Hey, yeah sorry I've been busy between work and getting everything set for the holidays. I should have a response out tonight/tommorow.
Yeah don't worry about it! Real life always comes first, just post when you can.

I'll be away for the holidays so while I might be able to push a post out from my phone it won't be anything amazing lol
Allie flew in pleased silence to where they were expected to meet with the others. She took to dusting herself off in an almost mimicking fashion until she was asked a question. One in regards to the nature of their new mission. Aaloka had no abilities that would let her know at this point, but she tilted her head to the side, looking down in the opposite direction to think.

"Something simple, but dangerous."

She didn't have much to make her think that, but with how quickly the meeting went it must have been a pretty basic concept. But with all this cloak and dagger, it couldn't have been the easiest thing. Then again, when did they ever do the easy thing?

As it turned out, she was at least close. A bodyguard job, for a hefty price. She didn't comment on John's acceptance of the mission. It wasn't her place to do so, and she trusted his judgment. Aaloka just plodded along beside the rest of the group, swinging the heavy ends of her somewhat too big sweater sleeves to and fro. She walked with a uniform but exaggerated gate, kicking her legs up in time opposite to her arms. She only stopped when the announcements began on the large screens above. Her round eyes reflecting the bright rectangles as she silently took in the opposing proclamations. Seeming in a daze she didn't move, but did something one would rarely find her doing so; breaking a silence.

"Both of them are wrong, and right."

She didn't mean to start any debate, but she felt it might be a statement the group could resonate with. If anyone knew anything about taking the good with the bad, it would be these people.

Blinking hard a few times she then looked up to her nearest teammate, who happened to be Rachel.

"What games do we have?"

"Thank goodness. Yes, the suits seem to be alright."

Pria relayed the co-ordinates, the fact that it was just to two on the shuttle, and explained what had happened. Downplaying her aggression in the altercation. She looked to Hensen when asked on injuries, making sure he was alright again.

"As far as I know we're mostly okay. Our shuttle has enough power to fly, but I wouldn't like to chance it without any life support.
Pria did her best to humor Hensen and just smile and nod. She was distracted by a swarm of negative thoughts though. Would she have to pay for the repairs on the shuttle? She probably wouldn't even get payed. She avoided school to not go into debt and now this happens...What were the chances of this shuttle being picked? It all felt like such horrible luck she couldn't help but stew in the negativity a bit.

At least the thing still flew, that was a massive relief. Pria decided it'd be best though to stay put. In case a ship wanted to come find them it'd be smarter to not fly away from the original source of the signal. Luckily a few minutes later they got a response. Good because it meant this would be over soon, and it meant Hensen might quiet down for a bit.

Pria answered the call, nervous yet relieved to re-tell the situation and get moving back home.
Upon hearing Sylvia's whisper in his ear, the sailor looked to Lockwood, who gave him a nod. The sailor grinned at Slyvia as he stood up, clearing his seat. "I'll be takin a rain check, lass, of that you can be sure."

"A true gentlman." Sylvia retorted, taking the seat and propping her elbows on the table. Her chin resting on her knuckles. "So. Fancy finding you here, right around Founder's Day." She raised a brow at the captain. "Coincednce?"

The man who's seat she took was clearly out of her world, as far as she was concerned.

Lockwood took a long inhale of his pipe, letting a silver puff of smoke roll out of his lips. "Nah, there's gold to be made lass! Founders Day?! Pah! Tis a golden day for me and my mates!"
His crew laughed, raising their mugs in cheers

A smile flashed on Sylvia's lips. Barely averting her eyes to witness the rousing of the crew. She took her hands off the table and placed one to her chin, as if to ponder an idea. As if she didn't have this already planned out.

"I like the sound of that. At the moment I happen to be looking for work." She motioned around her with her arms. "Surely my reputation can garner me a place in this scheme?" She looked to the boy who had tried to rob her not long ago.

"I certainly wouldn't be the worst pirate of your bunch."

Lockwood looked to his crew. "What do you say, lads? We need another to share in on the gold?" The crew laughed, hollering a resounding "NO!"
Lockwood laughed. "Ah me matey's have no heart! Barkeep! A mug o' ale for my friend! I be thinking a little charity is in order. 'Tis Founders Day, after all!"

The corner of Sylvia's lips turned a little higher at the response of the crew. She didn't blame them for their answer, and she wasn't done here yet.

