"What is your power." Katherin asked curiously. "Making ice pops in the summer would be fun if I could ever gain control of my ability. It never does what I imagine it doing." She hoped that she would be allowed to stay her but she wasnt totally convinced that she would yet. She hadnt lost control of her ability in a big way since she got here.
"Well once you loose total control, maybe then you can start experimenting and channeling it better. You know how when building a new dam, they make the river flood the area so that they can construct a breakwater. Same thing, unless you don't cause a mini apocalypse, popsicle will be a challenge" he said with a laugh.
"Just kidding, don't take it seriously." he said after a brief pause. "As for my power. It's nothing as cool as yours. I just re-channel energy received. Though in eyes of the kind detective that dropped me off here, what I had done a few days back would have earned me a place in the high security prison in Nashville." he said without sugarcoating it.
"So I guess, I can be considered detrimental to society if influenced by the wrong part of it. Knowing my background, he decided to drop me off here. For which I am grateful, found really lovely people here." he finished.
