Yes i do remember that one.
Personally, I liked it, but I feel the EM Wave Change works a little better, has stronger world wide usage, and there's the fact that they could easily interact with non program things like cars and stuff, by switching their frequency, or whatever it is they did XD

Naruto: Clash of Wills

Our beloved Naruto has come to end, giving us mixed feelings of happiness and sorrow. For many of us it has been a big part of our lives since it first began. Masashi gave us a good ending, but now it’s time for more. Naruto's generation has come to an end, and now another begins. It is time for the grandchild of those ninja to have a chance in the spotlight. Naruto's time as the Hokage was one of peace for all Shinobi nations, but that has come to an end. A new Hokage has taken his place. This one doesn't have the same pure heart that our orange jumpsuit wearing friend did. He's bored with all this peace and is willing to go to great lengths to end it. Including tricking his own loyal Shinobi into doing his dirty work.

The era of peace was long and good. But now it is over. Now a new generation of heroes will rise up and defend the peace their grandparents fought so hard for.

• As you can probably guess there will be spoilers in this RP. So you should be wary. I try not to ruin things, but I can’t see the RP running without spoilers. You have been warned.

• My character is kind of an Uchiha, but I’m not sure if I want him to have Sharingan or not. And his last name is Uzumaki.


• There will only be one other Uchiha than mine (Character wise, not NPC wise I mean his mom doesn’t take up the spot… duh XD). After all, the Uchiha clan should be pretty small still.

Work in Progress

Nagato

Nagato was born with looks very much akin to his great grandfather Minato namikaze. Blonde hair, and blue eyes, though without the whisker marks sported by his father and Grandfather. He stands at about 5 ft. tall weighing in at about 100lbs. Generally his usual outfit is as shown, though he does, when going on missions packs a few ninja tools, mentioned in the equipment section, and a few other minor things, mostly for hygiene and money and the like. All that is packed is held in a simple back pack with his money held in a small green toad themed pouch he affectionately refers to as "Gama", a habit picked up from his father. Though he tends to do this when other's aren't around to ridicule him.

Kekkei Genkai: Though he is an Uchiha by blood, Nagato has so far shown no signs of holding the Sharigan.

Other Clan Traits: Being of both Uzumaki and Uchiha descent, Nagato has been blessed with traits of both clans. As an Uzumaki, he holds an incredibly strong life force which can both endure and survive most grievous injuries plus incredible longevity, as well as great recuperative powers. He is able to quickly recover from extreme exhaustion and mend most injuries in shorter periods of time than the natural human. This is nothing like the recuperative ability of say Naruto or Karin. As an Uchiha, he holds powerful chakra, with a capability for exceptionally strong techniques, and a natural aptitude for anything combat-related. He also has a natural affinity for the Fire Release nature transformation. Though he has yet to show any skill greater than that of the Great Fireball Jutsu.

Personality: Nagato is, among many things, hardworking. Being who he is, he always feels he has something to prove. And yet somehow feels that he is a disappointment when compared to his lineage. Still he always puts in 1000%. He gives until he can't give anymore and then... he gives more. Not many things get to him. But the things that do... Well... You can probably figure it out. So long as he sees you as an ally and companion he'll treat you as such. Among his hardworking and kind nature he can also be described as intelligent, creative, cunning, and when it comes to battle a bit more serious. Though this usually doesn't apply to simple sparring and training unless the stake are high.

History: Naruto’s time as Hokage was truly a god given era. Times were god, prosperous even. Most problem generally did not range higher than bandits, or some kind of small organized crime. Most, if not all, missions were fairly simple to deal with. Needless to say for various ninja, Naruto included, things were rather boring. However, with work like this his official duties had the tendency to decrease and become easier on occasion. Like any father and husband he spent his extra time with his family. He watched his children grow into fine adults along with the children of his friends. He watched his son fall in love and marry the daughter of his best friend and former Teammates Sakura and Sasuke. He was present for the birth of his first grandchild. Bolt and Sarada, together had a request that day. Naruto gladly listened to it and was amazed when they asked him to name the child. Some many names flooded his mind. So many people had come and gone from his life. So many had impacted it in so many ways. In the end he decided on Nagato. Nagato Uzumaki.

Nagato would was a child of many talents. By the age of four he'd begun to train after watching his mother and father. He would visit his grandfather and listen to stories about the good old days. Though some things may have been tones down. Such as events involving his other grandfather. He loved hearing the stories. And afterwards he would be ready to attempt more training and learning with his father. At least when he was home anyway. He was a shinobi after all who occasionally would go off on missions. However, one time he went away. And never returned. Nagato was 7 at that time. Even after a year passed and he turned 8 he refused to give up hope that his father was somewhere out there, even if the village had assumed him dead. Nagato had already begun the academy shortly before he left. His father had actually seen him off on his first day of school.

