Lol, I can do that too. It takes me hours, upon hours to find the perfect picture for a character. I had to switch Pascale's gender simply because I wasn't finding any anime neko dude suitable. Also because tumblr has a lot of naughty pictures. ._. I wasn't expecting that, but that was totes my bad.I have to take breaks from time to time, so as not to completely and utterly die of frustration.

Haha, I love creating characters so much, even if I complain about Bios and Personalities 'cause I usually make those a little too long. It's not so much getting something interesting and creating something lengthy, it's more getting started. It's always hard for me to get things started than it is anything else; when I do, I usually don't stop until I deem it necessary to and I even find myself complaining about how short something is and overcompensating afterwards. >_<

I've never used the same character for other RPs. It's just how I handle the character thing, personally. I like making characters and I enjoy that whole moment of 'bonding' with them as you create them. I have a handful of characters that I've made through the years that I've grown attached to.Dusk/Fallout knows like three of 'em, since they're all three in an RP we awesomely finished in about a span of a few months 'cause PiratePad is the shit. I wouldn't use them in any other setting because I have an issue with putting one character from one universe into another 'cause then you lose all of the development you put them through, all the memories, and all the trials and tribulations they've endured. I especially couldn't put the ones I mentioned into any others because they're my most detailed and developed batch. I wouldn't be able to handle having to do that all over again 'cause I feel they lose their spark and what makes them compelling characters.Though, that, again, is me and I don't have any problems with people who reuse and rehash and tweak characters to suit other universes and RPs. I actually kinda wish I could do that 'cause it would give me more opportunity to use characters that I absolutely loved from RPs that have died.

I'm weird and like to make sure I have a solid understanding of how I want a character to be.If I don't write up a personality section, then they're going to be uninteresting, dull, and stupid. That's how I see my characters and their personalities. Even if I stray from the personality I've constructed almost immediately, it will still be a thousand times better than any character I make without a planned, structured, and well thought out Bio and Personality section. I suck at developing a foundation for a character on the fly; I have to sit down and think about a character that will interest me and keep me interested in an RP.It's how I judge if I'll be able to stick with an RP from beginning to end, really. If I can't make a character I find really interesting, then I drop out of the RP completely because I know if I whip up something half-assed, I'm not going to stay past the first page. I need to love the characters I make and that means spending a good few hours, maybe a day, making one from top to bottom. I'm a picky perfectionist when it comes to my own creations. >_>

It's more like...people like to make cool, quiet people...and then back the fuck off from that personality trait in the actual RP, because the whole concept of a RP is interaction, and it's damn difficult to RP a loner.

Hue. Re-reading all the personalities makes me realize how contradictory a lot of the personalities and IC actions have been.
