"Kid movies are fun." Nathaniel said calmly. "If they're good I mean." He then added. "It's just... We live in a world where we're pretty much expected to be adults. So... Escaping into childhood sometimes or just enjoying a moment of peace and not having to be an adult... It's just... Nice." He explained his reasoning.
Nathaniel got up and followed her at a normal pace only moving fast enough to grab her. He hugged her from behind and kissed her cheek. "Awwww. Don't be like that. I was just kidding. You're my first real girlfriend. And I like it this way." He said smiling as he held her tight.
*tackles Ace* You will stay!
"Oh man... There's so many to count. Where do I begin?" Nathaniel said with a bit of a laugh. He really hadn't had a real girlfriend before. What with his superhero career and generally not being interested with many of the women he met he couldn't really say he had much relationship experience. Dating was another story though.
"It doesn't work on the kind of girls I like. So why bother." Nathaniel said with a small laugh. "Besides. Getting close to other more girly girls isn't really a problem. They don't really say no to me." He added poking her side.
"You never really sounded all that smart to begin with." Nathaniel commented obviously just messing with her to make her a little mad. "And what? Animated movies can be awesome." He said calmly.
nathaniel thought for a moment before deciding to say what he thought would be the cheesiest thing he could think of. He thought it would get the point across, but also keep the mood light and playful. "I just sped into your heart before you could completely close it off." He said as he played with her hair. "Hey... This is gonna sound childish. But I wanna watch How to Train Your Dragon." He then said getting back to the movie. "If that's okay."
Nathaniel sighed. "You know. As much as i don't want to say this. You and my mom have a lot in common. Like scary a lot. Background wise. And attitude wise to be honest. She'll probably understand better than anyone. Literally better than anyone." Nate seemed to shudder when he said that. It was kind of weird right? Just a little. "Just..." He paused with a sigh. "Look... If you don't wanna come. I won't force you."
