Anthony listens to the history lecture in silent excitement. Once Professor Xavier finished, Anthony walks up to him and shakes his hand, "That lecture was fascinating. Is there any chance you could give me a few lectures on the weekends over the history of just superpowered beings? I consider myself somewhat of an expert on the subject, but I always welcome opportunities to expand my knowledge. After all, what better way to do so than to learn from an integral part of history?"
“All of history is integral, Anthony Luthor. While it is good to be an expert of a particular subject, this class focuses on introducing all of history and its beauties and tragedies as a single race.
However, I would still be glad to offer my students with all the knowledge they wish to attain. It is a good learning etiquette. Unfortunately, I cannot teach over the weekends. I would recommend, however, the library and read up on the many textbooks I’ve ordered for your pleasure. I personally recommended “The History of the Superpowers.” I hope that will satisfy, and unfortunately I have to leave now. Good day, Anthony.”
Sue sat the entire lecture through barely awake; it was a bit strange that they had to take History after such a tiring session in PE. Nevertheless, Sue persevered and took down and highlighted notes on the timelines she’d be given. There was a trick to memorizing and understanding History: it was to be understood as a story – relaying everything into a movie with all its moving parts; Actors, script-writing, lighting, sound, props, directing, all were pivotal to the success or at least the flow of a movie, and history is much like this, since you could understand each important factor as told from different points of view and is a factual statement, regardless of its lack of objectivity.

Kijani sat through the lecture, calmly and rapidly taking notes. She'd never been taught history from a broad point of view. Most, if not all, of the history she'd had in school was American or Euro-centric. This was something different, and she found that she liked it. She turned to Sue with a ready smile. "Want... lunch?" She signed, and started to put her things away.
The class ended, and Kijani and Sue went out of the classroom after much nodding and smiling from Sue. She could use some fresh air from what had felt like still, deadening air from the classroom. She hadn’t meant any disrespect to Professor X, as history was simply not everyone’s favourite subject. Sue was immersed, but one couldn’t help but be lulled into drowsiness when other people were fast asleep in the same room as you were, all the bored expressions and lack of responses. Professor X must have a burden of reading all of their thoughts and reflecting that their class was not the most enticing to the youngsters despite its importance he advocated.
The two met Ben, and they conversed on the topics of the class and Kijani’s powers. Sue learnt that Kijani had had them for a very long time. Sue thought that that was actually kind of beautiful, to have already experienced the world in such a different way from such a young age. Sue just smiled in the presence of the two.
The two went to the cafeteria straight away, and Sue sat outside in the tables with the umbrellas, away from the noise, and her tray filled, yet again, to the brim with food.

… Phoebe stared down at the food in her hands, suddenly unable to eat it. She closed her eyes tight, struggling against tears that threatened to spill.
She dropped the food, letting her head fall into her hands, taking deep, steadying breaths.
Sue did not mean to leave Kijani alone, but she picked up her tray and gestured Kijani into hoping she’d follow her over to the crying girl Sue saw. That was a thing that Sue liked to do, and it was to comfort people as much as she could. She was a very sociable person and enjoyed the company of her friends, in their times of need, and hopefully, in her own times of need. She also looked around a lot, not being distracted as easily with the need to talk, so she was able to see what most people were too busy to see.
She went over to her, sat down, and started eating next to Phoebe. She didn’t see an apple on Phoebe’s tray, so Sue picked up her own apple and offered it to her with a smile.
