I'm thinking I might actually use Ceresmon right now though.

Megaman: The EM Battle Network

The year is 21XX. A brilliant scientist with an entire team at her disposal study Electromagnetic Waves and the possibility of using them to replace the current networking system used in the world. Chances are it could prove to be much more efficient than the current system and make things run much smoother. The project seems to have been running smoothly, however, there have been certain complications as of late. The new system could prove revolutionary and quite innovative. And yet a group of supposed terrorists have been taking any and all chances to hold up the project. They can possibly put an end to it or perhaps take it over. Nobody is quite sure of this secretive group’s motives. Using there Net Navi’s they have caused countless incidents and have been doing more and more. Usual security navi’s and such have been getting less and less useful as they have been growing stronger. Who can help? What can really be done? ------------------------------------------ Things to know:

• I have pretty much only Played the original Megaman Battle network Game, Battle Network 5 Team Protoman and scarcely watched the anime. Therefore I have enough knowledge that I wanna make the RP, but not so much that I’m the best versed. [/*]
• We will not be in the exact Battle Network timeline. We’ll be about halfway between Battle Network and Star Force in a sort of parallel world. Most things are the same, but not all.[/*]
• I don’t mind you using OC Navi’s or some kind of variation of existing Navi’s. Just don’t be too nuts about it.[/*]
• This RP, if successful, could have a possible sequel in the form of a Star Force type story line. *fingers crossed*[/*]
• Of course, as Net Battlers we’ll interfere. There’ll need to be a character with some sort of connection to the scientist though.[/*]

Mah Character

Stands at about 5'7" with a fair build for someone his age and size who engages in fairly regular exercise and eats well. He is usually seen with his headphones, some form of hoodie over a shirt with varying designs and jeans or sweats and sneakers, he's a casual dresser. He also always has "those weird metal things" on his face as other's refer to them. Nobody knows what they do. Actually they don't do anything. They were supposed to, but the project failed. Thus, thinking they looked good on him, Hiro continues to wear them because he likes them and may revisit the project he barely remembers. Name: Hiroshi "Hiro" Alexander Age: 16 Gender: Male PET: Hiro owns a Link PET EX with a color scheme matching that of his navi holding a white base, black top and a yellow trim, and red accents added to the detail. Skills: - Inventing: Hiro is a skilled inventor enjoying toying with machinery, tinkering, and upgrading machines and pieces of tech. It is also possible that he could build machines among other things from scratch. - Programming: Hiro is quite proud of his programming skills having been able to remake and utilize his own version of the Style change system with his Custom NetNavi Xero.EXE who he also customized, programmed and designed with his father when he was younger. He continues to upgrade and keep him Maintained to this day. - Brawling: Hiro isn't a trained fighter or anything, but he can at least defend himself a bit should the need arise. He's a scrappy dude. - Hacking: You probably know where this is going. He is skilled in the field of computers and machinery. Good genetics he guesses. Personality: Hiro has essentially been deemed and effectively is a young genius. However, he is a bit of a slacker when it comes to things that don't interest him. He gets good grades and stuff, but essentially he tends not to like doing anything he doesn't really like. Thus, he slacks off a bit. When he does get excited and into something you'll know. History: Hiro's father was a skilled Engineer and his mother praised Inventor in her time. However, she settled down when she had Hiro. His father continued to work, but not very much. They got by well and had money saved so it wasn't a problem. He grew up happily spending time with them and showed off his growing intellect, of which they were very proud. "Good genes I tell ya." His father went on and on about all the time. His mother would giggle and agree. Around the time he turn 13, his parents received an over to work overseas. This would mean that he was left alone. It wasn't like it was a bad thing though. With trusted teachers, neighbors and friends he would be fine. Thus he urged them to go. They reluctantly agreed and soon he was left to live by himself. He would receive money often and had help to keep healthy. So there was no really need to worry. Time has gone by and somehow he's gone from the young enthusiastic boy who was interested in EVERYTHING to the young man who does as he pleases. Possibly a side effect of being alone, but whatever. Other: I may add something at a later time. Navi Name: Xero.EXE {pronounced Zero} Navi Type: Custom Navi Weapon(s): Energy Scythe, and Energy blades which attach to the dorsal surfaces of his hands. Elemental Alignment: Light though it is subject to change through use of the style change program. Personality: Ever worried about his owner, Xero is somewhat a voice of reason generally urging Hiro to make more friends and participate in more activities. He isn't really the enthusiastic and emotional type, but he voices his opinion. He's the cool and collected type that actually care and isn't a jerk. Or at least, not intentionally a jerk. Other: uses his scythe to fight, mostly keeping things close to mid range. The two energy blades that look like they're hanging, are actually deactivated most of the time taking the form of just the white and yellow base pieces connected to the bottom of his "backpack" (think the megaman backpack, but a bit different). If the scythe is broken, or knocked away or something the base of the energy blades will activate and connect to the dorsal surfaces of his hands (the top of the hand where the knuckles are) and be used to battle. also uses the style change program recreated by Iggy. It allows his blades to use different abilities. For example, if he changes to fire the energy burns and sends fire waves. Water is like fire, but water. Ice will freeze what it hits temporarily. But then each form can be counters by the opposing element. The chips carried around by Hiro Include: - 3 Area Steal: Unlike in the games (as seen in the anime I believe) Area steal works sort of like high speed movement. Allowing the navi to evade attacks, make last effort saves or moves, or get behind their opponent to make a quick strike. - 3 Cyber Sword: I know you know this one, but it transforms one of the navi's arms into a cyber sword. - 3 Wide Sword: Same as Cyber Sword, only it's a wide sword. - 2 Long Sword: Same as the previous two only it is longer, meaning more reach. - 2 YoYo: allows navi to summon and use a razor yoyo. - 2 Barrier: Forms a barrier around the navi to defend from attacks. Usually only holds out against one or two attacks. - 1 Anti Damage: creates a doppelganger of the navi and when attacked sends three throwing stars at the offender. So it's a trap. - 2 Recover: Heals the navi, but not completely. As in enough to keep from being deleted. - 3 Mini Bomb: navi summons and throws a small bomb. - 2 Spreader: Navi Arm transforms into a cannon and fires off a spread round like a shotgun. Generally good to take out multiple weaker enemies at once. - 2 Super Vulcan: Navi arm transforms into a gatling gun of sorts and fires multiple high speed rounds.

