SORRY TO EVERYONE FOR DISAPPEARING!

Used to be pretty active ~6 months ago, might be coming back...

Name is Zorogami, but you can call me Zoro. I really enjoy Rping, although it used be an on and off thing until I finally joined the Guild. Since then, I've been lucky enough to meet very friendly and cool people here as well as take part in various interesting RPs. As for settings, I enjoy fantasy and sci-fi worlds the most, but i´m always looking to try out new stuff as well. I like character-driven plots with lots of freedom, since those settings allow for a ton of possibilities in the story. I'm testing the 1x1 RP waters as well, so feel free to hit me up with any ideas if you want!

I guess that's it for now, Maybe I'll see you around?

Im still reading through the "lore", had a pretty busy weekend.
Once im done I'll start coming up with a character. Im thinking a small-time hacker/criminal type-of-guy, in some way augmented (maybe?)
Eusine - Galloway

The monk was on his way back to the tavern, disappointed by how unsuccessful his day had been. Eusine had woken up very early, just as the sun had started to show itself in the horizon, slowly covering the dark city in a light yellow tint. Like every morning, his routine was comprised of meditation, followed by a light breakfast and some martial arts training. After that, Eusine had gone out into the city, talking to the smallfolk and the guards, finding out as much as possible about the beastmen and if there had been any sightings.

He was told plenty of stories, but most of them sounded more like made-up tales than actual sightings and facts. People loved to gossip, exaggerating and making up stuff to make their stories sound more interesting than they really were. It was a custom that Eusine hated and did not understand the need for.

On his journey so far, he had yet to see any signs of beastmen ravaging. There were plenty of supposed sightings and witness reports floating around the land, but Eusine had yet to see anything that proved there was truth to the stories. However, he doubted his brotherhood would sent off their best warriors just because of a few tales, so there had to be something happening somewhere. Something dark and dangerous. He tried to leave his disappointment behind him. If needed, he would leave Galloway on the morrow, in the hopes of coming across something of interest on his path to the next major city.

Eusine turned a corner and the tavern he was staying in came into sight: "The Retired Sword". It didn't offer much, on the other hand the monk was used to leading a simple life, which meant he was not in need of any luxuries.

As Eusine entered the building he was greeted by the warmth of the fire and the smell of meat and spices. It had been quite some time since his last meal, a light, but delicious onion soup back in a little shop in the town's square. The monk's stomach started grumbling, so he approached the man behind the counter, ordering an ale and some meat and bread. The young man fetched him a tankard of ale, and told the monk to take a seat while he prepared his meal. Eusine observed the room.

There were plenty of patrons, some sitting by themselves, others were hanging out in groups, exchanging stories and gossip. Having had more than his share of fantastic tales for a day, Eusine decided to sit down in a lonely corner, where he could eat and drink in peace. A young man who was sitting a few tables closer to the wall made eye contact, and Eusine smiled and nodded back, he didn't want to appear impolite.

His meal arrived shortly after. When Eusine took a bite of the spiced meat, he could feel how his mood slightly improved. He looked out of the windows, obeserving the slowly setting sun...and started to wonder what the next day might bring.
I just wasn't sure if i needed to wait for an update or not before posting, especially since everyone was slowing down the pace.
Anyways, Kyle's newestes IC post is up and he has made it to the facility.
Kyle - Mitis Forest

Another scarecrow went up in flames, but the cyborg didn't get any chance to relax. He could hear another demon approaching behind him, so he rolled to the side and pelted him with bullets from his gatling gun as it flew right by. Counting the one in flames, the total of defeated scarecrows went up to 5, but the pack of demons seemed to be as big as at the beginning. In fact, it appeared to be growing instead of shrinking, some bigger scarecrows seemed to be joining the party as well. Kyle was frustrated, he hadn't gotten any closer to the facility, his plan of directly engaging the enemies seemed to be backfiring. Stop feeling pity for yourself and do something the cyborg thought to himself, as a pair of scarecrows started rushing his position. Kyle dodged out of the way, but he could feel the exhaustion in every single one of his limbs gowing by the second. He need some time to come up with a plan.

A sudden wall of smoke separated the cyborg from the mob of demons, allowing him to slip away undetected. It wouldn't take long however for the scarecrows to find him hiding on top of a tree, just a few feet away from the spot they had been fighting. Kyle used the few seconds his maneuver had given him to check his surroundings again. The facility was about 50ft away, but there was no obvious entry point to be seen. As he focused on the walls though, the cyborg realized that the years and weather had taken its toll on the concrete, crackling it in several locations. A well placed rocket could easily create a hole big enough to enter. If he kept fighting the demons, he would end up too tired to engage his real target, so getting away and into the facility seemed the best course of action.

The cyborg jumped off the tree and immediately starting running towards the facility. He had to dodge around a few scarecrows, but soon enough he had left all the demons behind his back. His thrusters allowed him to move quickly and nimble around any obstacle in his way. Behind him, the demons tried to keep up, but their strength laid in brute force, not speed, and their silhouettes grew smaller and smaller by the second. When the walls were about 10ft away, Kyle initiated his Rhino Module, activating his Rocket Launcher and placing 2 missiles into cracked sections. The hole that was formed due to the explosions was large, but not large enough to fit the cyborg. Screw it, too late Kyle thought, already in mid-jump. Parts of his metal body crashed against the concrete, but the extra armor from his Rhino Module allowed him to get through without too much trouble.

Inside, darkness reigned supreme. There was only a bit of light coming through the hole that Kyle had created, illuminating a few feet in front of him. If he wanted to explore this place, the cyborg needed to either find and activate the power supply...or be extra careful. After he activated his night vision sight, he slowly started making his way through the facility.