When a server came over to give her the drink, she made sure to pay. She wasn't the type to take handouts, and she made eye-contact with Lockwood while doing so.

"Well. I can't blame ya' I suppose." She remarked as she took the tanakrd in hand. "But I figurerd I might as well ask." She took a long swig before continuing. "I'd rather work with you than against is all."

Lockwood tossed his head back with a laugh. "Oh aye, lass. My mates are short sighted and greedy, but I'll work with ya! Just so happens I'm in need of another mate on me ship. But you'll earn your keep, lass! There be no slackin'!"

She let a chuckle loose at the reply, raising her mug to the crew. "Not the worst traits for pirates ey?" She stood then, and outstrethed the drink. "Slackin ain't in my lexicon. A clink to good buisness?" She wiggled the tankard a little, motioning for the captain to collide his cup with hers.

Lockwood leaned forward, clashing his mug with hers, beer splashing from the impact. "There be no more sacred oath between sailors, then a cheers of ale!" He laughed.

She laughed with him and threw back the rest of her drink, wiping it off her chin after doing so. "Runs deeper than blood it does!"

"We cast off in eight hours, lass... Be at the fourth pier when that north star is bright! "

"You've got it...captain." She smiled at him and slammed the tankard down onto the table, moving the chair away from her to leave. With the alcahol still in her blood from last night, this drink would be enough, she hadn't been on the seas for some time and she wanted to gather some personal effects before taking off. "See you gents then!" She threw her hand up in a lazy wave, as she walked away from the crew.

they laughed and hollered as the bard started in with a jaunty tune.
Pria let out a sigh of relief when Hensen pulled out the suits. It was standard protocol to have a certain amount of suits on-board any ship. She wasn't quite sure how she forgot that. Pria double checked to see if the message she had just activated was jammed or not, but judging by the other two ships speeding away, it seemed like it went through. "Yeah, I just did."

She made her way over to him and took one of the suits out of the compartment as well. "Fancy enough to keep us alive" She said with a smile. She started suiting up without another word, and when she had the helmet on she waited for him to be suited up too. Then she was able to use the short term communicators inside the suits.

"I don't think the ship will explode or anything, we should be okay to sit inside it while we wait."

Unless the console was blaring warnings of such a nature, she didn't intend on going out to open space for no reason. Who knows how far they'd drift away.
"I'm just worried." Pria started, as she continued away at the controls, more and more frantically trying to get things working. "That with the life support gone we'll die before anyone could get the message." She was working now to see if that could be rectified, if the life support was directly damaged they didn't have much of a choice, they'ed have to jump ship asap. Regardless Pria hit the button to send out an alert message. The sooner help came the better, even if they tried to take the other ships. "Also they might just blast us as soon as they are out of range. They're probably pretty upset with us right now."

She huffed out some air and looked at Henses, forming a toothy smile matched with arched brows.

"Thanks. I'm just glad we're not dead yet."
Hello~

I'm interested in work-shopping some ideas together if you'd like.

In particular I really like Science-Fantasy stuff so if that's something to your taste we can come up with something quick i'm sure. That being said i'm also quite open!

Pria caught Hensen as best she could, doing enough to make sure they were both standing. She looked at the pods setting off with disdain. Once they were gone she sighed, blowing some hair from her face that came loose in the altercation.

"That could have gone better."

She pushed Hensen off of her and patted him on the shoulders.

"Could have gone worse too."

She picked up the gun and her staff, which the two were stupid enough to leave where she dropped them. She collapsed her weapon and slipped it into her pocket, then looked over the gun for a second, before handing it to Hensen.

"If you could figure out how exactly that thing works in the next few seconds I'd appreciate it. We're not done with them yet."

Without another word she rushed to the console, checking over the damages. Even if they didn't have the pods anymore, they'd have the transports. Whether or not she could rig it for them both to get off of here was the real problem. She began flipping toggles and pressing buttons. She'd never actually used this function on a ship before, but knew the practice in theory.

"I'm really sorry this happened. I should have done things differently. I don't think we can save the shuttle." Her cool demeanor was slipping away as she worked at the controls. The panic she felt earlier was stewing in her gut again, and she felt the sweat on her brow. "I'm going to try and get us over to their ship. If we do this right we can take them by surprise, get the ship and take down the one that first stopped us with their own weapons." She looked to Hensen finally willing to meet his eyes. "You're okay right?"

She had been meaning to ask, but felt self-conscious about it. She'e be surprised if he wasn't right pissed at her at the moment.