Time passed once more and he was soon 10. This was the year his grandfather past away. Naruto left his him a key. Well he left his mother key and him a note. When his mother gave him the key he would be given access to a room that he'd not been allowed to enter for some time. He still has that letter. He keeps it safe along with a picture of his grandfather and his father in his room. He prays for them each night. For his grandfather to rest in peace and for his father to remain safe, as he has yet to give up. For now though, he focuses on his goal to become a powerful ninja. He wishes to not only live up to his lineage, but to surpass it. He'll be greater than all who came before him.

Jonin

Mitsuki stands at about 5'9" weighing "a perfect none of your damn business". The rest about her can be ascertained by her image. Just ignore the headband... It should be a leaf symbol.

Skills:
- Fighting: Mitsuki is skilled in close quarters combat. Not very powerful, but she also has her mind.
- Intelligence: Mitsuki relies on her mind far more than brute force, like most if not all the Nara. She comes up with plans, thinking multiple steps ahead. As long as nobody makes her angry.
- Facial Reading: By reading a person's face it is possible to tell whether they are lying. Some are trained to go against this, but most are not. Mitsuki can essentially tell when people are and aren't lying without the use of Jutsu.
- Lying: Because she knows how the lying works she can do it pretty well herself.
- Stealth: While capable in head on battles and more straightforward situations, Mitsuki is very skilled and much more suited for stealthy operations.
Specialty: Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, Chakra Control, Chakra Manipulation, other minor skills.
- Medical knowledge: Mitsuki has adept knowledge of medical ninjutsu, among other areas of the field. Though it is not her specialty, she felt it necessary to learn.

I is not the strongest shield, but it works fairly well.
- Shadow Senbon Acupuncture: Another technique created by Mitsuki, she is able to focus and mold her chakra and shadow into senbon and use them to effectively strike an opponent's pressure points. The amount of chakra and focus is high making it a last resort and the effects only last about 180 seconds (3 minutes, but she counts the seconds) thus she must move quick to dispatch enemies or get away.

Other Clan Traits: The Nara Clan generally seem to hold great intelligence and a knack for strategy.
Personality: Mitsuki is not perfect, though she likes to think she is pretty damn close to it. She holds pride in her looks and figure and it shows occasionally. She generally hates to go out of her way and do more than necessary though she isn't as lazy as many of her predecessors. She has a bit of an anger problem depending on the subject, though generally tries to keep her cool. She's intelligent, though somewhat useless when it comes to household chores like cooking, cleaning, etc.
History: A child of the Nara clan, Mitsuki had a bit less pressure as her older brother handled most things. Still there were expectations of her and she reached them. Shikamaru did well in raising his children. Though it is obvious which one took after him more and it was certainly not Mitsuki. She went through the academy, and jumped through the ranks completing missions fairly efficiently. She had a few outbursts, but most were normal and as she put it "The bastards had it coming to them."

Redwing

Makoto very much resembles his great uncle, to the point that anybody still alive from that era finds it difficult to look at him without feeling sadness. He has the same chocolate brown hair, though his goes to his chin, and the typical pale Hyuga eyes. He usually keeps his hair in a ponytail, but will also just leave it loose. He's about 5 foot 2 and weighs roughly 110 pounds. He wears long dark red pants that are snug at the waist but then loose everywhere else, a black form fitting tank top underneath which is a mesh armor shirt, black fingerless gloves with a metal plating on the back of the hand, and wrappings around his ankles. Along with the typical ninja sandals, in blue, and his headband which he wears as a hairband, proudly showing off the curse mark on his forehead. The normal ninja tool pouch is also on his right thigh.

Rank: Genin

Skills: Protection, Makoto is very good at protecting his allies.
Multitasking, He's really good at doing more than one thing at once and saying on track of each thing.
Movement, one of his strong suits is movement, along with agility, dexterity, and grace. Watching him fighting is like watching somebody dance.
Control, whether chakra, physical, mental, or any other type of control (Save for emotional) Makoto is very good at it.

Specialty: Chakra control and Gentle Fist style Taijutsu

Equipment: On top of the typical ninja weapons, Makoto also carries around a tessen, a foldable metal fan with a sharped edge. Its able to fold because the joints are made of something lighter than metal. The Konoha symbol has been engraved in the center of the fan.

Kekkei Genkai: Byakugan

Other Clan Traits: Due to their Gentle Fist training, Hyugas tend to have excellent chakra control. They can also expel chakra from every chakra point in their body.

