With the crowd gathering and the cacophony of noises ever rising in volume, Sue had to leave her surroundings. Besides, with her 5'3" stature she was not able to see anything with the amassing herd of people.
She moved to an adjacent building and raced up the stairs to the first available window. She reveled at the sight of an alien! Her jumping ecstatic, her breathing and thoughts jovial. What a turbulent wave of emotions she experienced today, so much so throughout the day that Sue barely realized the time.
The Sun was now setting, the sky orange, the clouds a nice combination of pink and red, the atmosphere above them greying and darkening.
Though it was near night, the action never stopped in the Academy.
