Yes to the first, but no to the second. I'd have thought the fact I fumbled a ritual made that quite obvious that this was not a state I attained intentionally.

It's hard to describe, honestly. But imagine, if you will, a little house inside of your soul that you could withdraw to at any moment. But also imagine that you are the house as well as the soul.

One to take control of an empty pocket dimension. I wanted a home away from home so to speak, but I messed up the incantation and merged my soul with the target of my desires instead. Now I am its demiurge of sorts, a god of a largely isolated realm. Though this is far better than being human, so it's not all that bad.

I can't say I know, really. I did fumble a ritual, however, so perhaps that is how I ended up in this predicament. Still, I've made the best of it as one must.
