If I may make a suggestion in terms of half dragon-ness in the rather standard way you appear to be shooting for. Especially for the use of a Kingdom Hearts game. May I point you to Sleeping beauties world where faies, dragons, and the like are a thing? Say a boy is in the care of a minor Fae court and when the darkness came to swallow them they gave the boy the only thing they could to protect him; the gift of power. Maleficent turned into a dragon after all and she was Fae. I'd wager a group of Fae could be able and willing to turn their human friend into something sufficiently dragon-esq for what you appear to wish to do. Though that does rather mess you having a Katana. seriously doubt a katana would be readily found in high fantasy europe land. Unless you picked it up while world hopping before you were found by Yen Sid. Though given your are apparently playing a key blade master the Katana seems like dead weight to me.
Oh yeah... I know not of the sleeping beauty, but Maleficent does have the whole dragon thing going on. XD

I'm just saying that I do kind of agree with Redwing that if you're going to be from a world you should be limited to it's resources until you gain more from other worlds and what not.

Well in all fairness you would need to have a world or explanation appropriate and relevant to Kingdom Hearts in order to actually have a proper Half Dragon. As far as I know there aren't any worlds in KH or Disney as a whole with proper explanation or something along the lines of various living dragons, or something like that.
Also what is a "proper" half dragon.
As far as I know you can either be the child of a dragon and a human, have dragons abilities or parts put into you somehow, or... I don't even know... is there really any such thing as a "proper" half dragon?
