I think I'd like to steer away from Teleporting. Mostly because it is easy to take advantage of when fighting or doing other things. I'm not saying you would or anything, but as a general thing I try to steer away from it in RPs where characters will fight on occasion.

I'm not so sure about Teleportation... I never am in RPs. I'd be fine with the phasing through objects and walking horizontally up vertical surfaces is fine.

I got that info from the wiki so I'm not entirely sure on the info.

Still that doesn't mean teleporting is completely out. I'd be willing to hear you out.
