Hey, DeskLamp, I would really love for Jespir and Elora to have a conversation, seeing as she is itching to. Jespir is the first elf she's seen, aside from her family, in a century I don't really care when that it, but I would rather it be sometime within the beginning of their trip. Would you mind doing a 1x1 type post with me? When the time comes for that?.

Sure! And good luck with Deathly Hollows. *sniff*
Was hoping to post sooner, unfortunately my wifi hates me, as it just went to crap for half the day. :/ At least it started to begrudgingly like me again. Wooo

Changed to have Jespir's ship crashed. After all, what fun would a journey be if it'll be that easy?
He let out a low, nervous chuckle as the dwarf explained what they were dealing with. A dragon capable of corruption...Jespir's claim of facing ten dragons suddenly seemed more weak with that info in mind. But he wanted that treasure, and he already signed the contract. He couldn't just give up at the start.

He picked ten coins from the pouch and made a mental checklist. Food, an extra coat, a sleeping bag, and perhaps even a good load of booze. Getting a horse was questionable. He hadn't ridden a horse since--well, ever! Jespir recalled watching his half siblings gallop without care around the city on horses. He had tried asking if he could perhaps join in on their fun. Their answer was to try and run him over. No, ships were more akin to Jespir's best form of transportation. And with half his ship laying scattered in a forest somewhere, it appeared that, unless he found another source of transportation, Jespir was walking.

He watched as a younger dwarf, their employer's son apparently, walk in. Jespir gave a small nod of approval. Tregon was his name, and he looked capable to lead an army. Or in this case, a ragtag group of adventurers. He was going to be a good leader, Jespir could tell. Better than his former captain at least.

Fatigue itched at at he elf's drooping eyes. The long walk to the village was taking its toll, and with the dark swallowing the light, it was time to rest. "Well," he said with a yawn, "there's been enough excitement for one day. I believe it's time I rested." He waved goodnight before heading upstairs with a cheery hum on his lips.
A clear whistle pierced the air like a dagger. The cheerful tune was dissonant against the melancholy village. Beggars would raise their eyes, but once caught the source of song, quickly lowered their gaze once more. Not that Jespir minded. Keeping a low profile, a task he had trouble, was necessary at this time. The less odd looks the better. A sly smile was etched across the elf's face, accentuating his cocky stride. Though his ship had utterly crashed at the end his journey, he felt as if nothing could spoil his mood. After all, today was finally the day. The day he got rich! Well, at least the day he got a step closer to being rich. He was to meet someone at a Black Water Inn. Some would think the deal shifty, but hey, money was money.

Excitement blossomed in Jespir's chest as he caught sight of a the tavern. Its windows glowed warmly with dark silhouettes moving inside. There looked to be more than expected, but that was no bother. He could share, so long as he got what he wanted. As he neared the tavern, voices became more apparent.

"...It was long ago that Kal'Draguraz fell, it will be six hundred years in a few weeks. Many of your people go searching for Kal'Draguraz because they want the treasure. What I want you to do is the impossible. You are to get into Kal'Draguraz and kill the black dragon known as Belthar the Corrupter. This task won't be easy, but if you complete it you will live the rest of your live as kings and queens," a voice drifted towards the elf.

Jespir perked up immediately. Treasure? Though there was that bit with the dragon...but hell, if that meant living a life of luxury, he would fight five, no, ten dragons!

He entered the tavern with excite, but paused when he caught sight of the odd group gathered inside. Was that a talking ninja dog? And a goblin? And a dwarf? And that wasn't even mentioning the heavily armoured woman, a man who looked like he should have been with the beggars, and a girl with black skin and one arm. It was more of a surprise seeing this strange cluster rather than alarm. Jespir grinned. In fact, this just made the day a whole lot interesting.

The next words of the dwarf were enough to wipe the smile away.
"Now then, if you are truly comitted to this cause you shall sign this document with your full name. This document is a commitment to complete your quest even if it means you have to die. Upon signing this document, you will hand your money to me so that you people can start anew."

But...Jespir liked money. And he liked living. And he liked living with money. But then again, he also like living like a king. The goblin's words were enough for Jespir to join the gathered group, though the scruffy-looking man's summary of the ridiculousness of the situation did manage to fill a bit of unease in him.

"Say it like that, boy, and we might not even reach the Spine," Jespir said to the boy with a returning grin as he reluctantly handed over his money and signed the document.

It's to the point where you see the alien, and you just stand there and take it. xD We thought it was going to end ./dead

Before I forget to ask, would anyone want a character banner, like I have for Elora? They are quick and simple to make if you have a character picture. If anyone wants one, just ask. It won't hurt my feelings if you don't, lol. I just know I find it easier, personally, to always have that character's image with the post. Particularly at the beginning. Then again, I'm a bit strange. xD

I'll take one, please!

And I'll get started on that IC post.
See a walking, talking ninja turtle and no one bats an eye. See a walking, talking ninja dog and everybody loses their minds.

Always wanted to day that, heheheh...
Anyways, my CS is done (FINALLY). Sorry about the wait. I blame school play rehearsals.
I just need to type up the History on my CS. Apart from that, I'm done.
Name
Jespir Vernix

Apperance

Age: 138 in human, or 23 in elf
Race: Elf
Gender: Male
Height and Weight: 6'3" and 132.3 lbs
Eye color: Hazel
Scars: Numeous scars from sword fights are slashed across his back and front, and three prominent bullet sized scars sit on his chest.
Personality: Talkative and outgoing, Jespir's energetic spirit has earned him many allies in his travels. Unfortunately, his arrogant nature and sharp tongue have earned him just as many enemies. Jespir is as stubborn as a rock, and will do anything to get what he wants. He will keep on fighting for what he believes in, even if said belief is questionable. His sense of humor is that of a pirate's: offensive, dirty, and full of crude language. No surprise considering that he technically is a pirate. To Jespir, there's only one way to settle an argument: fight. Even better if it's to the death. He's protective of close friends, though he's too prideful to really say so.
Fears:
- Drowning
- Spiders
-Getting caughtl
Likes:
- Airships
- Fighting
- Cooking

Inventory: 1 flask containing water; 1 flask containing alcohol; small roll of bandages; a deck of playing cards and dice; a journal; two rolls of bread
Purse: 1 silver and 30 copper
Weapons:
- A large cutlass
- A crossbow
- A dagger
Armor: Apart from light shoulder plates and a chain mail shirt beneath his normal clothing, he wears very little armour.
Fighting style: Jespir favors using melee weapons, preferably his cutlass, rather than range, though he will resort to using his crossbow if necessary. Stealth and strategy is not his forte, as he prefers charging head on into battle without a real plan. More offensive than defensive, Jespir is known for attacking with rapid succession. This can make him vulnerable from sneak attacks. There's no such thing as a fair fight to Jespir--if he sees an advantage, he'll take the opportunity and abuse it.

I'll start on the History when I get home. Apart from that, I'm all good!
Reserved, and will send in my character after school.
