The trap's just a bait. It doesn't matter if you can lash out at the sludge... It's the splash that does the most damage. Cut it and nw you just have two balls of slime coming at you. and someone's gotta go clean that up...

Sayuri sighed at Kalimay's response but knew better than to push the issue, "Where should we sit? Towards the front or back?" noticing the trap activate she watches the flying objects come at them, "Whoever did this has poor taste in welcomes," she then uses her Lash to try and knock away one of the globs but it splattered on her jacket. Swearing she grabs Kalimay and Alistair and uses her Lash again to get them away and in a couple of quick dashes they're in the auditorium only getting hit by the splash of a couple. Letting go of Kalimay and Alistair she tries to get as much of the goop of her as possible, "I swear if this stuff stains and I find out who did that I'm totally going to kick their ass."
