Jespir's head shook back and forth as he followed the conversation between the two, and suppressed an amused and astonished smile at their exchange of sharp words. It was always nice seeing teams work together. He settled into a nearby chair and leaned back as if attending a play. His comments, though, remained unvoiced. This verbal duel was between them, and he was definitely not getting involved.

The talk, as entertaining as it was, soon finished. His eyes followed the farmer boy, Ernst apparently, storm out the tavern before switching to the one-armed woman, Kat. "That was one hell of a show," he laughed. "I'm anxious for an encore."

He nodded in greeting towards the arriving companions. His introduction was past due. "Name's Captain Jespir," he greeted with a grin. He had never really thought to himself as a captain, but he like the ring of it.

In other news, , have an updated sketch of Kat.

Aww that looks awesome! :D

And if this RP ever dies, may the heavens strike me down with-- *sky thunders* ...a falling icecream truck!
He was in the city. His city. Everywhere he looked, there were tiny black dragons dancing and laughing at him. Their faces had been replaced by twisted renditions of his family and former crew. Their taunting voices grew to a discorded crescendo until Jespir was sure his sensitive ears would bleed. They nipped and bit and clawed at his skin and clothing. The horde of tiny dragons crawled into Jespir, pulling him down to his knees. Dragon after dragon piled onto him until darkness filled his sight.

Then Jespir woke.

The elf's eyes snapped open. Fear lingered in his chest, but it slowly ebbed away as Jespir took in his surroundings. They were unfamiliar, that much he knew. Where was he? He propped himself up on his elbows, the fear replaced by confusion, then amusement. Ah, right. The whole deal he made regarding the Spine and the dragon and a whole slew of companions. He chuckled softly to himself and slipped out of bed.

He had slept in his clothing that night, save for his armor and coat, so it took little time for him to prepare and bound down the stairs. Jespir waved as he caught sight of some people already up. "G'morning," he greeted. The smell of food drifted over, lighting up the elf's face. "Mind if I helped cook? I haven't burned down a kitchen for five months now, so I'd like to regard myself as a good chef."
XD I have a feeling that by the end of this, there's going to be enough ships to fill a chunky novel with. Actually...
*breathes heavily and writes in a book*

Oh, and yay timeskip!

Desk, Asia is a pretty broad spectrum. Which country/area are you based? At the moment I'm thinking of cosplaying momo from

In the Philippines.
And that's awesome! :D

I've never really cosplayed before, but I do enjoy seeing people do it and how creative they can get.

Magic Magnum said But first and foremost I am a Gamer, favourite titles being Walking Dead, Mass Effect, Wolf Among (I'm a sucker for Story > Gameplay), but also enjoy games such as Civ 5, Planetside 2, XCOM, FTL etc.

I find that a good story, along with smooth game mechanics and nice art and soundtrack, are key ingredients to an amazing game.
Walking Dead and Wolf Among Us are brilliant games, but oh jeez that rollercoaster of emotions I get when playing...
I like story based games, as well as some RPGs and a few shooters.
Coffee is good. Chocolate is good. Chocolate Coffee is beautiful.

So, eh, hey I guess. I'm Desk Lamp, but you can just call me...uh, I don't have a nickname actually. I'm a highschooler in Asia, though I have spent a majority of my life in America. (WOO USA! USA! USA!) In fact, this is my first time coming home to Asia in, what, ten years?

I'm a reader of odd and obscure books provided cheaply by the trusty local secondhand bookstore, the speaker of two and a half languages, and an obsessor over the supernatural and strange (even if it scares the living oompaloompas outta me). Admittedly, I ain't a Social Sally. I'm pretty reserved when I'm not in my element, but can be pretty chatty around close friends and family.
I like to draw, and hope to become a cartoonist or videogame designer one day. If that doesn't work, my Plan B is to become a chef. If that doesn't work, Plan C is to take over the world and open up a portal to the dark world of Tirgoszonia to enslave all of humanity. :)
Right now, I'm writng this on my glitchy phone while pretending to be asleep even though my curfew is still a good chunk away...yeah..

I have not caught up to Dr. Who X_X Just on the second season, gah.
I like cosplaying. Tetri, who are you cosplaying as? :D
Thanks! :D
The Forest Spirit was half inspired by the lifealope, and half inspired the odd thought of, 'What would the baby of a cat deer look like?'
Interested.
I'm fine with either, but I'm leaning towards #2.
Jespir stared at the wall, his tired eyes refusing to shut. He had to get some sleep soon. The night was fading, and he was to get up early the next morning. Yet why couldn't he just rest?

It was the thought of him.
That's why he couldn't sleep. The thought of that odd, poor looking young man. What was his name again? Ah, yes, Ernst. For some reason, Jespir could not shake away Ernst's image from his mind. That damn, unkempt, muscular, determined image. An image one might see as plain, but to Jespir was actually quite handsome.

"Ah, hell..." he swore quietly, shutting his eyes in frustration. The sun was going to rise soon, and still sleep was absent. He ran a hand through his pale hair and sighed. Try as he might, the thought of that oddly charming human remained.
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

XD And the thought of the most innocent character walk into the washroom...magnificently awkward.
I'm done posting til morning comes for 'em. Good thing too since IT TOOK THREE DAMN HOURS TO GET HOME FROM SCHOOL AND THE INTERNET IS BEING KINDA ARSEY AND--
Um, ahem. Just reading along, though I might let Jespir do some pre-journey socializing.
