Name of Group: Merrick's RangersType:Private Military ContractorsAssets:Small Base in the Bahamas used for training,Recruitment, and motor poolPersonnel:1000 (400 Operators the other 600 are misc personnel cooks, mechanics, gunsmiths,ETC) History:Merrick's Rangers were a small branch of a much larger corporation during the war at that time they were known as the I&R (Intelligence and Retrieval unit) they excelled at gathering intelligence and recon often times going deep behind enemy lines and causing chaos as well as getting intelligence on their contractors enemies they also excelled at getting prisoners of war out.During the war the company was in high demand especially the I&R branch of it if some high ranking officer got captured you better believe the I&R were there so that their contractors wouldn't waste special forces personnel if some intelligence needed gathering or you needed something deep behind enemy lines taken out their contractor would use I&R were sent in as expendables so precious special operations personnel would not be needed towards the end of the war the detachment started getting called Paulson's rangers after the commanding officer of the unit and because their job was like the rangers of old.A year before the war "Ended" they were on VIP rescue a commanding officer for the united states had been captured and was being interrogated I&R was called in to kill him if he had leaked any intel or to save him if he hasn't they dropped in under the cover of night and infiltrated the prison until a rookie tipped off the enemy by accident soon a firefight commenced and when the dust settled Paulson had been mortally wounded and it didn't look like he was going to make it so he passed command off to his second-in-command Merrick, they completed the mission and got the officer home and from that night on they became known as Merrick's Rangers. After the war after all hell had broken loose Merrick's rangers found themselves out of a job nobody had a use for private contractors anymore and the company went bankrupt but refusing to let go Merrick gathered up whats left of his unit dusted off his old BDU and went to work he hired up as much as he could with the money he had made during the war anyone who was a skilled tradesmen like plumbers, mechanics, gunsmiths, and the like were hired up as well and found them a small niche of land that they can live off of his old training base in the Bahama's and there they remain till this day offering their services up to the highest bidder.

That 3rd paragraph needs to be revised, by the end of the war the USA had become the NAF(North American Federation) and they had pulled out half way through.
Also whats the technological era? I know its 1700 but the world is different enough that we could be more advanced, perhaps we are at the start of the industrial revolution and we have basic steam power and important inventions are coming in?
1 Frigate
3 Brigs
2 Barques
1 Galley
Thats the amount of ships Numburg transferred to me.
And yeah, I can understand not the exact amount being given yet. Im also either going to await for a random event and the colonial fleets to arrive before I post again. The only thing I really want to do right now is to redirect recruits for training up to regular status but thats not worthy of a post of it's own.

Hey, sorry about not being on earlier...anyways I am treating GDP as available funds simply because in a previous version of this I have seen somebody actually go 'I am going to completely reform my infrastructure and build 15 ships of line and another 20 brigs" however people seem a lot more sensible about that so I may make it a guideline...I think I shall do that now...your GDP will go back up. :) Yeah right now I am trying to pick out exact changes I need to make and as was said those were simply the easiest for me to pick out. However with only 2-3 posts per update it is now going to be a lot easier for me.

Even with the 3 post limit per a update thats still 24 posts(8 Nations * 3 post per a nation) to pick through. Must be hard organizing all of the stats.
Also it seems like the ships I got from Numburg weren't added to my sheet, nor any soldiers from the recruiting program.

I'll post while the girlfriend is in Jamaica, and then when she comes back on Sunday (might be Sunday) I won't post in the near future.

You don't know how many disgusting and sexual thoughts are now in my head because of the 2nd part of that statement.

Colony Word 02
"The Princesses have told us that they will wait to decide on whether or not they want your assistance after the diplomatic meeting on Equiis."

Equiis
It was obvious by the courtyard that the Equestrians took pride in two things, nature and there history. There wasn't any signs of civilization in the courtyard, besides the looming castle and cobblestone pathways. The courtyard was filled to the brim with a wide variety of flora and fauna, making it full of life. White marble statues also stood around, along with murals, they depicted people and times in Equestrian history. Within the garden alone it would have been possible to have gotten a basic crash course on Equestrian history prior to the Interstellar Era.

Duck de Steelhorn approached, and like the guards before he was disciplined. If he had any reaction to the battlemasters he did not show it. He merely told the Supremes that the Princesses were ready to see them. They were lead to a wide open chamber, inside waited the four Princesses, the alicorns. They sat in thrones that had there cutiemark emblazoned on it, and each throned matched the coat color schemes of the Princesses. The Thrones along with other more plane seats encircled a holographic projector, which was currently set to display Equiis. Duck de Steelhorn took a seat, and Celestia beckoned at the Supremes, having them take a seat. It was obvious that the Princesses were letting the Supremes speak first.
Alexandrian Contact
"Slavery is a terrible thing, but if it is the only way they can survive that I guess we must accept it."

LCF Request
"Of course, we are arranging for a science team now."
A few hours later a Equestrian ship, smaller then most, arrived. They said they wished to be left alone and were currently beginning to conduct tests via various scans on the object, including various magical scanners.

Colony World 02, Excavation Site
Two griffons were walking through a tunnel. It was discovered that this planet had been apart of the Aif Empire that the LCF had mentioned. The Anti-proton weapons had been taken away for study, although some were still left on the old orbiting defense stations. They had also discovered data archives, which the griffons were looking for more of, that revealed information about the Aif Empire. The LCF had been informed that the Equestrians were attempting to crack the archives, hoping to find more about the past.