Rai had been trying to get some sleep. Since he'd been pulled here he couldn't likely do much and he was clueless as to what was really going on. And even if he tried to rest it was to no avail Even now, he awoke and shot up with a fright. "Wha... Where..." He was out of it. His mind in disarray and his vision blurred. He could barely finish his questions let alone grasp the situation. He was on a bed... In a strange room. Where was he? As his vision cleared up and his panic began to subside he stood up from his bed. He looked around, a hand on his head. He had a little headache. What happened? He couldn't... Wait... "Mom and dad!" He looked around quickly. They weren't there. He didn't know why he'd expected them to be. It was the same whenever he opened or closed his eyes. They just weren't there. "Dammit..." He grit his teeth and clenched his fist slamming it into the nearest wall.

Pulling it back Rai sighed. He ran his fingers through his hair and looked down. He had a necklace on. He never wore a necklace, but this one was an exception. It was his mother's. A gift to her from his father on their first anniversary. It wasn't much, but she treasured it. And since she gave it to him, now he did so. A momento from the two people he cared about more than anything. Of course, when she'd given it to him, she and his father made him promise to go. If anything he could get out right? There was something else though. What was it? "That thing!" What was it? It had appeared in his hands when he lost his bat. He looked at his hand and opened it up. And suddenly it appeared. "Woah..." All he'd done is think about it and now it was here. He was speechless. Soon he was lost in his thoughts about the item. There was a lot he wanted to know. "When did life get so complicated?" He questioned the emptiness of the room around him.

As Rai's thoughts wandered he heard a voice. There was nobody around though! He shuffled through the room and even looked out the door. Nothing! Nobody! Was it magic? It must have been. The guys who brought him here were supposed to be wizards or something right? "Maybe I can get some answers." He said as he reopened the door. He wasn't about to pass this up. It wasn't like he had much of a choice in the matter anyway though right? And his previous thought still rang true. Perhaps he really could get some real answers. He didn't even feel the need to further question himself or hesitate on his thoughts. It wasn't much like him anyway. And with that, he made his way to the portal. When he arrived in the meeting room he felt a bit weird. Travelling like that wasn't something he'd been used to. He wasn't even sure he could get used to it. Still he couldn't hesitate. It was best to remain calm in the current situation and not overreact or lash out unnecessarily. So he took a breath and took a seat to wait for others and the two old men who'd summoned the somewhat motley crew.

As the group began on their way as they should have been Dorian tried to think about how they would help the digimon out. Luckily, Danny voiced the thought just as it popped into his head.

"Well when I said that I was referring to digivolution." Impmon said calmly. "I don't think I got the full knowledge to go into detail, but essentially, we learn more, we get stronger, and grow a bond or some crap like that. It all comes together and allows us digimon to reach the next stage of power and digivolve." He seemed to being trying hard to get the information right just incase he missed something different. "The old lady can really explain it betta." He then added. "She said she would appear once we reach her home on the outer edge of it."

"I think I get it. So that's why you need partners and it's so important for us not to be put in danger. You could probably do it on your own though right?" Dorian said calmly.

"I don't know. I mean i guess... Even our forms right now are the like second or third stages. But as far as I can tell we were practically born to meet you all and save the digital world." Impmon seemed rather determined. Like he had something to prove. But he didn't mention it, thus Dorian didn't pry. Not yet anyway.

(Little bit of info for further notice, while I will use some digimon locations occasionally, for the most part I'm making up some of my own stuff just for RP purposed to make things easier and reduce some travelling time and the need for timeskips.)
