Archmages, forming neural links and using spells to pressurize and develop a atmosphere within the Makudan and there ships occurs. Through a quick series of messages they communicate and ask them to combine there magical energy with them. The spell the Archmages had in mind destroyed magical energy rapidly, but in there weakened state they needed the support of the Makudan. If the spell were to be used Retsukuu would be completely destroyed or weakened enough toe be easily imprisoned.

A bit confused at the sudden disappearance of the new contact, the ships return there normal duties as the trade planet once more flowed with various materials and items.

What Retsukuu didn't account for his that Equestrian ships have remote self destructs that don't need to activate. Escape pods fled from the 40,000 has the erupted in a giant explosion. The other ships quickly spread out as various Archmages got together and formed a magical field, attempting to repulse Retsukuu away from the ship. Faust had not yet intervened, but watched the situation closely. The ships spread out from eachother, far enough away that if one was afflicted by the possession thing again it could not jump from ship to ship.
