is hooked and long and her lips full. She has a slight figure and stands at roughly 5"7. A smattering of freckles spread across her cheeks and the bridge of her nose. Her eyes are almond shaped and a warm honey color. She has a scar running from below one eye, tracing all away to above the other; just cutting off part of her eye brow on the right side. She keeps her hair long, nearly down to her thighs, though it is braided back in the end to keep it out of the way. It is left to hang down to cover the telling signs of her species. Her back seems covered in a thick tree bark, and is largely missing. A black hole leading to who knows where in place instead. While it is harder to hide a fox-like tail also protrudes out near the base of her spine. She tends to wear fall colors, though she likes green, and tends to mix it in where she can. She is a fan of simple jewelry, like bracelets or earrings. Her clothes are much the same. Elegant, not showy.

Personality: Everything Amelia does has some sense of subtly to it. Or at least that's how she tries to keep it. She doesn't like giving too much information and way, and is very much a "low-risk high reward" sort of person. She is hungry for information and power, but not for any nefarious or grand purpose. It's just in her nature. She enjoys quiet and likes the comfort that can be found with a small group of interesting people. She loves to read, and spends a lot of time studying. She tries to be a very rounded person and reaches into many different subjects. This of course limits how much she can grow in each subject though. Magic is her one true love when it comes to learning. It's the field she never sacrifices for another. She is quite charmed when in control of situations, but when she is pushed to the edge her tightly wound figure breaks loose. She can "deal" with high stress, only it comes out maybe violently later. She tries to be demure and likable but bottles up all negativity, and isn't actually the kindest person ever. She likes to get something for her troubles, even if that trouble is something small like holding the door open. She follows her own unspoken rules on how things go and is quite unhappy when others don't follow them. Even when it makes no sense for them to.

History: Amelia has spent all her life growing up within the walls. The area she's lived most her life in was a densely populated area filled with wide numbers of magical peoples. Her joy as a youth for listening to people's stories and watching them preform their magical feats is what started her academical study of magic, and thus other subjects. She spent a lot of time learning, training and attempting to improve her status. One who is attempting to learn the ins and outs of the wall and enhance it further, she is ambitious. She has amassed her own small library and makes a small sum from it. She also owns a small plot of land ideal for selling herbs and flowers from, which is where another portion of her funds stem from. Being a nature spirit she is in tune with how they grow. Her modest but no disarming abode is sheltered by a wall of trees on each side. Granting he some semblance of quiet in the busy city. In time she came to own the building, and rents the lower floors out to others. All in all she is a sort of bureaucrat, who hopes to continue to grow, and expand past the walls of the city. Owning everything isn't necessarily evil, just profitable, aye?

Skills: Booksmart, magically talented, in-tune with nature. She has learned some business sense and has gotten quite lucky with it. Only the smallest smattering in combat she isn't exactly tuned to brave the wilds herself. A sort of jack of all trades kind of person, though unrefined or rough things she has no interest in. She doesn't like to get her hands dirty, nor take action without proper information. This can lead to her bring indecisive at times. In addition to this she is slow to react when her initial plan goes wrong, despite always trying to have at least a plan "B". She spends all this time trying to put off a regal sort of image, and when things start to fall out of place so does she. That being said deep down her brightest talent is tenacity. She might not succeed every time but boy is she hard to keep down.

Other: Likes sweets, but pretends not to. Pretends to dislike children when she actually loves them. Bad at displaying affection in general. Despite her conscious efforts to seem high-class, easily offended when referred to as "stuffy." Thinks frogs are the bee's knees despite not being a fan of most animals.

Pria hummed a little in response, trying to pick her words. He almost made it sound like it was a bad thing, and maybe it was? There's something to be said for a stable job or dedication to an employer. "Not to sound greedy but I try to find work that get me money fast. I can't wait to have my own ship." She smiled at him, hoping she did't seem to desperate or sad in his eyes. She didn't really care what the rich and famous thought of her but sympathy was just as bad. "Regular work isn't something I've avoided or anything, but a stable job gets in the way of doing things like what i'm doing now. Flying experience under my belt and some extra credits are better then flipping burgers all day for peanuts."

