Apparently I made this account seven years ago and never did anything with it? Ah well. Time to dust it off and see what we can come up with.
I've been roleplaying regularly for around 15 years now, and doing some personal writing beside that, so I'd like to think I can spit out some half-decent prose. I don't take myself too seriously, whatever the case, so hopefully that number isn't daunting to anyone!
I tend to lean towards long-form, long-term RP with a heavy focus on story, characterisation, and worldbuilding. Collaborative worldbuilding is one of my favourite things to engage with, building everything from scratch with someone that is as enthused about the process as myself. That said, I'm not above being gratuitous or self-indulgent with that process, adding in an abundance of favoured tropes and the like—hobbies are meant to be for fun, after all.
Mostly interested in 1 on 1 roleplay as I find groups difficult to contend with at the best of times, with PMs the preferred method because boy am I self-conscious about writing in the public eye. Discord can also be a thing for anyone I click with.
Aside from roleplay, I'm an avid gamer (often combining the two interests where MMORPGs are concerned), reader, writer, and semi-proficient artist. But most importantly, a professional homebody. Outside? Public spaces? Never met 'er.
That's about it for now. I'll probably be perusing interest checks soon enough, if not posting one myself.
