i tend to have a bit more faith when the actor knows, likes and cares for the character. So yeah.
I can never focus too much on looks because often an actor can bulk up or possibly slim down, grow hair etc. So his look isn't what I focus on. But like... I saw this interview from a while back and I thought...
"Hmmmmm.... Maaaaayyybeee." You know?

Like maybe he'll do good. Also he seems to be a big Gambit fan....
Check it out:
Yomi drank some more. "Lets decide after this crap gets straightened out." He said calmly as he ordered more to drink. Not like he couldn't pay for it after all if he was the Shogun's son.
"So you honestly believe that the best possible thing for our clan is to throw away the ways which we used to build ourselves into what we are?" A woman's voice bellowed through the empty halls as she held a private meeting with Yaozu. This woman was the one who gave birth to him. His mother. The current leader of the Liqian. She and yaozu had recently had an argument about this subject and now she was confronting him after a few days of avoidance and silence.

Yaozu exhaled as he contemplated this for a moment. "Yes mother." He finally answered. "I believe it is our fixation on these ways of helping and taking in all those outsides that is leading us down. Our economy is suffering and our resources are running low." He spoke calmly. It was somewhat true, but not entirely. They were low on food. It was a bad harvest this year. But they could always gather more. Money was tight. But they could always barter and trade. That was his mother's view, but Yaozu was afraid this wouldn't work. And he couldn't simply trust outsiders.

"I see." Yanmei sighed before standing up. "I received a letter recently. I think now is the perfect time for you to go out into the world. And in doing so I hope you'll learn to be more compassionate and caring for others more so than yourself." She stated rather bluntly.

"So you're making me leave? Just like that?!" yaozu was angry, but he wasn't stupid enough to go against her. "At least tell me what I'll be doing."

Yanmei explained the entire situation to him as the letter expressed to her. "So you'll go as our representative. Take this mission and use it as a learning experience." She instructed.

Yaozu begrudgingly agreed and left to prepare to for his trip. It wasn't long before he was ready. A bag with a bit of clothes. Aside from that he had mostly tools a monk would use. Sutra charms, Rosary, etc. And with that he was on his way without even a word to his mother who watched him go praying he would learn the lessons she wanted him to.
Yomi sighed and drank his sake before fist bumping Kaori. "Finally." He said calmly before offering her drink. He sighed. "You know... I used to sit around listening to the old men in Shizukesa talking about how they just wanted to drink it all away. Like just forget everything." He said to her. "Me... I wanted the opposite. When i drank... I would see pictures. I couldn't make them out. So I'd try to drink more." Yomi laughed a bit. "I guess drinking to remember is kind of stupid though isn't it?"
I'll se if Vengerchu can post and if not then I'll just post. I know she's busy with stuff.

EDIT: Hey I know this is a little out of the blue and off topic, but...
What do you guys think of Channing Tatum playing Gambit? I'm interested in hearing thoughts. Personally, I'm always willing to give actors and chance and even root for them to do good regardless of hate. So I guess I'd like him to do well. Any thoughts?
So I just added a villain for our main villain to interact with and "order" around lol
Hope you all like him like I like him. He should be fun. lol
kaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy lol
Yomi was currently looking his parents over. "So?" He asked wanting an answer on a way to prove it. He looked like Hiro sure, but that could have been a coincidence. And who knows how many kids had gotten lost in Shizukesa. It was possible they mistook him for someone else. Maybe he was just in denial. And the way Kaori was acting wasn't helping. God it was so frustrating. "Dammit..." He mumbled before turning to Kaori. "How long are you gonna act so troublesome? So... So god damn stupid?!" He snapped at her. "In the span of these few minutes what's really changed about me other than my status which we aren't even really sure of?!" He didn't like the way she was acting. It was her. It wasn't the Kaori he... Well that didn't matter. "Just find me when you think of a way to prove all of this." He barked at his parents before storming off. He wouldn't really leave. Maybe just hit the bar. And drink. And drink. And then when he was hammered. He'd drink some more.
I wanna make sure everyone gets a chance to post again or at least almost everyone. So. Whoever is left just post. I'll most likely get something up by tomorrow. So yeah.