Personality: Makoto is more expressive than every other member of his clan combined into one. He tends to wear his heart on his sleeve, you know exactly how he feels at any given time. He's incredibly stubborn and protective by nature. He's usually quiet and a tiny bit on the shy side. But he likes people well enough. The best way to get him talking is by asking him questions, he might give you short answers though. He's proud but not so much that he won't accept help. While intelligent, he isn't quite genius level. He cares a lot more about other people than himself and will always put them first. He doesn't like people worrying about him, so he'll hide his injuries and weakness from them.

History: After Neji's father died, his mother remarried and had one more child, another boy. This boy eventually had a boy of his own, that being Makoto. Thus linking him to Neji. Though born of the branch family, he's always been treated as more of the main family, because he resembles his great uncle so much. Though he still bears the curse mark. With a touch of Hinata's shyness, during the first year at the academy, he mainly stuck to himself. Eventually branching out and becoming a little more social, though not by much. His family had high hopes for him because of Neji's success during his academy years. And since the two looks alike, why not act alike? They were disappointed when it turned out that Makoto was exactly in the middle of class, a perfectly average ninja. Which in its own right is still pretty impressive.

Other: Makoto most definitely has the Will of Fire.
Despite being perfectly average in the academy, as a Genin he seems far too tough for that. He held back during the academy because he didn't want people to compare him to a dead guy he never knew.

Duthguy

Yakuya has brown hair like his grandmother, while his black eyes clearly come his father. Like all Akimichi he is rather stocky at 5 foot 3 with a weight of 154 pounds. His skin color is darker than that of most people from Konohagakure but lighter than his mothers ( think about the same as Karui during part 2)

Personality: Yakuya is friendly and easy going. Like his grandmother Chōchō he isn't at all embarrassed about his figure, and doesn't mind some friendly teasing. However he absolutely isn't someone you want to anger.
History: When Yakuya was five years old he ate some poisonous berries though his life was never in any danger, this still was the event that, combined with his Clan's big eater habits, led to his decision to make sure he would never have to worry about finding food while on missions. When he entered the Academy he easily made friends thanks to his personality. As for grades he was among the best when it came to strength based taijutsu his stamina was lacking though, and he was downright terrible at genjutsu, in everything else he was slightly below average.

Sage Transformation is a bodily reaction in those with Jūgo's Clan's Kekkei Genkai to Senjutsu Chakra which results in increased physical capabilities similar to Sage Mode and the possibility to perform various shape-shifting feats. Shiori on the other hand is a descendant of the clan, by her late Father. The members of this clan possess the innate ability to absorb natural energy from their surroundings due to their unique bodies, however, the adverse effects of this energy results in sudden and uncontrollable surges of madness, causing them to sporadically go berserk. Their unique bodies also secrete special fluids that allow them to undergo various drastic physical alterations. She can only transform into her partial tattooed state only.(Will unlock the full tattooed in the story)

Other Clan Traits:
Rage equals Insanity, more of a trait of her Father's side from "Jugo Clan". At the same time being half Uzumaki gives her strong vitality, and strong chakra pool though its quantity is smaller due to her being a half blooded Uzumaki.

Personality:
Shiori is someone whom you can never piss off otherwise you'll be in the hospital bed for a week. Shiori is frank, legit bluntly honest which comes out as cold and mean because of her belief; truth of authority is equivalent to justice that will educate people and herself. She was a smartass; looks down on troublemakers and is quick to criticise them and with that she received the title "Ice Queen". More or less, she cares about the well being of her comrades in spite of her being mean. When expressing herself, words that she may say are either coming out wrong or just in the tip of her tongue, that is why she resorts to vulgar words and just say, idiot for the time being. Despite being a jerk herself, her kindness is warm as it gets but don't ever get used to it, she hates people taking her for granted and you know what will happen to you when you troll her.

As of late, she took a level of kindness and is less aggressive but still has tones of her incapability of expressing herself with less violence and vulgar foulness. But in overall, she's tamed and more wiser than before.

History:
Pretty much all of her private issues is dictated at her past, being born without a Father scarred her a lot and having a Mother who barely has time for her daughter even scarred her more. Like the commoners in the village, Shiori is born in the village itself and grew up in it as well, she lives alone most of them times in her apartment and her mother rarely comes due to business traveling projects. Currently, she is picking up her own pace and less angst, ready to stand on her two feet.

