Ben's teeth chatter as he kneels with his hands on the ground. His hands clench together while he starts to stand. Suddenly, he spins and throws several shards of ice at Mimic before leaping over Mimic's head and disappearing. While invisible, Ben silently sticks to the ceiling above and slightly behind Mimic.
“You spider guys are all the same,” he said as if he knew that Ben would be on the ceiling. He jumped upwards and now stood on the ceiling. The whole room was upside-down, but Ben and Mimic were all the more adept to fighting at any angle.
He fired and maintained a steady laser beam, flying back to the floor of the room and, jumping back up, feet first towards Ben back at the ceiling.
Using one leg to keep himself upright, Ben leans to the side, making a T shape with his body, bringing him lower than the extended wings. He quickly pivots on his heel, spinning backward, and attempting to smash his heel into Mimic's ribs.
The heel connected, and it hurt as Mimic started to bend backwards from the momentum. But upon contact, he utilized his cryokinesis and froze Ben from the heel to the leg, which spread to his entire body. Soon enough, the ice engulfed Ben entirely. It was thick ice and was quite opaque; one would not be able to see the figure inside where it not for Mimic immediately smashing the ice with a mighty kick.
“You’ve got so much space to work with, Ben. Don’t stay too close.”
Ben bends backward, allowing the first blast to travel harmlessly where his head once was, and continues the motion by bringing his legs over him, doing a full backflip. He easily side steps the second of the lasers, then ducks under the third as he runs at Mimic. He leaps into the air, flips forward, and flies feet first toward Mimic's freakishly chiseled jaw.
He fell to the ground, his head rebounding on the floor. Mimic grimaced in pain and massaged his jaw. He propelled himself to the air with the might of wings and, with the assumption of Ben’s agility through his innate mimicry, he froze the tips of his wings and began spinning like a top at Ben.
