The digital world is under siege. It seems to be falling apart. Parts of the world are quite literally breaking apart. The causes of this growing madness are the servants of Belphemon and the mysterious objects of power they are searching for. These dark items, take the form of large crystal like objects in the shape of shards. As though part of a bigger item they must be collected. The dark energy stored within them is corrupting the world, but once brought together they will empower and awaken Belphemon.
It is up to the digi-destined to work together with their digital partners and each other to find the shards themselves and purify them using the powers of their digivices. Only they stand in the way of the evil which looms over the digital world.
Things to know:
Now for the digivolution and digivice.
For this RP we will be using the digimodify method. What does this mean? We'll use the cards. However, this'll be somewhat special. Since different types of digivolution such as DNA digivolution, digiarmor digivolution, etc. yield different results we'll merge the forms. Thus, you may choose your own preferred digivolution type.
If you prefer Digiarmor as opposed to receiving the usual digivolution cards, you would receive a digiarmor card. This would result in scanning the card and activating it. For example, "Digimodify! Digiarmor energize!". The same would be said for something like DNA digivolution. You would receive a DNA card. This would result in something like "Digimodify! DNA Charge!" This would be the same for any form of evolution.
Digivice:
***Using this digivice may or may not leave a possibility for access to the legendary spirits for the digidestined***In addition to the type of evolution, the digivice we all use will be a modified version of the D-Tector from season 4 (AKA Frontier). The D-Tector is modified so that the fractal scanner is there, but considerably smaller and moved further into the corner of the top of the digivice. This corner is in the upper right corner of the digivice just about the screen. As you may know that is essentially where the fractal scanner is only it is significantly smaller. Behind it is the card reader which runs along the top. What does this mean? It incorporates both the card reader and the fractal scanner.
The fractal scanner acts as a data drive of sorts. The fractal scanner, can scan, absorb and store items by dematerializing them and holding them as data. corrupted data, such as that of the dark shards, are purified while held, though this does take time. Other such items which can be stored in the digivice are the cards we will use to make our digimon digivolve. When needed the digivice will materialize the cards for the digidestined to use by swiping said cards through the card reader.

- It is likely that there may be death. There will most certainly be destruction. Some gore may be allowed. Within reason, of course. >_>
- Romance is allowed. However, please take sex and stuff to PM or fade to black or whatever.
- Have fun and try to be as active as your schedule allows. Let someone know whether or not you'll need to go if you can.

Digivice: This is just a basic idea of what Dorian's D-Tector's color scheme is. I took a D-Tector Outline and tried to color it so it is kinda crappy, but this is the basic idea.

Personality: Dorian is a pretty nice guys. He is more noticeably, and visually kind and caring than his partner, but overall they have likeminds. He is the type to play a prank or two all in good fun and joke around. He can get serious, but it is rare. He's also quite to try and settle things with a brawl or by throwing down as opposed to talking it out. Sure he'll try and avoid it if it seems like fighting would just be the wrong thing to do, but when dealing with fire he tends to fight back with fire.
History: Dorian has always been a likeable guy with a good heart. He went to a good school, but among a school of smart guys and girls he looked a bit slower. Not to say he's stupid, because he wasn't. But in one of the best schools where everyone got A's and who didn't got B's he was in the 1% who breezed by with C's and D's, save for Phys. Ed. Still only the assholes and idiots ever really messed with him. Mostly everyone liked him, although he did have a bit to live up two with the place being his parent's alma mater. He felt like a failure. And it was only high school! But he would always move on and do his best. He had his own skills. 80% of them were physically based, 15% game based, and 5% household and school, but he had a fair amount of skills. He could at least take pride in his strength and skill in the physical portions of life. Which he planned to make a living if possible. He has big dreams, though he tends to be afraid of stating them as he dislikes people brushing them off or laughing at them.

Digimon: Impmon
Name/Nickname: Impmon has various nicknames from his tamer based on his form or whatever Dorian is in the mood for.
Personality: Impmon is a bit mischievous, but overall has a heart of gold. He actually cares about his tamer and the other digidestined, not to mention their digimon. However, he doesn't display it well. Not until it counts. He's brash, reckless, has a tendency to mess with even his friends and is quick to fight, which is just fine with Dorian.