Kekkei Genkai: Jerin is one of the members of the Uchiha clan that can utilize the Sharingan.
Other Clan Traits: As an Uchiha, Jerin holds powerful chakra, with the capability for exceptionally strong techniques, as well as a natural aptitude for anything combat-related, from taijutsu to the Uchiha specilization of shurikenjutsu. He also has a natural affinity for the Fire Release nature transformation.
Personality: Caring and protective, but hidden under a cool and unattached external facade that can be broken if you know how.
History: Jerin is the youngest child of Sasuke and Sakura Uchiha and the only son. Growing up, Sasuke spent a lot of time with him to help them both escape a house full of females and so Sasuke could begin training him to be the best ninja he could and bring pride to the Uchiha name that Jerin's grandparents had managed to destroy when they plotted to attack Konoha. One of the first techniques the young boy mastered was the Great Fireball Technique, a ninjutsu that the Uchiha clan had been using for years. Then came the Uchiha Flame Formation and several others, with the young boy taking to any combat oriented challenge thrown his way, mastering most tai and ninjutsu techniques he saw and was taught very quickly. This resulted in him graduating top of his class from the Academy.

As he grew older, he and his team grew exponentially in skill and both individual and team strength, soon taking A ranked missions on a regular basis. After the Jonin exams, which he passed, he and the team medic, Emiko, formed their own team with only the two of them. This ended in tragedy when Emiko was killed by a rival team from the Village hidden in the Sand, Sunagakure. As she bled out in his arms, an ironic fate for a medic, his sharingan awakened and he finished the mission, returning home with the body of his fallen comrade.

Geas Blades
--By channeling ones chakra they can form blades made of chakra that float around the users arm, they are directed by swinging around the arm is slashing or thrusting motions with the blade following suit. The chakra blades are used as weapons for the primary fighting technique. This technique requires a deep chakra pool and proficient chakra control to use, because without the control the blade would lose its durability and its shape, as well as without the deep pool it wouldn't last long at all.

History: Genji's immediate family is the only one of their clan in Kohonagakure, not because any sob story of his clan being slaughtered, just because they weren't happy where they lived before and decided to up and move. They chose Kohonagakure when Genji was 6 because of its history and it's commonly held ideals. When they arrived they were openly welcomed but shinobi are naturally wary and thus distrust has been cast their way, but they didnt mind they understood how the others felt and just strived to do all they could to contribute to booming city. His father and mother were hard working shinobi taking any job they could with enthusiasm, his older sister kept the house and looked after him while their parents were away.

Ever since Genji could remember he had wanted to be a shinobi like his parents were. He would pretend Ninja when he was a child nearly all the time, they kid had no natural talent though, he was fairly clumsy as a child and often make a mess by crashing into everything. As he grew older he began to beg his parents to allow him into the academy, and as he grew of age they allowed it. Genji was more than enthusiastic at school and it pushed alot of kids away, he would be called teachers pet or just in general avoiding do to being obnoxious about being a ninja. Upon graduating he had determined his affinity for the more physical aspect of being a ninja, the once highly clumsy child was now very coordinated and in tune with his body.

Redwing

Haruka stands at about 5 feet tall and weighs a little under 100 pounds. Thin and gangly with not much in the way of a girlish figure. Simply replace the weird symbol under her eye with the red fang marks of the Inuzuka. I would have used a better picture but was what I found that I liked. Also, because you can't see them, she's wearing black ninja sandals on her feet. Like all of her clan she has sharpened canine teeth and claw like nails.

Skills: Tracking, like all of her clan she's good at both literally and figuratively sniffing people out.
Animals, she's absolutely great with animals, mostly dogs, especially the kind that have been abused in the past.
Speed, she is pretty damn fast, one of if not the fastest in her class at the academy.
Agility, she can run, jump, and twist her way around the battlefield with ease.

Equipment: Haruka carries around the normal ninja tools, along with a seemingly endless bag of dog treats, that does actually have an end.

Kekkei Genkai: The Inuzuka don't really have a Kekkei Genkai. But I'm going to consider the fact that they can talk to dogs one.

Other Clan Traits: As mentioned above, the Inuzuka possess sharpened canine teeth and claw like nails. They have heightened senses, especially their sense of smell and by channeling chakra into their nose can strengthen it even further.

Personality: Bold and sharp tongued, Haruka isn't afraid to say whats on her mind and tends to both speak and act before she thinks. Loud and friendly, she tends to get physical with her friends and shows affection in sometimes violent ways. But she really does mean well. She's caring and motherly, especially towards animals. But will always be the first to laugh when somebody, including herself does something stupid. She's nearly fearless, which causes her to do something rather stupid things at times. She'll listen to the advice of others, and though usually ignores it, will appreciate it all the same. Just because she chooses to ignore authority figures and rules doesn't mean she hates them. Its just more fun that way.

