"Wha? But... Even..." Sam sighed and ran his finger's through his hair letting the hood drop and his mask disappear. "If I had to guess it could have something to do with not just becoming a team but working together in order to handle things under the radar or when the League is busy with bigger problems." He sighed before glancing at a large holographic screen. "Or... You know... Maybe it has something to do with the distress signal Bialya is sending..." He said pointing at the screen. Indeed a distress call had just appeared. Something about needing help. Anyone would do.
In Bialya there was a huge battle raging. Well... More like a one sides slaughter. The figure that was Ragnarok was wreaking maximum havoc. The soldiers were firing at him with various handguns, other larger automatic fire arms and shotguns. They had to be careful though. Many civilians were trying to run and evacuate. They had to make sure as many of the innocent got out as possible. There was a video feed with a shadowy monstrous creature(Ragnarok) But it was so cut when a fist slammed into it.
"Yeah that doesn't look good. We need to move in as soon as possible." He said his mask re-materializing as he pulled his hood back up. Just when he thought he could get at least somewhat of a little rest.
Koichi turned his head to look in Kaji's direction. [i[Another nuisance.[/i] He thought just before dropping another unconscious man to the floor. He had a few ideas of what might be going on, but without any concrete evidence as of yet he couldn't give an answer. Not that he had any reason to answer Kaji anyway. "Useless little creatures such as yourself should hide in their holes." He said obviously choosing not to acknowledge Kaji as anymore than another piece of fodder. Albeit a piece of fodder who most definitely wasn't with these pieces of crap he was taking down. But that was more because unlike these little critters, Kaji wasn't the type to huddle together and rely on numbers. The successor to the Hibari name had to give his peer at least that much credit. "Of course, I don't have time to deal with you. Do what you want." He said continuing on his way to the shrine. It was close. That was good. They didn't have time to waste. Kaji could follow if he so chose. Koichi wouldn't even try to stop him. In fact the mere sight of the idiotic delinquent still alive in this chaos was intriguing. If nothing else he could serve as a good decoy. At the very least bait. But it was imperative to get what he needed from the base.
"Ah... Well... No..." Red Star kind of panicked a bit when his sister spoke to Aviva. "It's okay Sakura. She didn't mean any harm by it." He said calmly. He appreciated the care he just felt it might be best to handle his meister himself. Of course, being his older sister and being that she was so caring and protective she wouldn't back down. He knew that, but he had to try. "Anyway... Um... We should probably take our seats Aviva." He said to her quickly.
"Hey lover boy... Get over here. You know the drill." Alex heard a low gruff voice beckon to him. He sighed his conversation being cut before it could even really fully begin. "Right." The young mutant said calmly as he turned to face his foster father of sorts. "Guess we'll talk another time." He said to his new friend with a calm smile before entering the Danger Room with Wolverine. Still before anything was started he raised the difficulty level. Not too much, but enough that Alex would have a bit of a hard time. Okay more than a bit of a hard time. "Get ready kid." Wolverine said. Alex responded by cracking his knuckles. "Always ready pops." he said with a slightly cocky smirk as he awaited the beginning of his training.

(I'll chronicle his run in the Danger Room in my next post. This is just a little something because I feel I've waiting long enough to post.)
Feels like even though we just got started we're kind of already falling through.
Still I like where we're starting and don't want to rush.
So let's take our time and I hope you're all still with me and I hope we can pick it up and not let it die completely.
Iggy listened calmly to Booker's orders. They were good. "Nice job Booker. Couldn't have made a better plan myself." He said calmly. "But if I may. I think it would be best if Aria came with Winny and I. She can enhance us while we fight. Oh and don't forget to let keep everyone carefully coordinated in certain areas of the forest." He said calmly before looking around and then fixing his sight on Fox. "We should all go with Fox. Not just Skyler. It'll be bad if one of us falls for one of our own traps." He added speaking a bit so all of the current members of his little makeshift team could hear. This would save Booker the trouble of announcing it.
"Hayley?" Rose asked as she and Bart came to Hayley's apartment. It was just as she was leaving that they arrived. "HAYLEY!" The two shouted as they ran to the window.
"Very good." Deathstroke said having been monitoring when Red Devil had acquired the current target. "Since I had to rid myself of my last protege to be I suppose his partner will do." He said to himself as he awaited their arrival. Still he paid little to no attention them once they did arrive. It was silent. Up until he turned in his seat. "Tell me. If I do decide to bring my nephew back what will you do? Escape with him? We both know that won't work. You're weak." He said rather bluntly. "Of course, I wouldn't object to making you stronger. So long as you do what I say until he does come back." He offered wondering how she'd react.
"You can stop now or later." Red Star said poking May on the shoulder. He'd been ready. In fact he'd been woken up at around 4:30 by his father. The man sobered up fairly quickly and pretty much dive bombed his son after he got a few hours of rest. From there a rigid exercise and spar session began. Still despite all of that Red Star looked relatively normal. "Let's hurry before mom loses her hold on dad and we end up going through the same thing we went through last month." He said with a sigh. Black Star didn't know when to quit sometimes. "Oh you look good today, by the way. Or maybe I should say as usual." He said with a slight laugh.
"I don't think Mar's is devoid of chairs, but what do I know huh KF?" Sam spoke as he flew into the room. Then it occurred to him that they probably didn't know him. he hadn't really been around much to do superhero team ups or anything like that. In fact today he was freshly back from space because of a stupid meeting with the stupid guardians. Plus he had some training with Kilowag, but well... That was kind of awesome sometimes. Dude was a drill instructor, but still. "Anyway. What's up everyone? I hear we're gonna be a team." He said with a calm smile as he landed on the floor beside Alice. "I'm Sam Raynor. In case you couldn't tell, I'm a Green Lantern." He introduced himself calmly.
Meanwhile...