A lot of minimum wage jobs were automated of course, but somehow that saying stuck with Pria. And it's not like every job was open to her. She spent all her life traveling, she didn't actually have a fancy degree or anything, despite the academic feeling she tried to give off.
So super interested. I love the world and concept already.
youtube.com/watch?v=nmExqfKa1Uc (random roaring at end, ignore that lmao)

A soft melody floated through the air. The smell of bread mixing it with it warmly, creating a sense of home. A young woman sat on an old wooden chair strumming her harp, creating the fairy-like tune. It was a pleasant sound, but her face was decorated with a sad smile. Her eyes empty and staring through the floor-boards into times gone by. She repeated the chords without missing a beat, her lids heavy over her eyes she seemed half likely to fall asleep. A clatter from the kitchen broke the noise, and with a sudden silence she stopped her song. The head of an older man leaned back to become visible through the doorway. "Sorry dear, did I startle you? Food ready anyways." He returned to his work and soon came out of the kitchen with two plates of stew and fresh bread.

The young woman took the chance while he was setting up to place her instrument aside the wall of the dining room she was in, and set the table for two. She also took an old wooden bowl from atop a small cabinet to carry into the kitchen. The two passed each other with a small smile and she went to fill the thing with a setting of potatoes and chicken made off to the side. She re-entered the room and placed the bowl next to another filled with water in the corner. She then whistled and the lazy sound of padding feet came near. A dog looking older then time itself managed to make it's way in, and she squatted down to give it a small pet of affection. She then took her seat, and the three began to eat. The older man and Candy spoke about their days, mostly uneventful for both. She spent all her time at home when she wasn't out working, and he was much the same. After full stomachs and a few light hearted laughs, she broached the subject she was avoiding.

"A letter came in today." Her tone and expression betrayed the recent conversation's tone. The older man just nodded and lent forward. "Looks like i'm part of a circle now." She gave a small smile, trying to mask the obvious way she felt about it. The man just hummed and nodded slowly again. "So i'll be gone. For a very long time I imagine. I'll visit when I can of course." He gave her a smile at that, but the two knew how often that would be; which is to say, not very. She spent the night packing, and the next morning she was off.

"Just do me the favor of staying safe love. I can't go losing you too." Tears threatened to surface at the comment, but she bit her lower lip and nodded, embracing him warmly, before leaving. She had what she needed slung on her back, and if she wanted to make it in the requested time, she couldn't wait around. So off she was.

---At the library---

"What in the ever living fuck is a troglodyte?"

Candy stood with a hefty book of ancient history open in her hands. She was making a sour face at it trying to understand some of the more academic words. She didn't dislike reading, but she learned it late in life and when she couldn't understand big words it sort of annoyed her. She shrugged and closed the book, sliding it under her arm along with the dictionary she had found. She stayed away from Helia most she could, so she always took books out when she was back. This time she wanted to learn about what came before, instead of magical theory or math or anything like that. She also told herself this as a way of convincing herself it wasn't nerves. Usually she was ready for anything, and took it all in stride. For some reason though she found herself a little concerned with this whole circle business. She loved people, and being in groups and all that but being part of a team? Making sure people were safe and by god people doing the same for her? A questionable idea.

So instead of waiting around for the problem to hit her in the face, she hid between the rows of tomes and grimoire. Busying herself with reading, checking out books and flipping through pages idly. After a few minutes she sighed. "This ain't like me..." she muttered under her breath. The idea alone was enough to get her to go. She went to the counter so sign the books out, slipped them into her bag with her other things, and went to exactly where she was supposed to.
@OneWayOut

Sick. She's got mad lyre skills then.

Can she use magic to make it sound more metal lmao

I'm only half joking.
I personally assume we don't know each other but can.

Does anyone want to know the sparky broad?

Also question I never asked: Can I have a guitar despite the ill-fitting time period, or is she a rock and roll harpist?
