Dealing with a lot of work from uni right now. Probably won't get any roleplaying done for a while. Why can't there be a major in uni about roleplay?!

"Homeworld Portal Nine, this is Peridot, serial number 13B90. Approaching Portal in approximately 190 seconds."

"13B90, you have clearance to land."

"Understood. Activating auto-landing sequence."

Peridot extracted her limb enhancers from the control panel of the ship and leaned back on the chair. It had been a horribly exhausting few cycles and just the sight of Homeworld nearing on her screen was enough to rejuvenate her. Oh, how she hated having to be sent away on scouting or retrieval missions. She hated the latter more so since those often last longer than necessary, especially when the target was determined not to get caught. Her mind fell to the gem in one of the ship's many containment chambers and a frown found its way to her lips. Just thinking about that clod and all the trouble she'd caused Peridot... She wished there would be public execution. She'd bring all her Flask Robonoids to watch and see what would happen should they try and stage a mutiny against her.

She wondered just how her prisoner was doing. Her finger was hovering over the button that would activate the containment chamber's security feed, but she decided against it. There were some lines she wouldn't cross, and offering her prisoner her privacy was one of those. There wouldn't be time, anyway. The ship was lowering slowly on to Homeworld. She'd have to submit her report to Yellow Diamond after securing her prisoner to a jasper.

She stood and headed down to the containment chambers. The empty cells seemed such a waste of resources for her, but she knew that there might come the time when all of the ships' containment chambers would be filled. Just the thought of having to manage that many prisoners by herself was enough to make Peridot thankful that she only had to deal with one rebel gem.

She paused on the outside and eyed the gem, silently appraising her. This was the gem that had her running around in circles. She bit back the distasteful remark and chose to maintain professionalism. "We have arrived," she announced as she reached into the gem on her forehead and extracted a Gem Destabilizer. "I'm going to lower the Destabilizer wall and lead you outside. Should you act in any hostile manner, I will be forced to utilize this Gem Destabilizer and poof you. Is that understood?"

Well my character has been in prison for a while now. I stated it in her bio, but I doubt she's been let out enough to know the others.
I'm kind of tempted to make a second character if there's still time before the rp starts...

character originally created for gone

Full Name: Antoinette "Ant" Pearce
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Birthday: April 3rd

Species: Mutant
Power: Persuasion. The user can compel people by speaking, the victims are unable to disobey; the seemingly cogent commandment is far too compelling. At high level, user can even persuade people into hurting/killing themselves, but can never cause victims to achieve what they are not capable of

Coates or Townie: Coates (Bad)
Personality: ((I'd rather this be something discovered through interaction, but you can get a pretty good idea from her history.))

Brief History:
The Pearce family was known in San Perdido for one thing and one thing only - they were some of the wealthiest and most influential people in the town. James Pearce was San Perdido's acting mayor, and everyone looked at his family for perfection. There was Mrs. Yasmin Pearce, a masterful pianist. Their first born, James Pearce Jr, was the personification of perfect. Great grades, great looks, and a great attitude.

Ant, on the other hand, was nothing more than a black sheep - a mistake that her parents would rather stuff in the attic and forget. She was fine with that. If her parents didn't want to acknowledge her existence, then that was just fine with her. She took her trust fund and gathered her things, and found herself a new home in the downtown area. She met people the Pearces would have never dared to even breathe the same air with. The wrong crowd, as some people might say. For Ant, they were the only crowd that accepted her without question.

They became her family. The band she formed with them gave her the inspiration to wake up every morning. She loved them almost as much as she loved herself.

When it happened, Ant felt ecstasy crawling up her veins. Oh, she was finally free of their clutches. She was finally free of her insipid mother, her perfect brother, and her cruel father. Her friends had began to loot around when they encountered a Townie that threatened to stop them from destroying the town. That was when Ant discovered that the words she spoke could actually manipulate people. An evil smirk took over her face then. The Coates knew she would be useful, and Ant was willing to do anything for her friends. Rather, she was willing to make people do anything for her friends.

Theme Song:
Bad blood and no holds barred
A warning shot, a sacrifice that we made

character originally created for project myth

Name: Karlie Morgan
Gender: Female
Parent: Skadi the Norse goddess of hunting and winter
Age: 20

Serial Number for prison: 0081

Powers: Can create and manipulate ice or snow

Abilities: A skilled archer; Can sing

Job or Skill: Worked as a part-time bartender while struggling through college

Background: Karlie was left at the side of the road when she was only an infant and was picked up by a couple that ran a diner in a small town. She grew up knowing what her biological parents had done to her, but she never cared for them. They didn't want her, so she doesn't want them. Living in a small town that was almost completely cut off from civilization, Karlie was taught to survive. She learned to hunt for food. She learned to survive the harsh weather of their community. She learned to do everything she could in order to keep herself alive.

But Karlie knew she was destined for big things. As soon as she was able, she moved to the nearest city to live with a relative while she was in high school. Most of the other students found themselves drawn to her bright smile and wild attitude, and Karlie loved it. What she didn't love was when she lost her temper and accidentally set off a snow storm. Thankfully, it had been near winter at that time so not a lot of attention was drawn to her, but it was enough to send her into a state of panic. She returned to her family's home at the mountains for a year in order to sort herself out, never telling her parents about her newfound ability.

After a year, she gained a somewhat considerable amount of control over it. She continued school and acted as normal as she could get. She learned to develop an attitude of not caring about things as much - of freezing her emotions, to say the least. Entering university at an even bigger city had been hard since the Morgan family wasn't exactly swimming in riches. She had to make do with a bartending job at night and classes in the morning.

It was after one of her shifts at the bar that the members of Project Myth apprehended her. Karlie didn't go down without a fight, using her powers more than she had in years. Still, the armed men overpowered her and she was sent into a jail cell.

Ever since being captured, Karlie has tried and tried to break out which increased the security measures on her cells. They made the temperature on the cell rise whenever the presence of ice was detected. Guards were stationed outside her door. For Karlie's part, she's kept quiet for a while now. But that doesn't mean she's not going to try and escape as soon as she finds an opening.

THREAT LEVEL: Extremely Dangerous

a 1x1 rp between dee & Engel

Peridot had been tasked to recover an escaped gem. She's successful, but she may have bitten off more than she bargained for.
I skipped class today so I made the intro post.
Avery allowed her backpack to drop on the floor as she opened the door to her new dorm room. It was sizeable, with two beds on either side of the room. She was informed beforehand that there was a communal bathroom in every floor - their room was in the third - but a supernatural could request a private one if they needed it. Avery highly doubted that she would need it. Plus, just the thought of all the chaos and mischief she could do in a communal bathroom was enough to bring an almost devilish grin to her lips. That had been the reason why she'd chosen the public university over all the other private supernatural-only universities her parents had thrust in her face.

Another upside that public universities had was the fact that she'd have a roommate. She knew how horribly the experience could go, but she was determined to make it horrible for the other party should it happen. She hoped it didn't. She wasn't exactly in the mood to deal with the paperwork necessary should her roommate file for a change.

She shook herself from her thought and dragged her bag over to the middle of the room. "Which one to claim?" she asked herself as she eyed the beds. There was a certain level of privacy afforded by the right side, but Avery hated that it was so far from the door. She could already imagine herself coming into the room and landing face first onto the floor because her bed was too far away. She tossed the bag to the left bed. The rest of her things would arrive soon, and hopefully would her roommate. She sat down on the bed, her back resting on the headboard, before blasting heavy metal Japanese music from her phone. She could feel it in her bones. Her college experience would be a blast.