History: One of Haruka's earliest memories was meeting her lifelong companion Tsuki. The two fell in love almost instantly and been side by side ever since. Nobody is really sure where her red hair and eyes come from. Considering they don't know who her father is (Don't worry, none Gaara or an Uchiha) and her mother died shortly after giving brith to the girl. But they don't really care. Its pretty damn obvious that she's an Inuzuka. During her academy years she made friends easily but also angered a lot of people due to her personality. She was always at the top of her class when it came to speed or tracking people down. In Taijutsu she was still above average. But Ninjutsu and most definitely Genjutsu lacked big time. She's more of a one trick pony than a well rounded fighter.

Other: Like her doggy companion, Haruka is colorblind. Though mostly keeps it to herself, since it isn't really what she would consider an important detail about herself

While gameplay mechanics may differ, RP wise it wouldn't be very hard to learn and understand.
RPing the scenarios would be fairly easy if you're willing to try.
This'll probably take a few days to a week to properly think over and flesh out for you guys.

You're right they wouldn't know. But they aren't trying to make the EM wave change. They're trying to create and expand the world wide system that utilizes the EM waves the Geo tells us about in the beginning of the game. Situations and circumstances during the activation of said system, or machine at this early stage, would cause our (The player's) Navis to react and change in a way. Stumbling onto the actual EM Wave change would be a mere coincidence. And even if it was not we could always introduce an AMian and/or FMian to help establish it for our characters. Even then the scientists might not know or even find out.

Even if their are loose ends and point you could nit pick I'm sure I (or we) could come up with something to allow the story to work and progress. Ya know? Megaman as a whole has a history of making certain things a bit plot hole ridden and ambiguous. Which allowed them to tell the story they wanted while giving employers and fans what they wanted. I may or may not have been studying up a bit and watching youtube videos to help with planning... XD

EDIT: I also fear you may be forgetting that EM Waves aren't simply what allow the transformations. They are simply the Electromagnetic waves that surround the earth. The scientists would be using them to convert from the basic and older Network system to a newer system with larger capabilities and such. http://megaman.wikia.com/wiki/EM_WaveThey're more important than just allowing a human to undergo EM Wave Change. That is just one thing that can be done and one part of a the hole that most humans in the serious for a time didn't even know about. It's possible the scientists could be trying to make one thing and accidentally create another throughout their success. Even without knowing they made an "extra discovery".

The events of Battle network take place in 20XX and the events of Star Force in 22XX. Giving this information we can assume that at some point in the span of the 200 or so years they implemented a new system making the previous navi system obsolete.

Say we run a parallel universe of sorts where we roughly follow the Battle Network and Star Force time line. Keeping this in mind we could say that the lore we know so far exist, however, we'll serve as a sort of inbetween.

Here me out. It really isn't as complicated as you may think. Now I'm not sure about the official information, but lets say our megaman RP takes place in about 21XX. About halfway between the two series. A brilliant scientist with a team at his and/or her disposal is working on a world wide network of sort that would make the current one almost obsolete. The new EM Wave system (I don't really know and/or remember the system if it was explained, but bleh) is progressing properly. One of our characters could have a bond or relation to someone on the project (for story purposes). We find out that a group of terrorists of sorts are out to take control of the project. Even though we aren't really supposed to, of course, we'll get in the way being the great net battlers we are and such.

Seem fairly fleshed out and put together Zar? I can try and tie up other loose ends.

So what would you guys think of starting off in a Battle Network type setting and having our NetNavis and transitioning into a setting in which we can combine with our Navis. It's be like... A new system is implements which would make the EM waves and span across the globe and stuff.
This opens up possibilities. Maybe our Navis were more then just programs. They could have been AMians or FMians. Or they could have just been affected in such a way that they changed after the activation because we were close to the project after having saved it from net terrorists of some kind.
What do you all think of that?

I've really gotten back into Mega Man thanks to the amazing comics, so my vote goes for that. Either Classic or Battle Network because those are the ones I seem to be most familiar with but yeah....If the latter I am totally making my Navi be based on Tempo/Quake Woman. >.> <.<

I think I hold most of my knowledge in either BN or SF.
Because I played those games more and actually read.
Ya see when I first played the older megaman games i was younger, dumber and thought "skip past the text and story" like an idiot XD
I also feel those two being kind of in the same continuity would be simple enough to cross over if it came to that.
Maybe make up a little universe where there are Navi. And the characters can battle with them and later on make it so they can like kind of merge. Like with Lan and Chaud and Megaman and Protoman. Idk... I'm thinking a lot on Megaman.

I thought about that, but I don't think it's what I want. If I made an RP the Uchiha clan would be fairly small for now.