Somewhere deep in the heart of Bialya was a small crew of scientists being guarded by a small group of about 5 mercenaries. They were unloading a large pod from a truck which contained a human figure. "Geez... We seriously gonna do this? I mean... the damn thing'll destroy everything right? Women and children too right?" One of the mercs whispered to another. "Look..." The other paused. He sighed. "Long as we're gettin paid we can't say or do nothin. Just keep your mouth shut alright?" He said calmly. "Would both of you shut up?" A female mercenary said calmly.

With that they returned to guard duty as the scientists continued their task of prepping their creation for another test run. Would their code words work? Would it act with precision and proper skill? Whether or not the beast they would soon release met their current expectations as it had so many times before was crucial. After all. This time the Bialyan army had received an "anonymous" tip that they would be attacked soon. This was no simple thing as far as the Bialyans were concerned. They were ready. Too bad they small group had already been in the country. Soon it would begin.
Emily chuckled slightly. "You're pretty sharp aren't you? But don't worry. I'll make it as painfully rough as possible." Don't worry followed by a promise of more pain than probably humanly imaginable. What a class act she was. Still upon the attack from Aegis she sighed and darted off to the side using the shadows at he feet as a sort of makeshift shield. "That was kind of predictable. Still I'll give you points for effort. If that had happened you might have gotten me all defenseless and exposed." She sounded pretty joyful despite how grim a thought it might be. Or maybe hot a thought in a different context... No, but seriously it wasn't gonna be easy. She approached Aegis with amazing speed ready to try and get in a punch to the gut followed by one to the face before he could erect a Wave Barrier. "Let's see if you'll be a worthy toy."
"You know I was hoping that what I found might be a bit more challenging." Ryuji said as he began to dodge the bullets along with the slashes directed at him. It was so much easier than he had hoped. Yeah he wanted it to be tougher. He might be more satisfied about this. He grabbed the one using darkness magic by the neck using some fairly intricate footwork and maneuvering. "That's enough of you." He said as he squeeze the man's throat. He attempted to gasp, but Ryuji's shushed him. "You'll only make it worse for yourself." He said as he ran towards the mage using bullet magic. The darkness mage was a good human shield being prodded full of bullets until he was bloody mess of flash and bone's riddled with holes. "No remorse even for each other. It's why I hate you bastards." He said Squeezed tighter around the now dead man's throat and spun using him like a bat to slam the other across the room into a wall. The impact cause him to turn into a pile of mush against the surface.

The other fat bastards just seemed to be cowering at this point. "You know... At this point I'm starting to feel bad. Like maybe I should show mercy." He said as he approached the sniveling assholes who'd huddled together as if it'd help. "Then I think of the atrocities you've committed." he paused." Let's pretend like I wasn't a Shirahama. Like you hadn't put me through what you did. I'd want to do this because you tried to do it again. To the clan my dear friend... The clan the girl I love belongs to. Her family. That..." He squeezed his now blood stained fists and looked down. Possibly trying to think of some reason not to horrifically end their lives as they had done to countless others. But than thoughts of Misaki rushed through his mind. Her, his clan... Their families... "THAT IS UNFORGIVABLE!!" He roared as he began to one by one tear these men apart limb from limb.

"Where the fuck is that damn Shirahama bitch?!" The remaining council member shouted. "What the fuck did you just say?!" Ryuji shouted in anger. He didn't even have a chance to explain before his life was brought to an end by the rampaging Shirahama. And just like that the life of the corrupt council members had been taken. There was nothing left but a bloody mess of organs, flesh, bones. The scene could possibly leave some of the most elite mages mortified. Especially when they learned that a young mage still in school was the cause. He looked down to the lower level and prepared to head down to meet Rico. Then they could meet Aegis and hopefully leave. If they weren't surrounded completely. They probably couldn't handle anymore fighting. Not now anyway. .
